+ -1 moreI saw an Angie's list deal for a whole house humidifier ($379) but we did some research and thought the one advertised would be too small for our house. We called and asked about getting the next size up. They quoted us a price of $399 for the bigger version. Ernie was the technicial who came to our house. He was on time and was very professional. He wore booties into the house. He explained everything and seemed to know what he was doing. He even answered some questions my husband had about furnace filters. Thanks for the great service. We would use this contractor again.

+ 1 moreGot provider to come via $50 Angie's List Deal. Asked him to clear slow drain, fix leaky faucet, and fix slow flushing toilet. He fixed the drain, but bumped a faucet connection under the sink and it began to drip a bit. Also muddy boots left dirt on carpet. He recommended replacing the faucet. Also recommended replacing the leaky faucet, and said that for toilet to flush better, needed to clear vent. To clear vent would need to get up on roof and needed a second person, so said that would have to be scheduled later. Office emailed with estimate for two faucets and clearing vent -- $897. I called and left a message to ask for breakdown of costs, and they did not call back. I decided it was too expensive anyway, so did not call again. Plus bumped faucet connection stopped dripping, so no need to fix that. Seemed competent in terms of plumbing, but too expensive.
Description of Work: Cleaned out a sink drain. Also checked leaky faucet and slow flushing toilet.

+ -1 moreI used a online coupon deal through Angies list. The provider Evan called me quickly to set a time. The technician was out the next day, first thing in the morning. Am very happy with the work and politeness of all contacts. Would certainly use them again and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: After purchase of online coupon, Hubbs called me and set up the appointment promptly the next day. Plumber carried out replacement of toilet interior seal, pulled toilet and replaced ring, unstuck outside hose, and fixed a leaky bathroom faucet. Was clean, courteous, efficient and professional.

+ -1 moreTechnician Evin Tipp called approximately 30 min prior to arrival to let us know he was on his way. Evin arrived right on time and went directly to work. He completed his work about 45 minutes later and reported his findings. We discussed his findings, he gave me a copy of the report and departed. Mr Tipp was very professional and polite and took his time explaining and answering my questions. I would highly recommend Hubbs Heating and Air and will use them again.

+ -1 moreThey were okay. He was okay. I was just not impressed. he diagnosed that my air conditioner had issues and there was something wrong with my compressor and he couldn't fix it. I had a warranty and we got a new air conditioner from New Heart Warranty.

My only criticism is that I asked to get an estimate to replace my air conditioner, but we never got one. At least they didn't try to push more services on me. I would absolutely use them again.

+ -1 moreg and Air Conditioning.The results were a great success. The bedroom was much cooler but not at the expense of the rest of the house. The idea was a success. Great job Ernie and the staff of Hubb's Heating and Air Conditioning.
Description of Work: Ernie the representative from Hubb's had performed an overall check of my air conditioning system a couple weeks prior to this appointment. The system was found in good working order. I explained at that time that our bedroom in the second floor was always warm during the cooling season. Ernie checked and found all vents open and working. He suggested an inline fan that was wired to the furnace blower that would push additional air into the master bedroom.

+ -1 moreUPDATE: The owner called me very apologetic for what happened assuring me she has counselled the workers who came to my home, refunded some of my money and assured me this would not happen again.
Description of Work: When the plumbers showed up, one of them was having shoulder problems and the other didn't know what to do. Since I was paying by the hour, I didn't appreciate having the one trying to teach the other on my time. The didn't have the materials they needed - plumbers putty or silicone sealant, and had to use mine. They didn't fill the sinks with water to make sure everything was sealed and early Friday evening I discovered a leak. I call Hubbs and the plumber said he would be out at 10 AM on Saturday. I said that that was not a good time for mew as I had a meeting at 9:30 and asked if he would come at 8 AM. He said he would. At 8:15 he was still not at my house so I called. He supposedly had a flat tire, but never called to let me know he was going to be late . He did not show up until 9:10, at which point I missed my meeting. I would never use this cmopany again and would certainly NOT recommend them.

+ -1 moreThe guy was very professional and listened to all of my concerns, careful and patient to answer them all. In the end he made sure that unnecessary work wasn't completed. All in all I am very satisfied with the work completed and I will use Hubbs Heating & Air for any of my future heating or A/C issues.
Description of Work: Added refrigerant, as my system was low. The process was professional and he took the time to make sure that all parts were working properly. In the end my airflow has been better and my central A/C hasn't had to run as long during the day to cool the house.

When the need for an AC unit repair was identified, the technician brought in the part, explained why it was necessary to replace it, and was able to do so without making a return trip. AC flow was measured throughout the house. The technician replaced the batteries in the thermostat without charge. It is now time for my second HVAC and I have complete confidence that all will go as well this time as it did the first.
Description of Work: The provider completed the first of two contacted HVAC checks and made a repair to the air conditioning unit.

+ 1 moreI called Hubbs Heating and Air and got an appointment for the next day to unclog two bathroom sinks. The plumber, Mike, came on time and unclogged both drains. He also gave me some information on what was wrong with the stopper in one of the bathroom sinks. He was friendly, professional and fixed the problem. I bought the part that I needed and called them again to have Mike put it in and to fix a small leak. It's so nice to deal with a company that does exactly what they say they will do and at a reasonable cost.
