Back of house done excellently. Front door: I was not happy with result. Manager came over to see 1 hour after I called. Front redone following week; excellent job.

They were very good. The price was less than a competitor's proposal. We were very pleased with their professionalism and knowledge. They added a gutter over our sunroom, that the competitor said they would put a screen over the old gutter, as their system wouldn't fit. All in all,we're glad we hired them.

Overall, the project went extremely well after an initial mixup. I was quoted $3418 initially for the job. I research several other companies including companies that provided various screened solutions versus K-Guards reverse curve. In my research, I found out that the gutter screens would have to be removed if I replaced my roof because they go under the shingles. Consequently, I didn't want to pay an additional labor charge down the road so I elected to go with K-guard because their gutter system doesn't necessarily have to be removed. After this decision, I placed my order with K-Guard and was told that they would install within 2 weeks. Approximately, a week later the salesman called and said he made a mistake on his pricing calculation and the price was significantly more. Obviously, I was not very happy at this point after doing all this research and looking forward to my installation date. After letting the salesman know that I was quite upset, the salesmen when back to the company and they agreed to do the work at the quoted price. Obviously everyone makes mistakes, but the company honored their commitment even though they did not have to since I placed my order several weeks beyond the 30 days the quote was good for. Although I believe this was an unfortunate mistake, K-Guard resolved this issue in an ethical manner. The installation went very well, the crew consulted with me on several matters before moving forward. Their workmanship and cleanup was exemplary. The new gutters look beautiful, they enhanced the home and they worked perfectly in the last two rain storms. My neighbor has had the K-Guard system on him him for several years now and he has not had any problems with it.

They were prompt. Their pricing was what I expected it to be and it was reasonable. They were professional and I am still waiting for them to call me and tell me what they can start of the work.

Once scheduling was nailed down, everything went okay. It appears that the new k-guard gutters are doing what they promised as we are surrounded by huge oak trees and we are enjoying the sounds of acorns bouncing off of the gutters instead of clogging them.

Called K-Guard for estimate on their gutter products. Indicated I was going to have other work done and needed quote. The person I spoke with asked if we would want other quotes for the additional work (siding, roofing). I was frank with her and told her if K-Guard sub contracted the work they would most likely not be competitive on price and there is no need to waste anybody's time. She assured me that they would be competitive and asked to setup an appointment, so I did. The gentleman came out and was explained what was to be done. He indicated that he was not going to be the cheapest and I explained that I was not looking for the cheapest but competitive to others. He assured me he would be competitive. Received the quote a few days later. STICKER SHOCK! This bid was higher than any other I received. They were higher on roofing, higher on siding and higher on gutter guards. In total they were $7k higher than my next highest bid. Nearly $30k in total. Needless to say, this was a waste of time. Especially after I told them that I would not be interested if they were not competitive.

It was an excellent experience. The workers were professional, friendly and the clean up was great.

More than likely we will use this company but not in the very near future. He gave me a basic presentation about his product and he told me the good points of his product versus the other products out there. He was very personable and in terms of the presentation, we were very happy.

They did great work. They had to reschedule at one time, but they called us ahead of time to keep us informed. When they showed up they got everything done, and it was done well.

They gave me a complete breakdown about what I need for an ice back-up prevention system, a new roof and new gutters. I just have to pick out a color and give them the okay but I want to wait for warmer weather. The people were very knowledgable and friendly. I will find out how the gutter guard system will work out in the fall, but they did say that if they do clog they will come out to clean them at no charge.

We received an estimate in a prompt manner and followed by completed work as stated. No complaints.

After the leaky roof was fixed, I wanted to make sure I didn't get another ice dam on the upper portion of the back roof. I also don't want to have to pay someone to clean my gutters. I called K Guard and arranged for them to come out when my roof was fixed. The roofers finally finished and Tim Heckel (the owner) came out before Christmas to do the job. They removed all the gutters and downspouts and put up the new ones in about five hours. Tim was great. He has great pride in his product and is very knowledgeable. They cleaned up any mess ( white gutters in white snow) and made sure if anything breaks that they would fix it. Lifetime guarantee! Now I don't have to clean my gutters and everything drains perfectly.

Every ting was very good. We have had one thunderstorm since and they seemed to take the water just fine. Although I did not compare prices, the price seemed right on. I have no complaints, and think they did everything right.

The gutters are fine. There was a problem on the front of the house where water was coming in between the gutter and roof and was dripping onto the shrubs in the front. They sent someone out and said that the gutters needed to be nailed back in to prevent the gap, so they did nail it back in. The gap disappeared, although it did still leak. I did not pursue it, however, because I realized it was likely because of my flat roof overhang. I went with them because of their price, and I would use them again if I needed the service in the future.

I had a quote from another company. The price quoted by K Guard was much better for the same kind of system.

They were excellent and their product was really good. They were a lot cheaper than their competitor. They came and finished the job in a day and left no mess. Their gutters are maintenance-free and we?ve not had any problems with them.

Bids were solicited from 4 other companies with ?leaf guard? publicity. This company was selected not only because of price but because they had heating coils for ice protection and a superior method of handling water flow into the gutter.
