I contacted this company to get an estimate for the repair of two chimneys in my home. I was told that they would only give me an estimate if I paid $129.99 per chimney. I was also told that this fee would not be credited if I had them do the repair work. I already had one estimate for free. In addition, the woman who answered the phone was condescending and rude. I will never call this company again for anything.

They did the work very quickly and the same day they gave me the estimate. They did very high quality work as far as I know. I would recommend them and use them again.

I contacted the company to set up an appointment. I have used them before. They sent out a person on the appointment date. He went up on the roof checked all of the caps for stability and the screens. He took some digital pictures of the chimney crowns. One had some extensive mold and cracks. The other one had more substantial wear and tear. We had him clean off the mold and excess debris out of the cracks and had him put on a crown sealant and chimney water repellent. We requested an estimate on the more damaged crown.

This was a very good experience. The gentleman who came to my house called to say he was coming and confirm my address. He arrived on time and got right to work. After his inspection, he indicated that the chimney didn't need to be cleaned, and he explained why and showed me why he thought I was fine for now. He did let me know about some work on the outside, up by the roof, that needs to be taken care of, and offered their services for that. He saved me about $60 by being honest and letting me know I didn't need to have the chimney cleaned at this time.

They are a local family business and really great with.

They answer their phone, they were very friendly, they were prompt, they came when they said they would, and as far as I know they did a good job.

All went well. Showed up on time and did the work. He gave me various options I could try for replacement of the prefab unit.

Jeff came out to inspect the room and the existing chimney prior to the purchase. When the crew came they were friendly, put down drop cloths to protect our floors and carpet and clean-up before leaving. It was good working with them.

They came when expected & called on the way to make sure we were here. The gentleman was pleasant, competent, & cleaned up after he had completed his work.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN GIVING ORIGINAL INFORMATION FOR DECISION PURPOSES. THEY INSTALLED THE INSERT ONE MONTH EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED SO THEY WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING. INSTALLATION AND FOLLOW UP WAS EXCELLENT. COMMUNICATION WAS VERY GOOD AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS.

I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE MY CHIMNEY SWEPT AT THE RECOMMENDATION OF MY BUILDING INSPECTOR AND WAS QUOTED ABOUT $90. THE REPRESENTATIVE ARRIVED LATE. LOOKED AT MY CHIMNEY AND SAID I DIDN'T NEED IT TO BE SWEPT. HE ANSWERED MY FIREPLACE RELATED QUESTIONS ABOUT PROPER OPERATION AND CHARGED ME $75. I DIDN'T HAVE MY GLASSES ON AT THE TIME AND I THOUGHT IT READ $45 WHEN I SIGNED THE PAPER. I BELIEVE THE PRICE IS UNREASONABLE WHEN THE SWEEPING IS ONLY AN ADDITIONAL $15.

SHANE, THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN, WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL AND INFORMATIVE. HE EXPLAINED ALL MY OPTIONS AS WELL AS GIVING HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE USE AND MAINTENANCE OF MY FIREPLACE. EVERY ASPECT OF THE EXPERIENCE WARRANTS AN A+ . I DEFINITELY PLAN TO MAKE USE OF THE SERVICE ON A YEARLY BASIS.

REBUILT FLUE SLIGHTLY OFF CENTER AND HAD TO ADD TO WALL ON ONE SIDE TO MAKE THE NEW MANTEL LOOK ON CENTER.

SHANE PROVIDED THE SERVICE, WAS VERY HONEST WITH WHAT NEEDED DONE AND PROVIDED WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE. IF YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR HOME ON THE MARKET, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. SHANE JOHNSTON DID THE WORK AND WAS VERY CLEAN, AND QUICK.
