This was a very disappointing experience. I had five roofers come out to bid the job for our roof and narrowed it down to this company. Ray Matre seemed relatively knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. We worked on the project plan and got to an equitable price and he had a great workmanship warranty. Ray was not the cheapest, but I am willing to pay more for what I perceive as a more thorough and professional end product/service. What ultimately ended up happening is I could not get Ray to call me back after we agreed on the project scope and price. I'm not sure why. He may have underbid the job or got too busy, but we had an agreement and he had no intention of calling me back. So, despite me making about half a dozen calls back to him and his partner Amanda (I spoke to Amanda a couple times) and several voicemails I could not get him to answer or call me back. Finally, I called him from an anonymous number and he answered. He seemed surprised a little when he heard my voice. He told me he had been very busy and was not able to call me back. He also told me that he was getting a lot of calls from insurance adjusters so he was not answering a lot of calls, but he did not have an explanation for why he was not getting my voice mails. I asked him if he wanted the work or not and he replied that he no longer wanted to do the carpentry work that we had agreed to, but he would do the rest of the roof once I got that done. I consider myself a decent judge of character, but unfortunately I was wrong. My biggest concern at the end of the day was not that he wouldn't do the carpentry work, but rather was this: What good is a workmanship warranty if I can't get the company to call me back? If the company won't call me back during the sales process they're certainly not going to call me back on a product or workmanship warranty issue.

Excellent company, great communication skills. They provided a quote of $225 and did a fantastic job of repairing the buckled shingles. They even used shingles from the back part of the roof to match the ones in the front since the color of shingles on our house aren't available anymore. It's those little details that go a long way.

Ray was very personable in visiting the house and discussing what was needed, and prompt in providing his proposal. He promised a lot - and delivered on all of his promises.Workers were diligent and hard-working even in the excessive heat of this July. Very friendly. Maintained a clean site. Very careful in doing the tear-off to protect house, windows and condensing unit. Totally fair with portions of work bid as unit-price work. Handled unexpected conditions without complaint and without claim for 'extras' at every turn. Had a strong initiative to 'do things right'.As an architect I have seen many different attitudes from contractors. Ray and his entire operation get and deserve my highest praise for their work ethic and their performance.

It went very well. The work was completed in about 2 hours and we haven't had an issue since.

They did a really good job. The service techs were professional and punctual, but the customer service as far as dealing with the lady in the office for scheduling the actual service appointment was ridiculously difficult.

Work was done while I was at work and was billed later. Great service and great work.

Ray and his staff did an excellent job on our roof repair. They came and completed the shingled roof quickly and were very careful in their clean up. They also did an excellent job on the coating but it took over two months for them to get the job finished. They did for the most part keep us advised all along the way and much of the delay was weather related. We were concerned as the coating used could not be applied when temperatures dipped below 40. Ray and several workers did come and work on a warm November weekend including Sunday to make sure the job got done before winter really set in.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of Fasten Pro Roofing. They did a really great job, in a timely fashion and at a competitive price. We had both hail and wind damage to our 13 year old roof and contacted 5 different reputable contractors. There was even one company that pretty much had the job from the beginning because we had used them in the past for repair work and they were honest with us but we ended up chosing Fasten Pro because Ray Matre actually showed up at our house to meet the Insurance Adjuster 3 times. The adjuster cancelled twice at the last minute but Ray was here waiting and willing to do the work. He never once had anything negative to say about his competitors which also impressed us. We have owned 5 houses over the years but we have never had to replace a roof. The cost, choices and methods of replacement at times felt totally overwhelming. We did our homework and asked every question we could think of and Ray patiently answered all of our questions and provided the necessary documentation to back everything up. The crew showed up as promised, and did a great job. While they were roofing they noticed the trim on the front of our dormers was cracked and took it upon themselves to replace and paint it at no cost to us. The yard was cleaned up on a daily basis and much to our surprize while doing yard work after completion of our new roof I never found even one piece of debris or a roofing nail. This is a very impressive company providing extremely high quality work and we would highly recommend them.

My company has been in business for a long time and we think their quality service and price are fantastic. They blow away the competition and we never have any call backs. I had less expensive bids for the job. Their online ratings and recommendations from others is what affected my decision. Ray knows the trade and was able to respond to all my questions. The (English speaking) crew started and finished the job on time. The results were as expected with no surprises. The cleanup and final inspection confirmed that I made the right choice of roofing contractor. I recommend Fasten-Pro Roofing without any reservations.

From the begining to the end the company was on time professional.

They did a very good job and cleaned up after the same. They were polite and very attentive. They took pride and ownership in the work they were doing. I like their services a lot and will use the same in future.

I thought they were very honest. They gave a good and responsive quote. I had called at least 5 different companies for a quote. Of the 5 only 1 gave me as good a quote and was as responsible in wanting my business as Fasten-Pro. But this company was the lowest price. One tried to tell me I needed a new roof. I got up on the roof myself and did not think I needed a new roof. The quality was good.

Overall this was a great experience. The gentelman that came out to give us the estimate answered all my questions which were a lot because this was the first roof that we have had to replace. When picking out the type of shingles we were given information on benefits of each type and some watchouts for some of the lower quality shingles. We were never pressured to pick the "most expensive" shingle, we were given the information so that we could make an informed decision. The employees were all very nice and considerate. At the end, the clean-up was amazing! When the crew was done, the owner of the company was on the roof checking their work and making sure things were correct. He also did a final clean-up pass, which was nice to see an owner taking such a hands on approach. They also dealt with our insurance company quite effectively. They had no problem talking to them directly. It was a great experience.

They are a smaller company, so you get to talk to the actual owner. They do not use subcontractors. It is nice to deal directly with the company. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.
