Response from Deck Rescue LLC
This review regrettably shows that not all Angie's List clients are cut from the same cloth. We never even worked with this particular client -- it was his spouse with whom we had all communications. Therefore, he is most likely getting inaccurate secondhand information. His wife informed us they had an urgent situation: The City of Cleveland gave them a fast-approaching deadline to restore their two fences, totaling over 6,000 sq ft. We responded immediately, even putting them ahead of other estimates in our queue. We also offered a discount if she wished to have both restored at once. Furthermore, we offered generous payment terms, which is not something we often do. We traded voicemails with one another (yes, our calls to THEM went to voicemail as well), which is why there was a need for multiple calls. Nobody in our office was badgering them. This is just an all-around unfair, unprofessional, undeserved negative review from these members. That being said, we will take "F" ratings all day long from folks who wish to criticize us for being conscientious, attentive and professional. I am 100% certain their calls to other contractors may have gone unreturned, as is often the case within our industry. Kudos to my Northwest Cuyahoga County territory for being on top of their game in this situation. An absolute exemplary example of exquisite customer service by them! --Dave Hydock, President & Founder
