Description of Work: The service man looked at our chimney and noted that it was absolutely clean. He showed me a picture. He said he would be happy to clean it but that it did not need it. He charged me nothing for his time. He was very professional as well.

Description of Work: I had not had the chimney cleaned in about 5 years. We only have fires about 10 times a year, but I wasn't sure if I needed it or not. I thought the safest thing to do was to get it evaluated. I called Chimney Care to check it out. I got a call from the office to remind me of the appointment, however on the day of the appointment, they had someone call in sick. They rescheduled me for the next day. The chimney guy explained how they charged one price to evaluate the chimney and then if it needed to be swept, the evaluation fee went towards the total price. My chimney did not need to be swept. He did find that a fair amount of mortar was gone from between several of the bricks. He repaired that. He was very neat and tidy and took great care not to get any dirt on the carpet.

Description of Work: The job was to install a stainless steel chimney liner as repair for tiles damaged in a chimney fire. Jeff and John arrived on time, were polite, friendly, informative, and very professional. They covered surrounding surfaces, and were careful to vacuum dust as they worked. A very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend the company.
