Gray Painting

Very well. Brian, the painter, was here for a full day and completed everything we asked him to. We supplied the paint. Everything looks great, especially the areas of two door frames that our late cat had scratched .

Jason and his team did a top-notch job on their project for us. The exterior of our house needed to be repainted. Jason was quick to give us a quote when we requested it. He was in communication with us on the timing of when the project would begin (there were several rain delays). Once the project started they were dedicated to our project and were very professional. They did a great job prepping, pressure washing, scraping off old peeling paint, caulking around windows, and even fixing a few spots where some of the wood had rotted. We were very happy with how everything turned out! I would highly recommend Jason and his team!

Rooms look great! Second time I have worked with Jason and his crew, and will do again. The team was on time, did a great job, and the rooms look wonderful. Punctual, professional and easy to work with.

We received multiple estimates for our interior painting job which included ceiling, trim, and walls for the entire first floor of our home. They also removed a relatively small amount of wallpaper below the chair rail in our dining room. The estimates were wildly divergent. Although Gray was among the higher estimates that we received, we ultimately selected them because they were willing to remove a limited amount of wallpaper and included labor to thoroughly prep the walls (including skimming some areas where there was a very rough finish where previous owners removed cabinets). We could not be happier with the results! The work crew from Gray reliably came at the same time every day, took an hour lunch at a predictable time, and left predictably at 5:00 each day. The team was respectful and I was very comfortable leaving them at my home when I wasn't around. They cleaned up at the end of each day so that we could use our kitchen in the evening. I have never seen a team of contractors work so **** ** a job and take such pride in their work. If I had to use one word to describe them, it would be PERFECTIONISTIC. I'm glad that we went with a team of painters as opposed to someone working solo, as our job took 6 days to complete. Close to half of that time was spent prepping the walls/trim for painting. I would absolutely choose Gray Painting to meet any of our future painting needs and I have personally recommended them to family and friends.

Jason and his company are excellent. They are skilled professional painters who do an excellent job at a very competitive price. They are very neat, work promptly, show up when scheduled and, will offer constructive opinions on how to tackle some projects when you're not exactly sure how to proceed. Also, we've found that really no job is too small and they will return to do touch up if requested. In other words, a great family owned and operated full service painting company.

After contacting a number of contractors to get estimates for this job, I chose Gray Painting because I thought the proposal I received from Jason Gray, owner/operator of Gray Painting, sounded like it had the best plan for prep work for the job. This was important to me since properly preparing the surface to be painted is a big factor in ending up with a good paint job. Also, Gray's price was in line with the quote from the contractor who offered what I thought was the second-best prep plan, and I was favorably impressed with the timeliness of correspondence with Jason (quote given at the time of initial visit, phone calls always returned by the end of the next business day). As for the work done on this job, two men came on the day the project was scheduled to begin, and they worked diligently to scrape and sand (used an orbital sander) to remove the peeling paint and years of accumulated dirt and grime. (The paint was too far gone to power wash; there would have been paint chips blasted everywhere, and it would have gotten the exposed wood underneath all wet.) After scraping and sanding, they brushed off the loose paint chips and dust from sanding, and then they applied a coat of oil-based primer. (Jason had said they would use an oil-based primer to help stop the nails from rusting through the paint again.) Lastly they applied Sherwin-Williams acrylic latex paint. They were able to get most of the job done in one day; Jason came by himself the next day and finished up what was left to be done. Everyone was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and readily answered any questions I had. They all put tarps down before they started work to keep from getting paint chips/sanding dust or fresh paint on the ground/driveway as they worked. And I don't think they got any paint on the brick walls at all. It has now been almost a year since they painted, and it all still looks great. I would highly recommend Gray Painting.

Jason and his crew did a great job painting our house. The house looks great and they did a thorough job prepping before painting. Jason communicates effectively and quickly responds to texts and e:mails. We will certainly use Gray Painting in the future.

The house looks beautiful. Jason and his crew are very professional. Their painting is meticulous, and Jason does everything he can to make sure his customers are happy. Plus, I know from previous jobs that he has done for me, that he stands behind his work. If a problem ever arises, you need only call him and he will make it right.

This is very professional team. They are very neat and thorough with their work. They also repair stress cracks and patching very well.

They did a wonderful time. Everyone was on time, the work was spectacular, pricing was very reasonable and the house was put back the way it was before the work started. They also fixed all the drywall issues (nails starting to protrude out,etc) before painting. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
