It went very well. He was right on time for the estimate visit and for the installation visit. I love the new "drawers" and will have more done later on. I had an Angie's List Coupon.

The experience was awesome; I loved it. It really is nice. They wanted to make sure I was comfortable with what they were doing. I had all the power to tell them how deep I wanted the shells and how separate I wanted them. They did exactly what I wanted. They were great.

It went great! I wasn't sure exactly what the deal was going to get me, but I had a plan of incremental priorities of what I wanted. Michael was very helpful, and we worked through my best options with a balance of the quality I wanted and the amount of money I was able to spend. His communication was excellent, and he was very punctual the two times he came out (consultation and install). Also very professional and easy to work with, relaxed and not at all pushy or high pressure sales-wise. Today was the install (which went VERY quickly and efficiently) and my shelves are perfect. He made sure they were spaced and fit to hold exactly what I wanted on each shelf, double checking with me as he put each one in. I am VERY satisfied and would not hesitate to do more business with Shelf Genie if I come up with more money for great shelves. :-)

The product is good and the quality was excellent, but the $199 did not even cover one pull out cupboard shelf. To do pull out shelves in one cupboard was $575 in total (with the Big Deal). I did get a higher quality material, but even still I feel the pricing is high.

The came out on Saturday morning and installed them. It looked great and my wife was very happy.

I purchased an AL big deal. $199 for $500 in custom glide out shelving. Prior to purchasing I was aware that each cabinet could cost approximately $500 so I was prepared for the high price. We have a Dominion built home with the typical cabinets that have the stiles (piece of wood between cabinet doors). The design makes getting pots and pans in and out cumbersome at best. I saw this product displayed at the home and garden show last year. However, I also thought we would have remodeled by now. Since it will be a few years before remodeling, I was willing to spend some money to make at least one cabinet more functional for the next few years - especially since a big deal was offered. My cabinet is a very standard size, not large by any standard. However, the cost still exceeded $500. I had to pay an additional $138.91 over and above the big deal. Part of the additional cost was the stile removal. There is a significant cost for stile removal. It's not itemized on my receipt, but it's in the range of $125 per cabinet. In order to keep the cost down I had to choose the lowest quality and least nice looking drawers with no upgrades. The glide on the cheapest option is built in China. The other drawer options are much nicer with a much nicer glide and the warranty is longer. However, since I will be remodeling in 3-5 years, I couldn't justify the additional price. I was hoping the experience would be so blissful that I might be able to avoid purchasing custom cabinets for my remodel and then could possibly use this company for a more standard cabinet build. However, the cost is so high that it's better to have the cabinets custom built with all of the bells and whistles. This is a good option if you plan on keeping your current cabinets for a long time and don't mind spending thousands of dollars. However, finding someone to remove the stiles in the same manner as this company would make me just as blissfully happy and would make all of the cabinets much more useful. Much of the problem, in terms of the usefulness of the cabinet is the that the stile is in the way of everything. The drawers are nice, but seem to be very, very expensive for what you are getting. I'm most surprised by the cost of the stile removal and was told that it could take about an hour per cabinet. The total amount of install time including stile removal on my project was 45 minutes. I'd recommend this company but be aware it is a very costly upgrade for the amount of labor it takes to install and the product you receive.

Mike was very professional and nice. He was prompt and was easy to contact. The only issue was that the service estimate was much greater than expected and significantly more than alternatives/competitors.

It went very well. Michael looked at all our problem areas and told us what he could - and couldn't - do for us. He sent John over to verify measurements before beginning the install. John actually completed the work and he was wonderfully professional: tidy, competent, calm, systematic, and thorough. He completed the entire install in one day, and never even took a break to eat! He managed to rebuild some of our biggest problems: two banks of deep drawers that left us with alot of unusable space. We'd been thinking we'd have to purchase new cabinets but that wasn't ideal since we'd already had new countertops installed the year before, and we couldn't find a good "match" for the existing cabinets anyway. John removed the drawer faces and re-attached them in such a way that they were connect to one another and the mult-level glide-out shelves that he installed. That doubled our usable space in those drawers. John also removed the center stiles from two double door cabinets in the dining room buffet. This allowed him to install pull out shelves that hold much more than the previous fixed shelf and a half, while also providing easy access to all sotred there. Wonderful! We had a problem - of our own creation - with the rails on one of the pull out shelves under the sink. I called Michael and he called back right away, arranging to come over and fix it. He came within a day and replaced the rail with a higher quality one than we had orignially - and never charged us a dime. Dad was so pleasantly surprised. One caveat or "suggestion" for potential customers: I've re-arranged quite alot of our "things" since the gliders were installed. Had I done that before, I might not have purchased two of the shelves, saving us a little bit of money. So I would suggest anyone considering these shelves to first do a real honest examination of what you have/want to keep/need to acquire and what you want/need to store in which locations before you get started. Then, by all means, ask Michael and his crew to make your life easier by installing the glide-out shelves. They are good products and you will want to buy as many as you can afford to fit the spaces you most need to reconfigure. They will save you time and aggravation, for sure!

Installation went very well. You do lose a little space, but so worth it for the ease of getting to pots and pans, etc. (I have a lot of "stuff," so I'm sure that some people will gain space.) It's great being able to pull out a glide-out shelf and instantly see what's in it - a stress reliever. The shelving appears to be very sturdy and is very smooth in its operation. John, the gentleman who installed the shelving, was very professional - made sure the height, etc., was the way I wanted it - asked me before he installed the shelving, which I greatly appreciated. I was pleased with the initial contact with Mike to talk about getting the glide-out shelving done and throughout the installation process. I definitely recommend this company.
