It's good as it can be. It's fine. They let you know ahead of time, they send an email or phone and let you know that they're coming. Our lawn is fine. It is nice and green.

For the most part the grass was very good and they took care of the weeds. The shrubs look pretty good put I had some issues with them about some trees that they tried to make right and I have to give them credit for that.

I've had a wonderful experience with them. It's the technician who makes all the difference and I have been very fortunate because I have a severe problem in my yard and he has been tackling this for the last two or three years and did an outstanding job. It's $51 to do a very large yard and I think it's fair. They do come back if I encounter any problems at no cost. TruGreen is a huge company and I'm not giving "A" to every single TruGreen in America; I'm only giving it to the technician who services my property.

For what I pay, I think I'm getting a fairly good deal. They're excellent. My yard is looking okay and I'm satisfied. I pay $40 a visit.

We had a problem with the account with them. We used them for two years and their service was good. Sometimes their departments do not talk to each other. It turned out that my tenants were not aware of them coming and told them to go so, they cancelled our account. Their customer service could use some improvement. They come to our rental property once a month. So far, this year, we have not had any problems. They are very professional.

They are great. I renew with them every year. I have the full package and I prepay every year. I am very happy with them. I recommend the company. They are very responsive. I live on a golf course and when I have had weeds pop up behind my property and the tall grass of the golf course grows, they have been able to go out and take care of those things for me. If I happen to notice anything like any bugs on my plants I just call them and they take care of it.

I had a good experience with them. They do an excellent job in keeping your grass green and weeds out. My grass is beautiful; they took it from not really fantastic to among the nicest yard as far as grass is concern in the neighborhood.

They have taken care of our lawn for many years and do a great job! I am not so happy with their tree and shrub service, but would recommend their lawn service. They will come out anytime you call them to trace care of any specific problem with the lawn that pops up between treatments. The rating below is for lawn service.

The gentleman who provided the service was very thorough and polite.

I live on Berkshire and northwest in Columbus OH and there is major changes on the road keeping my lawn-cutter away. last year the lawn looked much better.

They are very professional. I have different person come out each time. They are all very cordial and informative. We have pets and they let us know to keep the pets inside. They provide timely advice. They came at decent time. Their schedule is on time so I know what they do. I made one payment for a whole year of service.

What I really like about them was the selection of materials, and the prices were excellent! If we needed delivery, they have a delivery service that's reasonably priced. The people there was just really nice to work with. I would highly recommend them.

We have had bad experiences with them in the past. We were supposed to have our lawn treated on 8/22/13. The lawn specialist called and told us he could not fit us in his schedule for the day. I asked when it would be done. He said he did not know that the computer would reschedule it. I waited a week and called back on 8/30/2013. There was no record of anyone rescheduling our lawn service. It was then scheduled for 9/6/13 and someone was supposed to call me within 24 business hours.. We then received a call from the specialist on the 6th in the evening saying he had been at our hour at 8 a.m. and the gate was locked. 8:00 am. Can anyone vouch for that? We were gone to work and no one has ever shown up at 8:00 a.m in all the years we did use this company. So I told him this and he said he could not do us on Saturday because he had personal things going on. Then he said he could fit us in on Monday, the 9th. OK, Monday came and went and no sprayer. I have tried to call the North Office numerous times. The lines are always busy and you get transferred to a satellite office in NY or Massachusetts. All they can do is take down information and forward it. I was assured a manager would call me on my cell phone. I have not heard a word from anyone. What good is a lawn care company if you cannot depend on them to spray or treat your grass on time and can't get hold of them in between. I would not use them again and would not recommend them. There are several other neighbors in the neighborhood with the same problems.

I'm very satisfied with them. I usually have them come once a month and its fifty something every month. It looks great. They are thorough and I've never had to call them for anything. They are friendly if I'm here and I see them. I even recommended them to the neighbor next door because she keeps lamenting the fact that my grass is greener so I think she is going to take the service coming fall. I think their price is fair and reasonable for me. I haven’t seen any reason to complain about them. They seem to know what they are doing.

Horrible experience! Not sure if their product works because they never showed up!! I requested an estimate via the website on or about July 5th. Someone called me back the next day to set up service. I was informed that a technician would be out to my residence in 5-7 working days. On July 22nd I called to check the status of my service as they had still not been out to treat my lawn. I was informed that I was scheduled for Monday, July 29th, but they would gladly bump that up to July 25th since they never came out the first time. Well, today is July 25th..... I was home all day. My husband saw the Trugreen service truck within a block of our home more than once today. When they had not shown up by 4:30 today I called customer service. They assured me that someone had been here & there should be a flag in the yard & invoice on the door. Neither were there. Customer service told me that the technician would call me immediately. I waited 2 hours for that phone call (no call) then called customer service again. This time I just told them to cancel my service!

Scotts has TERRIBLE customer service. They are HORRIBLE. We moved in 2 years ago, and the yard was sort of a mess, so we hired Scotts to help us with our lawn treatment. First of all, we have a gated back yard. I would assume that lawn treatment companies would encounter this type of situation frequently, but apparently it's a problem that is just too difficult for Scotts to handle. After several times of them showing up with no notice and not treating the lawn because they couldn't get in the backyard (which we told them about and asked them to notify us so we could unlock it for them) we called again and asked that they call us prior to coming out to treat so we could unlock the back gate. They would call - say there were coming in 1-2 business days, we would leave the gate unlocked, and they would never show. 10 days later (and I'm not exaggerating) we would find a note on our door saying they came to treat but couldn't get in. FRUSTRATING. Do they want our money or not? Finally, toward the end of the first summer, they seemed to get their act together, so we decided to give them another chance this summer. MISTAKE!! They showed up and treated once in March, said they would be back in a few weeks, and never showed up. After contacting customer service, they tell me that they have to have "verbal consent" before they can come out to treat, and that they have called us multiple times and we never got back with them. They have NEVER called us since they treated in March. I don't know if they have too much business to handle or what, but we will not be using them going forward. We now have WEEDS in our yard because Scotts has not been out in months.

When we began using them, they turned our lawn which was full of weeds into very thick grass. We had used another provider who seemed to make things worse, but Scott's treatments showed immediate results.

Very timely and everything has been fine.

They leave a recording letting us know when they are going to come out and spray. I am normally not home when they come, they just bill me. I do not have any concerns.

They really try to push their program by steps. They were pushing six rounds but I have actually cut it down to four. That is all we need here. The quality of work is okay. I get a call before they come out, so they are very responsive that way. They respond to my request.

If anything goes wrong they'll always try to repair it. I've used them for 15 years.
