We are delighted you are pleased with your new bathroom. It was a pleasure working with you. Please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
We enjoyed working with Michelle at Luxury bath very much. She was very good at giving suggestions and also very willing to work with us and be flexible with us completing some of the bathroom remodel ourselves. The workers who came out were always very polite and respectful and told us what they were doing. They even offered some help with items they weren't contracted to do. We did run into a scheduling issue and Michelle went above and beyond to solve the issue. In this day and age you very seldom run into a company as wonderful to work with as this. I highly recommend them.

Perfect and installation was done between Christmas and New Years, during a snow storm. The materials were just as ordered and last minute modifications were made to make getting in and out of the shower easier. Everyone was great to work with. We can't wait to remodel the other bathroom later this year.
Description of Work: Extremely customer oriented. Great selection of materials and was even willing to arrange purchase and pickup of flooring from another store to make the project perfect. The installers were experienced and wasted no time getting the job done. They were extremely neat, cleaning up each night before leaving for the day and when the job was done. The owners are customer oriented and willing to make home visits, communicate by email and phone and do anything they can to make the project a dream come true. Wish more companies could be as easy to work with.

I received an internet lead from the customer via Angies List and immediately responed offering to schedule a free in-home estimate or inviting him into the showroom. The customer phoned the office and based on me being on another line the individual that answered the phone, Kim, attempted to help him. At the conclusion of the call Kim did advise me he informed her he was interested in having a tub painted. Since we do not paint (reglaze tubs) Kim provided the name of a company that does offer this service. He was rude and hostile towards Kim. Approximately 30 minutes later Mr. Layne phoned the office, again, and this time I was available. He expressed that he was not pleased with the conversation he had with Kim or the information she provided. I explained to him that this was very out of character for Kim. In fact one of Kim's strongest contributions at Luxury Bath is her ability to help customers. This being said, I did thank him for sharing this with me and assured him I would talk to Kim. I continued to speak with him and learned the information Kim provided was in fact correct. He has a rental property that has a tub he would like reglazed. I explained based on painting, reglazing, tubs being a temporary fix we do not offer this service. I offered various solutions but he indicated he had recently installed a wall kit and was only looking to have the tub repaired. In addition to the information Kim provided I also offered the names of other companies that might be able to help him. I, personally, spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with him. Based on the fact he was not pleased with his previous conversation he had with with Kim I was very careful to make sure I listened to his specific concerns and offered suggestions that would best fit his needs. I can not imagine why he has made the comments that he has other than this was an intentional set-up to post a negative report. It is unfortunate, and disappointing that there are individuals that were lower themselves to such behavior.

It was an excellent experience overall except for lack of information about cleaning and the need to renew the silicone every 2 years at a cost of $270. That was a surprise never mentioned.

Replacing the silicone is a service we offer to our customers only. Luxury Bath's silicone does have the added benefit of Microban and a mildew resistant additive. Unfortunately, it does not last forever. We have a minimal amount of customers that have poor ventiliation and no fan in their bathroom that actually have their silicone replaced annually. The majority of customers have it replaced anywhere from 2-8 years. It is not required to have Luxury Bath do this service but most customers find we are 1/3 the cost of other companies and our installers do an impeccible job. The cost to replace the silicone is $135 per hour, not $270, and almost always it can be completed within one hour. Cleaning packets are typically provided upon completion of each project. Please let us know if any additional informaiton would be helpful.
I had Michelle in to do a quote in March to redo our main and master bathrooms. The fixtures and vanities of the small baths in our 30-year-old house were dated and showing wear. After enduring an unpleasant high-pressure quoting experience with a leading competitor, I found Michelle's approach much more professional. She itemized everything on the quote and gave me the option to pick and choose which things I wanted her to supply. For example, I could go with the vanity she recommended or, if I found one somewhere else that I liked better, I could buy it independently and have her crew install it. I really appreciated this manner of quoting, and having that flexibility was a major factor in my deciding to go with Luxury. I should also note that Michelle initially made excellent recommendations for fixtures and cabinetry, so after exploring other options, I ended up going with most of her suggestions and purchasing almost everything through her. With a hectic schedule and an orientation toward detail, it took me a while to explore options on all the elements for the redo. During this time, I visited the Luxury Bath showroom a number of times. Michelle and her assistant, Kim, were always happy to answer questions and discuss options. As my husband and I finalized decisions on the two full baths, we decided to have Luxury also do the half-bath in the basement, which was in need of updating as well. Michelle worked with us on the scheduling so that they did the master over two days in mid-September, then a bigger crew did the main bath and half bath over two days the following week. This allowed us to have one working bathroom during the renovations. Each member of the Luxury installation team who came to our home was pleasant to work with. They placed drop cloths around the work area and along all traffic paths. They worked in a very clean, efficient, and obviously careful manner. I was amazed to see how quickly they accomplished the tear-out phase for each bath and how there was no mess. I had painted the walls prior to the job and expected to do quite a bit of touchup afterwards, but very little was necessary. The installers were very accommodating to my preferences and requests. In one instance I expressed disappointment because I had determined the replacement light fixture I had purchased was about an inch too wide to fit the available space, so I needed to take it back and get a smaller one. They told me it would not be a problem - they could move the mounting box over a bit . They did, and the fixture fit nicely. All three of the bathrooms turned out beautifully, and we are enjoying the easy care and tile-like look of our Sierra Sand textured acrylic shower and tub surrounds, along with the other new fixtures. Even though our bathrooms are small and functional rather than big and spacious, our redo with Luxury Bath has given them an upscale look and feel that sparks happiness each time we walk in the rooms.

I looked over several suppliers on Angie's List and was impressed with what I read about Luxury Bath. I stopped at the showroom and took a quick look at the display baths they had there. The heaviness of the wall systems was impressive so I decided to proceed with the project.. Michelle came to my apartment 2 days later with an array of samples and we wrote up the contract that day. She scheduled the installation for 2 weeks out. Matt (my installer) showed up on time at 9:00 AM on the day scheduled. His truck was well organized. Matt explained the whole process to me as he worked through it. I was still skeptical that it would be a solid wall like the showroom but Matt assured me it would tighten as it dried. We made a few changes as we proceeded (shower head placement. shelf placement etc) and Matt worked it through. At 7:00 PM he was done and he was right - the walls are solid, clean and bright. He also wiped down the entire bath floor and left the bathroom cleaner than he found it. Since we were going to refinish the tub he also left an additional tube of caulk to ensure that the finished tub would have matching caulk with the rest of the bath. If I was not so picky Matt probably would have been done at 4:00 I am very impressed and will use them for other projects.
Description of Work: The bath tile and grout around my tub in my apartment had failed and needed to be replaced.

I did visit the member's residence just short of two weeks ago. The member walked me directly to the hall bath and advised me the reason for her contacting Luxury Bath is her commode is leaking. She informed me her husband installed a new floor and when the commode was installled it leaked. If I am recollecting corrrectly it actually leaked prior to the floor being installed as well. Regardless, I advised her we are a bathroom remodeling company and not a plumber that repairs existing leaks. I did tell her I have a master plumber on staff and would ask him to call. Unfortunately, plumbers are busy and it appears the plumber has not has an opportunity to phone regarding the leaking commode. I will contact him Monday morning and ask when he will have an opportunity to phone the member's regarding their commode. The memberalso had me look at the master bath indicating it was a project they were considering. She provided several ideas relating to remodeling the shower and vanity area. Her ideas are quite detailed and will take a considerable amount of time to layout. I am aware most companies would charge for this service, Luxury Bath does not. It was my understanding this was not the urgent issue or what prompted the call to Luxury Bath. I will address the master bath with the member's Monday when I provide a update of when the plumber will be contacting them regarding their commode.

So how it went overall was that it started out okay, but slowly became a bad experience. We scheduled a time for them to begin and they were late on the first day; which was not that big of a deal because they said that they got held up at another client. Within the first few days they tore out everything and started installing the new stuff. However the one thing that they failed to tell us was that they sub contracted out the shower sides and door, and the electrical for the new tub. Which I don't mind, but I would like to know this stuff up front so I can plan time for someone to be at the house. Then there was delays on the ordering of the materials so the completion of the job took a lot longer than anticipated. The next problem was that everyday the workers would leave a mess in my garage and kitchen that I would have to clean up after when I got home from work. They would leave tile dust all over my garage that I had to borrow a pressure washer to get out, and they would leave half empty pop cans all over the house. Plus they would leave a mess in the kitchen sink that I would have to clean up because this is where they would get their water. Another thing that they failed to tell us was that we needed to provide not only the tile, but the groat and coloring for the tile, so I had to run out and buy this stuff when the workers wondered where it was at. Finally, although it was not part of the original contract, they told us that they would hook up the new sinks and run the new electric for the two new lights. They ran the new electric, but they failed to hook up the new sinks. So when I tried to get a hold of them about doing the project, I would have even paid for it, I kept getting the run around. No return phone calls after being promised the return phone call. The end result was that I ended up figuring out myself; which involved a flood in my house because of a small leak in the pipes and the rerunning of new pipes for the drains. Then two months later after the bathroom was finally completed I finally get a call back from them about hooking up the sinks. Obviously communication and punctuality are not on their high priority list. We finally have our finished bathroom, but it was not worth the $10,000 we spent on just what they did.
Description of Work: In the early part of 2011 we had met with Luxury Bath after talking to them at the Columbus Home and Garden Show about renovating our master bathroom. The job in hand was the placing of floor tile, a new jetted corner tub, and a new shower stall. The rest I was planning on doing myself; which included new sink pedestals, new medicine cabinet, new lights, new cabinet, and the painting of the walls. I tore out the old sinks, cabinets, and mirrors myself.

I was quite surprised to read Member’s complaint, dated July, 2012, as I spoke to both Member, Member, and his wife, several times throughout their installation. Absolutely none of the issues outlined were ever mentioned. It has been 16 months since the installation and this is the first time any of these concerns have been communicated. In regards to the timing of the project on March 4, 2011 a representative from Luxury Bath visited the Member’s home and discussed their bathroom remodeling project. Within days itemized pricing, outlining different options and costs, was provided for Member to consider. Final selections were made and the Member’s asked if they could complete a portion of the tear out (removal) to reduce the cost. Luxury Bath willingly agreed. Material was ordered and the installation was scheduled for March 23-25, 20011, approximately three weeks after the initial visit. Luxury Bath was at the Member residence consecutively, all three days. It is not unusual with this size of project to have to return to complete a punch list which we did April 6, 2011 for approximately 2 ½ hours. Part of the punch list was installing a rain shower head that was added after the customer agreement was signed. We are always happy to make additions and/or changes but since material is ordered on an individual basis we had to wait for the larger shower head to be delivered. Although there was more than one installer working on the Member’s project there was a lead installer, Jim Dufour, present each day, including April 6, 2011 when the final details were addressed. All of the the Luxury Bath installers carry brooms and shop vacs to clean up at the end of each day. Unfortunately very small pieces of acrylic can be difficult to sweep up in the area where the material was cut. I am wondering if the pop cans mentioned could have possibly been for another source as there would have been no reason for any of the installers to be in the kitchen. In regards to the electrician, Luxury Bath has a plumbing license, not electrical. We do have a licensed electrician complete all of the electrical work. It is the same individual, who offers all of Luxury Bath’s customers a discount and our customer’s only pay what is actually billed, no additional cost is added. Based on the Member’s layout and request for 3/8” frame less shower doors the custom doors could not be ordered until the tub was installed and the shower complete providing the final measurements needed. We understand waiting for the doors to be installed is an inconvenience and work aggressively to get the doors installed as quickly as possible. Perhaps this is the delay Member was referring to. Although Luxury Bath completes the installation of the bracing for the frame less doors we do, on occasion, have the shower door company complete the installation depending on the complexity of the installation. It is always our goal to ensure a professional installation and spare no expense in ensuring this is done in all areas of the remodeling process. We apologize if Member does not feel this was communicated or caused him any inconvenience. Based on the aforementioned, all of the pricing was individually itemized. The electrical portion was not outlined as the exact cost cannot be added until the electrician completes the installation. Many of our competitors charge in excess of $7,000 for a simple tub or shower replacement, not both. The Member’s had a new 48x48 air jetted tub with a custom solid surface splash and skirt, premium acrylic shower base, solid surface shower walls with a seat, new plumbing fixtures for the tub and shower, custom 3/8” frame less shower doors and installation of over 100 square feet of tile for just over $10,000. A coupon would have been available making the total under $10,000 but the Member’s opted to take advantage of the “12 months same as cash” program“. I am sorry Member felt it was an inconvenience to have to provide the grout but the itemized customer agreement specifically outlines “customer supplied tile and grout”. Based on there being so many tile options and grout colors this particular material is always customer supplied. We do, however, have customers that advise Luxury Bath where the material was selected and request that the Luxury Bath installer pick it up. We are always delighted to do so and would have been more than willing had Member made the request. All of the items outlined on the contract were fulfilled by Luxury Bath. Upon completion of the project, the request was made for Luxury Bath to hook up the sinks. Since this was not previously discussed time was not scheduled to complete. Luxury Bath advised the Member’s that we were happy to complete and would work their sink installation into the schedule and get back with them as quickly as possible. I personally phoned Member and advised her when we could return and install the sinks. Member advised me that her husband had already completed the plumbing. I understand projects can be much more involved than originally anticipated and am truly sorry the result of Member hooking up his own sinks was a leak. However, Luxury Bath cannot be held responsible for work that we were not contracted to complete. We were more than willing to return and complete the additional work and did in fact try to schedule based on our earliest availability. Holding Luxury Bath responsible for someone else’s work, no matter who it is, is completely unreasonable. I am aware that based on the 12 months same as cash program the year has expired and the bathroom now has to be paid for if it is not already. Unfortunately interest is added for any unpaid amount and can understand how frustrating this can be. Luxury Bath did complete the project outlined with superior materials at a more than competitive cost. We are disappointed that Member does not feel his installation met his expectations.

This was totally A+! We received lots of attention before the project started, a total of 6 meetings including two visits with the team to pick out products. Everything was on time and on schedule with no disruption of our life during the two week construction and work process. It was the lowest of three bids we received and exceeded our expectation on quality. The project was totally turnkey including repainting, new baseboards where appropriate, no work was necessary by the owner or other contractors. The key with construction projects is the big three. Is it on time, within budget, and are you thrilled with the product. A+ on all three. The quality was so impressive and the craftsmanship was impeccable. I give my unqualified endorsement, now 2 weeks after completion I still marvel every day and how great it turned out!
Description of Work: Luxury did a complete remake of our master bath shower and whirlpool by tearing out the existing structure, building a new wall , moving the plumbing, enlarging the shower by over 100%, installing all new stone and ceramic tile including fixtures. They also replaced the tub fixtures and tile from another bath and replaced with a larger tub and installed all new stone on the walls.

Excellent showroom. Very helpful to understand options, products, and layout's the company has to offer. Michelle was extremely helpful and explained their system in detail and helped pick out the best option for our layout. An approximate quote was provided in the store very quickly and easily. When Michelle came to our house to provide the actual quote it was exactly the same as it was in the store. I Explained that we have only one bathroom in the house and since I would be taking off time from work it was important to have the work done in 1 day if possible. She assured me that it would not be a problem based on the size and scope of the project. On the installation day the contractors showed up on time and were very professional (Contractors work for Luxury bath and are not sub contractors). Since I live in a home built in the 1920's, when the tub was removed their was more work than was anticipated to tear out the old walls and prep/install the new plumbing. This was not a problem, additional manpower was sent to my house to compensate and the crew stayed until the job was complete (7:30pm) since they knew I would be unavailable the next day. Even though it took longer than anticipated and more materials were required the final price was exactly the same as the final quote provided. No additional charges were added. Michelle and the contractors were extremely helpful from start to finish. The company is very professional and is focused on quality and customer satisfaction. I have and will continue to recommend using this company to friends and family.
Description of Work: Bath Tub to shower conversion with glass doors and 2 shower heads. Removed tub, walls, and fixtures. Installed new shower pan (same size as old bath tub), 2 shower heads (including additional plumbing for additional shower head), floor to ceiling shower walls and shower doors.

Rob and Adam arrived in the prescribed time given. Job was scheduled for two days. The first day the shower was removed, replumbed and installed. The vanity top/sink and toilet were removed and new one installed in the powder room. The vanity top/sink was removed and the new one was installed in the main bath. On the second day they finished removing and installing the 3rd vanity top/sink in the master bedroom and toilet in the main bath. The shower doors were hung, the shelves in the shower were installed and caulking finished. Overall, we were very impressed with the professionalism, skill and friendliness of Michelle, and her team. Everything was cleaned up when they finished and the result was amazing. These areas were in desparate need of updating and now we have two new clean and sleek bathrooms we will enjoy for a long time. The best part is that it only took two days! The only thing left was decorating.
Description of Work: Demo and removed shower in main bath, replaced with their shower system & glass shower doors; removed and replaced toilets in main bath and powder room; removed and replaced vanity tops & faucets in both bathrooms and vanity in master bedroom (vanity tops and sinks provided by customer).

Overall, it was fine. There were some major glitches due to measurements being incorrect for one bathroom which was a problem. When they left, he told me to make a list of things and he did come back out to correct them.
Description of Work: Replaced bathroom cabinets, sinks, mirror and just general remodeling.

Really well. We think we really were treated well by Joey, Michelle, and Keith the installer. Michelle worked with my wife to ensure that what we wanted was installed and took measurements. Keith worked really hard to install the shower and fittings. Everything was protected, and cleaned up when they left. explanations of cleaning and service, guarantees were second to none. I highly recommend this firm over an other out there for price as well.
Description of Work: Luxury started with an empty hole (rough-in) and exsiting plumbing. Installed Greenboard, new plumbing, acrylic Shower and Glass Door.

It went great. I have them come out once a year. They do one bathroom at a time, they remove all the mold and staining. They take all the old grout out and put new grout in.
