Great company would use again without hesitation!

Diagnosed the problem with my gas furnace (clogged filter was tripping the limit switch) and repaired the condensate drain. Very satisfied with the service and the technician actually arrived early!

They were recommended to me by a coworker because I wasn’t happy with the previous company I used. I think it was Rick himself who I dealt with. They were on time, courteous and explained everything. They seemed really personable and I was very comfortable with them. They had their sticker on their equipment and that is who I would use from here on. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

I have used him for about 25 years. The people are very courteous and knowledgeable. They do an excellent job.

This is somewhat redundant from above: Rick came out on a Saturday when the fan broke on our air conditioner -- other companies could not fix a fan until Monday when the Trane parts store would next open. Rick found a fan, customized the fan (his source told him an incorrect size), and we had cooling for the VERY HOT AND HUMID weekend. At our request, he gave us a bid on new A/C and furnace (both of our units were 20 yrs. old and inefficient). His prices on new units were competitive or lower than 2 other companies and he was able to install them before we left on a 10 day vacation. His service and attention to our needs was top notch. We hope that we will need little or no service for some years, but trust that Rick would be there for us in a bind. EXCELLENT!!!!

Cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Rick Ogden Heating and Cooling. Turned on A/C for first time of season and was not cooling house. Called another company who had been doing our yearly maintenance for 6 yrs. That company responded same day we called. Repairman stated we needed a new motor--$880 if renewed the yearly service agreement for set period of time, $1034 if not. He recommended replacing the entire unit. He could not give us an estimate on approximate cost of new unit--nor could anyone from the service center. Needed to wait 48 hr for salesman to come to house to "evaluate our needs" and give us an estimate. In meantime called Rick Ogden for second opinion. He was FANTASTIC! Told us over phone he doubted we need new unit. He picked up a motor for us prior to even coming to the house. Gave us estimate on both name brand and generic motor. Was prompt, professional and did not speak poorly of other company. We canceled the appt with the other company and went with Rick. Within another 36 hr our house was cool for $389 for the generic fan (which he said he would use in his own home) and capacitor and $75 for the 2 trips and labor for total of $465. Of note, the other company replaced the capacitor 2 yrs ago for $203. Have a 1 yr warranty on the fan (Rick called the dealer from our home to confirm it was not a 2 yr warranty). Rick believes the unit should last 15-18 yrs. That is what we initially suspected and were skeptical when we were told a 8-9 yr unit needed to be replaced because "things just don't last as long as they used to". We realize this solution could not pan out but felt the substantial cost difference was worth the risk given the age of the unit. Since our experience have talked to 2 other people who currently have their units serviced by Rick Ogden and they have been equally as pleased. .

He only has a few service people. He is local and very conscientious. I think he tells it like it is and I have a lot of faith in him. He isn’t perfect but he’s good.

Very pleased with the work and cost. They were out the same day I called. Gave the furnace and all associated piping a good check out and made some other adjustments. Had the same problem a month earlier and had a different company look at it. They could not find the problem.

I called Ogden after problems with another A/C repair place. They quickly came out, found the problem with my outside unit, and replaced.

Ogden HVAC has done work at our house previously, he came highly recommended by neighbors and always done an excellent job with each issue. We continue to recommend this company to new neighbors.

CALLED OGDEN AND DARRIN CAME SAME DAY - AFTER 5:00. AS PER OUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE, DARRIN WAS PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS, AND COMPETENT.

HE WAS VERY HIGH IN HIS BID. IN A BIG HURRY. WAS NOT FEELING WELL. WE DID NOT HIRE HIM. HE GAVE US AN ESTIMATE OF $84.

RICK HAS SERVICED MY FURNACE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. WHEN THE TANK NEED TO BE REPLACED, HE TRIED TO HELP ME FIND OUT IF IT DID NEED TO BE REPLACED. HE WAS COOPERATIVE WHEN IT WAS NECESSARY TO COORDINATE WITH THE PEOPLE INSTALLING THE TANK. HE HAD TO BE AVAILABLE AT A CERTAIN TIME TO DO THE HOOK UP AND RETURN LATER THAT DAY TO RUN THE LINES IN THE BASEMENT. HE ALWAYS RETURNS MY CALLS PROMPTLY. HE IS THERE TO HELP ME WHEN I NEED HIM.

TECH WAS 15 MINUTES LATER THAN THE 2 HOUR APPOINTMENT WINDOW. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL, AND THOROUGH.

RICK IS ALWAYS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS AND HAS GREAT PRICES. MY FURNACE MOTOR WAS INTERMITTENTLY ACTING UP, AND RICK PATIENTLY WAITED FOR THE MOTOR TO FINALLY ACT UP SO HE COULD DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR IT. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHEN THE FUEL FILTER WAS BEING CLOGGED, HE SUGGESTED THAT HE RETURN IN A MONTH AFTER THE TANK WAS CLEANED JUST TO BE SURE THAT THE NEW FILTER WAS NOT BEING CLOGGED. HE DID THIS FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE.
