We purchased this house in 2015 and had our basement waterproofed in 2016. We have since refinished our basement with peace of mind we will have no water damage in our basement. It was money well spent. We would recommend Ohio State Waterproofing to anyone wanting worry free and dry basements.

Ohio State Waterproofing did a professional and thorough job of waterproofing my basement. I have not experienced any problems whatsoever since the job was completed many years ago. The price was fair and the salesman explained everything about the process. The workers were industrious and competent and satisfied all my needs with respect to retaining a normalcy in the appearance of the basement. They recommended and installed outdoor window wells and they preserved my patio stones.

Ohio State Waterproofing completed the waterproofing of my basement in 2013. Since that time, I have had no water in my basement. I have peace of mind that I won't experience any water damage to my home during any storms. They stand by their work with a lifetime warranty. I am very pleased with their work.

The waterproofing job was done effectively. Has not been an issue since having it done years ago. The cost has gone up per year however from $10-$75 per year.

You can depend on them to give great service. I had to contact them when my pump stopped working and we expected a storm, I called and they were out there in an hour. They know their business and do a wonderful job.

The supervisor was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to determine the problem. The workers were efficient and I haven't had any issues with the basement since they came.

We had huge amounts of water in our basement when we first moved in more than 43 years ago. Ohio State Waterproofing came out, solved the problems, and has been a valuable asset to our basement remaining dry over these decades. Since their initial work, over the years they have come out to replace sump pumps, fix drainage, and check on other minor problems that have come about over time. Who would have thought that all these years that lifetime protection would really last so long!

Complete foundation waterproofing system outside and inside systems used. Dry basement ever since. With warranty, they came out and replaced the sump pump when it stopped working. Have and would recommend them.

I am always impressed when I need OSW to come out for a service call. They are courteous, listen to my issue or concerns and have the expertise to correct the issue. They recently change a defective check value and at a latter date identified calking that needs to be replaced on our patio. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to work with the best crews in the business.

Great company, Had my basement waterproofed over 35 yrs ago..never had an issue

We had Ohio State Waterproofing do our basement in 2015 when we started seeing water seepage. We had just moved in and it was very important that not only the basement had no water leakage, but that I find a company that GUARANTEED its' work for life. We found that peace of mind in Ohio State Waterproofing. I don't know of another company that does this work that stands behind it like they do. You can see why the company has been in business as long as it has. The crew came out, no nonsense. Work was done to spec, cleanly and professionally. By the end of the job, there were 3-4 crews working on my house to finish it BEFORE schedule. The only thing that slowed the job was the city inspector. A drain was run outside the house, and a second one run within, along the basement walls. The floor was broken up and then re-cemented. I remember it was humid as it could have been down there and the crew worked tirelessly. Water pump w backup battery was also installed. The basement is my office and my sanctuary. It is also where I earn a part of my living as a music teacher. Before having the finishing done it was imperative that I had a guaranteed, leak free environment for this. OSW gives you this. Where I grew up as a kid, I still have bad memories of helping to scrape and repaint our basement walls, only to have to do it again 5 years later. Water seepage that drove my Dad crazy. You get what you pay for with OSW folks, and will not regret the investment, especially if your basement is going to be used for more than just a storage area. My basement also became the source of my live performances during COVID, where I had to stream most of my music from. We received a lot of heavy rains in the Parma area during late Spring / early Summer, and a ton of people, were affected by basement flooding. One of my friends had to throw away her precious memories of her grandfather because they got soaked. Waterproofing is one of those thing most are not pro-active, but RE-active about. OSU Waterproofing is a great company that stands by their lifetime warranty. They have come out before to replace the sump pump and this was years after the initial work was completed. I felt so confident there was no moisture in the basement I installed carpeting and have not had an issue. If you have a leak, mold or a moisture issue contacting OSU waterproofing for an evaluation is highly recommended.

They are very fast

POOR quality of work and even worse customer service. Waterproofing was done in February 2015. The job was incomplete. In 2016, we found drain pipe missing. - Approx 6 inches missing leading to the sump. In 2017, we found the drain under the utility sink had not been replaced. Ohio State just left a hole. Since September 2019 we have had water in the basement. Ohio State has been to the house several times. Each time they dig we uncover more areas where the initial job was incomplete. Even their repairs have been inadequate and the amount of water coming into the basement is increasing with every rain. Ohio State has been slow to respond and has yet to resolve the issue. They say the soonest they can have a crew scheduled is September 2020. One year later. In the meantime, we continue to clean up muddy water in the basement after every rain. Our furniture is getting moldy. They argue that they are not responsible to replace flooring or furniture. We would not have invested in these things if we had not been given a lifetime warranty guaranteeing there would be no water in our basement.

Before we had our Basement don by Ohio State Waterproofing our Basement had flooded 2 time. We have not had any issues since it was done, and we have had heavy downpours and flash flooding numerous times. It is worth the peace of mind.
