They were out right away, they're good at what they do, and the guy knows what he is doing. They are well regarded here. They just know what they are doing. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I would use them again.

Chimney was in good shape and did not need cleaning. Suitable for gas logs which we will be purchasing from them.

On time. Very quick. (I would have liked to have had a video inspection, but I assume he did what was needed.)

The young man who came out was running ahead of schedule and called and asked if he could come early. That was fine with us. He went right to work and got the job done quickly. The B rating for Price is because I thought $181 (that was with a $10 coupon) for 30 minutes was high. The B for Quality is because he did leave soot on the tile in front of the fireplace that we had to wipe up. He suggested that we need to replace the chase because it is rusted. He estimated the cost for that would be about $600 - $800. Again, that seemed pretty high. We told him we would consider it and get back to him.

He gave us a good service for the price and we are very glad that we called this company. He also got up on the roof and checked and photographed both chimneys, showed us how the logs are disassembled, checked for gas leaks and that the O2 sensors worked, gave us a lot of good information.

They were very efficient, professional, and courteous. They had quick response and service.

I contacted this company based on reviews from other Angie's customers, and the reports were spot-on--these guys are great. Shane came out to conduct an evaluation and sweep because our house inspector said the damper wasn't working and there was nesting debris in the chimney. Shane fixed the damper but determined that, because it's an old, unlined chimney, we would be well-advised to think about installing gas. He did not hard-sell anything and gave me information on all of our options. In addition, we had been considering removing the current tilework and framing, and he was happy to share his thoughts about the best way to go about doing that, the pros and cons and options, etc. He was incredibly nice, very thorough, and I did not feel pressured to make any decisions regarding the next steps. I unequivocally recommend them.

Polite, prompt and I didn't feel like I got ripped off. He said the stove was old, but in good working order. Made a suggestion that I upgrade if I were going to use it frequently, but otherwise, I was good to go for the winter!

Jeff K was fantastic, he called when he was on his way to verify I was home he then covered the floors around the fireplace and started work. He cleaned and inspected my chimney. AFter he was done he showed me picture of my chimney cap and made suggestions for a new crowncoat and provided me an estimate for this work. He was not pushy in any way about getting this work done and left me the estimate as well as the xplanation. In addition I had questions about fireplace inserts and he answered those and left me information behind to look at. I will call them every year for my chimney cleaning!

I was happy with the service, but since nothing was done except an inspection, I don't have much of a basis for evaluation beyond the price.

The technician called when he was on his way. He was clean and efficient. He gave recommendations without being pushy and was reasonably priced.

We were not using our chimney because we thought birds were living in it. Called this company to inspect and do a cleaning if necessary. The birds were actually sitting on top of the protective cap, but their calls were echoing down the chimney. Jeff the technician was very thorough in checking out all possible points of entry and also indicated via inspection that there were no signs of birds in the chimney. The chimney did not need sweeping, so he only charged us for the service visit. I will definitely call them again in the future!

The technician was very helpful in evaluating the pros/cons of either installing a vented system or replacing our current ventless system. I feel he was honest and offered a lot of helpful information to assist us in making our decision. He gave us a written estimate for each option.

They did a great job! They were very good. They were very thorough and helpful. They took pictures. We were impressed with them. The price was reasonable for the amount of work that they did. They spent a lot of time looking over the chimney, taking pictures, and giving us a written report about what was wrong with it. That was very helpful. We have had other companies come and try to fix the problem, but they misdiagnosed it. He was the first one to actually find the problem.

They were right on target with the price and took care of what we needed and were great. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave a mess.

We purchased our home this year and I called to get it evaluated to see if it needed to be cleaned since I had no idea when it was done last. I was able to schedule the appointment on the day/time I asked for and they called a day or two before to confirm as well as the technician calling me in the morning to tell me he was on his way. Jeff was extremely polite and professional, explained everything he was looking at and why. It turned out I did not need to have the chimney cleaned because it was ok. Jeff did recommend we get waterproofing done on the outside of the chimney in the future due to some mildew and moss growth that has started - he gave me the information on the process and an estimate for it if we choose to have it done ( I would have had him go ahead and do it but it was raining so he couldn't apply the product). He discussed what types of issues I should keep an eye out for in the future. Overall a great experience.
