Very good!

We hired Jason to do our painting after interviewing him. He was great. All the work was done at the utmost highly professional manner and over an above what we were expecting. His crew was very friendly, courteous, and very prompt. They ever worked on Saturday to complete our job by the deadline promised. They even went the extra measure to care for our 14 year old dog when I was at work. They kept all painting equipment in a staging area and kept the house very clean while working. Jason was very accessible with any questions we had during the job and responded very quickly to our initial contact. If you need any painting done consider Gray Painting. We certainly will use them again!!!

Being a single female homeowner, I am always very careful when choosing home improvement contractors. I must say I was extremely happy that I chose Gray Painting. The work was flawless! And it was refreshing to work with a company that made the disruption of a home improvement job as easy on the homeowner as possible. On the day of the estimate, Jason Gray gave me a detailed proposal, including copies of his workers comp and liability insurance certificates and a list of his business principles. He lived up to every one of them! His crew was experienced, very courteous, always arrived on time, took good care of my property, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The wall prep was very thorough and took care of all the cracks and imperfections on the walls. I have a high, vaulted LR/DR ceiling and lots of windows, and they paid close attention to details and cut-ins so that all the edge work was straight and clean. After the first coat of paint was applied, I was not completely happy with the shade I had selected. Jason encouraged me to switch to a slightly different shade for the second coat (I had to pay for the additional paint, but not additional labor). I was extremely pleased with the final result. Gray Painting is very easy to work with and they do outstanding work!

They arrived on time, did everything requested and finished on time! Completed the project - with minor changes I requested, with proficiency and quality workmanship. We are very pleased with the results.

Jason is professional and courteous. He and his crew communicated well, showed up on time, did good work, and cleaned at the end of every day. Whenever I pointed out something I thought might need addressed, Jason was on top of it. The process was very smooth, and I've used enough contractors to realize just how rare that can be. I waited a year to give this review, just to make sure the paint job held up for a bit, and it still looks great. If you need the outside of your home painted, I'd strongly recommend giving Jason a call.

First of all, in this day and age I find it very rare that I would make a personal recommendation of a service provider, as they most all seem to fail in one area or another. Gray Painting will not disappoint you. Jason is a very fine man, and is a pleasure doing business with. They are very prompt, they do very good quality work, and clean up so you can't even tell they were there. After doing one job for us, we have used him two other times and will continue to use them. They are busy so don't wait until the last minute. They are busy because they do excellent work.

Jason Gray and his painters were punctual, respectful, and professional. We had the dining room painted with stripes above the chair rail with the same color using different sheens. The result exceeded our expectations! The half bath walls required more prep work than anticipated. They went above and beyond by painting the ceiling and trim in the bathroom too. It looks MUCH better! We had used Jason previously and were thrilled with the results. This project was no different. We will use Jason Gray for our next painting project and we HIGHLY recommend him for yours!

We had a great experience working with this company from start to finish. Jason quickly provided a detailed estimate for both one coat and two coats because we had a limited budget. The estimate was reasonable for the work required. He let us use paint that we already purchased, which some painters won't allow. Jason let us know when the work would start, which was accurate. The painting looks great and the painters cleaned up everything when they finished. When we received the invoice after the work was complete, it was discounted because the work did not take as long as originally estimated. That's the right way to do business - honest, friendly, and responsive. We won't hesitate to use Gray's in the future.

We interviewed and received quotes from five highly-rated painting companies on Angie's List. Gray Painting came back as the second highest quote, but had included materials in the quote that were add-ons to other quotes. We also liked that Jason, the owner, would be on site with his team as much as possible. We are completely satisfied with the professionalism and work ethic of Jason and his team. We hired them to paint all the first floor rooms and hallways in our home and the ceiling in five rooms. The foyer and great room have an 18' ceiling which is quite a challenge, but Jason's team handled the tall walls carefully and neatly. There was a total of six different paint colors used and we decided we didn't like aroom's color after the first coat had been applied to all the walls. Jason and his team were very gracious about the color change and very attentive to ensuring we were happy with the final color in each room. When we did the original walk-through, Jason had pointed out several areas that needed repair; from water damage on a ceiling and wall to popped nails, lifting tape, and damaged corners. All of the problem areas were completely repaired and the walls look the best they ever have. Jason and his team cleaned up as they moved from wall to wall and did a thorough pick up and pack up each evening. They reviewed all areas to ensure any paint splatters or drywall compound were wiped away. If we saw something they had missed, they immediately took care of it when we pointed it out. Because the work was done during Christmas and New Year's Eve, we had some gaps in the work schedule, but no gaps in the Gray team's punctuality, professionalism, and great work ethic. So happy we chose them.

Gray painting particularly Jason (owner) was very professional in his method of explaining the process from set up to final paint. His team's attention to detail was noteworthy. They were punctual, considerate,and most of all very accurate in how they performed. We would highly recommend Gray painting to anyone desiring to upgrade the beauty of their home. Jason made the process very smooth and seamless and did not interrupt the basic operations of the home. They ensured the work area was clean and tidy each and every day prior to their departure.

We were extremely pleased with Jason and his crew. They could not have been more professional and pleasant to have around. They cleaned up every evening which was important, since they were here for over 2 weeks. They also painted 2 upstairs bathrooms and a few other small rooms. We would definitely recommend him as well as his crew.

I had the advantage of seeing Jason Gray and his crew do a job at my place of employment before I hired him to paint my house. I was impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of his entire crew while the work was being done and with the excellent quality of the finished project. He did the painting at my house with the same professionalism and excellent quality. I especially appreciated that he made a number of small repairs (e.g., replacing deteriorated soffit and trim molding) as part of the painting job and was very careful not to drip paint onto my shingles, bricks and plants. I was impressed that, although the proposal called for only one coat of paint, his crew painted a second coat on some areas because Mr. Gray was not satisfied with the finish. Moreover, the original scope called for painting the 20-year-old aluminum siding; but the power washing was so effective that painting it proved unnecessary. Mr. Gray communicated very well, kept us well advised on when he had our work scheduled, and was prompt in keeping to his schedule, even when having to work around some squirrelly weather. His price was very good--I had expected to pay more for work of this scope and quality. I would definitely use Gray Painting again if I had a need to do so, and would recommend this company without hesitation or reservation.

Jason was an easy person to work with. His crew was very pleasure to have in your home. They did a great job. The repair of my ceilings was flawless. They clean any mess they made and always was respectful of my home.

We had a great experience with Gray Painting. When we received the estimate, they suggested we wait a few weeks to ensure the weather was warm enough to paint the outside of the door with the best results. They did the bulk of the painting in one day and came back at our convenience to put on second coats and weather stripping. Our door looks fabulous and the steps and railings make us want to paint the rest of the house. We will definitely use Gray Painting again!

The job went very well. Jason and his crew began on time, and tried very hard to minimize any inconvenience from the re-arranging of furniture and other belongings while the job was being done. They ask questions throughout the job, to make sure we were aware of our options. They did a lot of prep work to make sure the finished job would look first rate, and if a section did not come out perfect, they repaired the defects and repainted to get the best results possible. The baseboard job was done using top shelf materials installed by an excellent carpenter. Cleanup and furnitiure arranging were excellent. They were masters at repairing damaged surfaces to new condition. We are very happy with the job, and feel we were charged a fair price. The impression I had was that Gray Painting is meticulous, well priced, and will be the painting company I use in the future. i would highly recommend Gray Painting.

After being extremely happy with a previous job Gray Painting had done for us (condo interior), we hired them to paint the exterior of our 24 year old home. The last date we had the trim and shutters painted was approxiamately 20 years ago, long over due. As the job began with the pressure washing, I became a bit concerned with the weather, rain and turning cold. Jason (Gray Painting) and I decided on a game plan to continue with the job. He assured me, we could use another type of paint that would allow the paint to adhere to aluminum siding at a colder temp.and be fine. Since Gray's guarantee's their work, I was assured if they thought the job would be in jeopardy due to weather change, they would not proceed, but wait until next spring. We decided to proceed, with a plan in motion. Due to the outside temperature the start day depended on the weather. When the crew came out, they dried off the surface were needed because of dew, and would start working in a dry, sunny area of the house. Since we knew the weather may be against us, the crew worked diligently the sunny days to offset the rainy days. If the start time was later, they would stay later to make up for time lost in the a.m., As I was at home, I know they all worked energetically, meticulously, didn't rush, but did a proper, thorough job. They were always on time, cleaned up the area each day, very courteous and professional. The quality of the work performed by Gray Painting was excellent. He supervised his crew along with working beside them, great teamwork, between owner and crew. The crew was always polite, and wanted to make sure we were pleased with their work too ! I hired Gray after asking around about painter's in the area in early August (2 011). A local business owner had one of Gray's business cards in his store and mentioned he used Gray Painting for his home and was very happy with the job that was done. After hearing this, I called Gray Painting for an estimate. I had two previous estimates and wanted a third. I met with Jason (Gray Painting) and told him what I needed done. Jason, submitted a bid, and after I reviewed and compared his quote to the two others,his bid was in line with the budget we had for the entire job. His estimate was very clear, stated the jobs which would be done and the cost per job. This estimate included the cost of materials. Prior to the start date, I met with Jason, we went over everything again, so we knew we were on the same page. At that time I gave him the color sample I had selected, and we made our selection of the type of paint which would be used for each room. While they were painting, I requested a couple additional things be done, which wasn't a problem. They are very flexible, and customer satisfaction is important to them. I was so pleased with everything when all was completed. After being extremely happy with the condo, we asked for an estimate to paint the exterior of our home. Jason arrived on a pre-arranged afternoon to meet and get an estimate for painting exterior and downspouts. He was clean, professional, and provided estimate referances, proof of insurance, and answered all of my questions. He showed up to do the work on time and did all work as agreed in written quote. I was very satisfied.
