Description of Work: I have a service contract with them which for a modest monthly fee includes a furnace and air conditioning check up. This was their most recent service. I have been using them for a few years and found them to be responsive and reliable in their service, which has included going back and correcting mistakes and errors made by another company during the installation of my heating and air conditioning units. I have recommended Cullin to others and will continue to do so.

Description of Work: We arrived home @ 10:00pm to a hot house. Our A/C unit was not working and when we checked there was condensation/icing on the lines to the unit. That is usually an indicator of needing freon, we have found. We are 'Gold Club' members for both our home (which has 2 units for 2 different wings of our house) and our business. We pay $16.00 per month for each so that if we have a problem, we are SUPPOSED to get a one hour response. Well when I called tonight, I was told they were 'trying to reach' a technician. I was placed on hold for 12 minutes. She came back on and said that she had not reached him, but she would keep trying. I explained to her that I have asthma and I can't stay in this type of environment. She said the tech would call as soon as she got him. I waited for an hour and heard nothing. i called back in and got a 'male' this time who said that the technician was out on another call and that is why he had not called me back. He said that they 'aren't allowed to answer their phones' when they are on a call, but as soon as he finished that call, he would get the message to call me. I told him that I was using my inhaler, and would really appreciate an expedited response--or at least call me back and let me know if it would be much longer, and I would go to a hotel. Again, I waited an hour and heard nothing. I called in a 3rd time. This time I got a woman named 'Chi'. She read the notes and then said she would call the owner and get him on the line. After another 5 minutes, a man named Jeff (I think was the owner) came on and sounded like he had either just woke up, or was having a few while watching the Miami Heat Stomp OKC....I relayed the above situation and explained that sitting in my hot house, waiting for a technician to call me when he would be coming was not working. He said that after the 1st call, that he called 'Tony' our regular tech and he was not coming out. I asked if anyone was coming. He said, "No, no one wants to come out because it's too dark and they don't want to work without good lights". I asked him why then was I lied to (above) and just simply told that? I told him that after several hours, my asthma was now really kicked up and I could have been sound asleep in a hotel, comfortable and not having breathing issues. As a result of the lies I was told, and his apparent lack of caring to even remotely apologize or any attempt to correct our situation--I told him we would be canceling our club membership and we did not want to work with his company again. He simply hung up. It is too bad that 'Tony', whom we consider a very good technician and he has serviced us for years, won't be taking care of us. As long as he is employed by Cullins, that is. (Tony call us if you move on to another company!!!!!)

Per the client’s request we have cancelled her club membership. We are sorry for the issues she had with our call center. Unfortunately, with it being a call center, the quality of help you get varies greatly but they are the best we have found to date. That was the owner Jeff she spoke to and he was sleeping at the time of the call. As far as being there in one hour from a phone call, that has never been a claim made by our company. The “One Hour” in our company name represents guaranteed arrival time windows such as arrival time between 8:00 and 9:00. As a member of our club membership clients receive priority service so that when they call in with a problem they go to the front of the line. In this particular case, after calling in that evening, the client got the first call of the day the following morning.

Description of Work: My experience with this company began when my 23 year old furnace went out. A service technician came out promptly and quickly diagnosed and replaced the damaged igniter. He was very friendly and professional and I have since come to know Richard on a first name basis. He explained the benefits of being in the "Comfort Club" given that my furnace was old and I was trying to keep it running as long as possible. Club members pay a monthly fee to have regular maintenance calls. I signed up and had two of the maintenance calls before my unit went out again. Given the age of the unit, I decided it was time to consider a new furnace. The sales person came to my home in the evening after work. We went over the various units, prices, and payment options until I found the unit that was right for the size of my home AND the size of my budget! When I signed the contract she left 4 small heaters with me since I had no heat and it was going to be several days before the furnace could be installed. Those heaters kept the house so toasty that I joked that i should save myself some money and just buy those! On the day of the install, Richard and another man came out right on time. They were careful to keep all dirt out of the house (wearing slippers over their shoes when they had to come out of the basement into the main living area). They were pleasant, knowledgeable, and they worked diligently the whole time they were there. And they left no mess behind. They didn't have to walk my dog like the t.v. commercial shows for another company but, IF I had a dog and it needed to go out, I'm sure they would have! I would highly recommend this company. I have nothing but praise for the telephone staff, the technicians, and the salespeople. It was a very positive experience.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN ONE DAY, FASTER THAT PROMISED. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL TO PROTECT WALLS AND FLOORS IN THE HOUSE, AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN FINISHED. ALL OF THE OLD SYSTEM WAS REMOVED and TAKEN AWAY. THEIR INSTALLATION WAS MUCH NEATER THAN THE ORIGINAL FURNACE and A/C.

THE FURNACE NEEDED REPAIR 2 MONTHS AFTER INSTALLATION. THEY CAME OUT TO FIX IT AND PRESENTED ME WITH A $200 BILL. I SAID THAT IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, AND THE SERVICE MAN SAID "IF YOU DONT WANT TO PAY IT, DONT". SO I DIDNT! ALSO, I FOUND OUT LATER THAT I PROBABLY COULD HAVE PURCHASED THE HEATER LESS EXPENSIVELY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
