We purchased the deal on march 6th and were promptly contacted on march 7th to set up the appointment. The service man arrived on time and completed the work without any problems. We hadn't had the dryer vent cleaned in years so we were very pleased with the work that was performed.

Great! First, I knew exactly what I wanted done. Another provider was out & gave a repair estimate at a full day's labor plus service call (about $900). Fortunately for me the OTHER provider didn't ever follow through with what they said they would do. Wanting to get the work done on my timeframe, I contacted 4 highly rated providers with a short list of very specific requests. Hubbs was the only provider that responded to each of the points in my message, and they were also the fastest to do so. Consequently, it was an easy choice! Ernie (who was very personable & seems to love life) came out for a free quote on Wednesday. We got the job scheduled for Friday morning. He called to confirm the appointment, arrived when he said he would, & got the job done in 2.5hr (quoted 3hr). The connection was above some existing drywall, but there was a small access point where he was able to reach the ductwork & make the connection without tearing up the drywall. This saved a lot of hassle repairing the drywall like I thought I would have to, not to mention a lot of mess! Thanks! Would definitely use this company again!

ORIGINALLY THERE WAS A MIXUP IN THE SCHEDULING.I CALLED ANGIE'S LIST WHO SUPPLIED THE VENDOR'S PHONE NUMBER. I CALLED THE VENDOR WHO SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE TECH (ERNIE) CALLED PRIOR TO ARRIVING AND DID ARRIVE AT THE SCHEDULED TIME. HE ACCOMPLISHED THE WORK IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND WAS EXTREMELY POLITE.

It was great. The technician was very nice.

Very professional and helpful. He even showed me that I had bought extra parts that I didn't need and should take them back to the store. No more leaks!

I guess it was ok. He didn't know how to access the points that he was checking I guess. When he was hooking up his tester to pressure test the refrigerant, somehow it was messed up. And when he was screwing his test thing on to the refrigerant and the lines that goes to the air conditioning unit, he lost some of the refrigerant so he had to recharge the unit and he did and then he tested it again.

It was fine. I didn't feel like they did much. When I had gotten one from another company from other place, they were down there and set things apart. These guys were just in and out. They were in and out really quick. I'm not even sure what they did.

Everything wen well until I requested an itemized bill and as of this date I have still not received one. The bill simply had the total cost for each toilet and I requested one that was broken down by service call. Material and labor. If I ever use them again I will get it in writing up front that I want the itemized bill. I don' t understand what the big deal was and I wouldn't have cared if it was written on toilet paper as long as they honored my request.

I used Hubbs Heating & Air. They were here approximately 2 weeks ago. There were additional costs for parts. In total the cost $76.

We canceled the service, the company was very professional. I told the company that I had decided to go with another one at this time . I appreciated there willingness to allow me to call them and use them at another time.

Price was great, scheduling was easy, it took the amount of time they indicated when I called. Tech explained how the unit worked, showed me how to change the filter, and how the controls worked and the general proper setting. He wore shoe covers without me asking, it snowed today so it was really appreciated. This is my 2nd time utilizing Hubbs and I recommend them to everyone for heating and cooling. The brand new AC unit they put in over last summer works like a dream.

Questionable need of part replacement which was very expensive for the small spark device.

In November of 2015 the garbage disposal went out. I went through our home warranty company, and they called Hubbs. The repairman came in, and replaced it with a new one. I verified it worked as it should, paid the $100 deductible, and he went on his way. Just two short months later (Jan 25, 2016), the entire disposal fell off it's mount. We called Hubbs, since they did the installation. The repairman states that is fell off it's mount, just needs put back on, and that it's a faulty design for the larger garbage disposals (this one is a 3/4hp). He states that this happens to a lot of them, and that he knows how to keep them up. He goes back to the truck, zip ties it up, and states there is no way it can come down now. He told me it'd be $90 for this. It cost me $90 for him to come back for 15 minutes of work on a repair that he knows is likely to happen. It seems like it was installed, knowing these mounts are faulty, so they can charge us again in a couple months. No matter the friendliness and courtesy of the repairman and the office staff, the fact that they don't stand behind their own work, and don't knowingly do repairs with the customer not needing a return visit in mind, is shady business practices. I will not have this company do any other work in my house, and don't recommend they do work in anyone else's, knowing they won't do the job completely, in hopes of coming back for 'repairs not covered'.

I saw a deal of the day on Angie's List for a complete install of $1499 for a new furnace. Hubbs came to my home for an estimate and measurements. They were very informative and did not try to upsell me in any way. Installer arrived promptly for our appointment. The instillation of the new furnace took approx. 6.5 hours. The gentleman who did the install needed a bit of help from the owner as to rehooking up my humidifier and other minor items. After he left I ran errands and when I came back discovered the blower on the new furnace would not turn off. I called Hubbs (now after seven p.m.) and they sent the installer back right away and fixed the problem. A few days later I had some questions about my new unit and the owner agreed to come out and take a look. Although installed perfectly it was a matter of a few tweaks, e.g. conduit was a bit long and the owner shortened it. All in all a good experience with a company who really cares about their customers. I would recommend Hubbs for a repair or a new furnace I think you would be happy.

This was a $49 big deal purchase. It worked out fine. They were here on time and the gentleman that I worked with did a great job. He explained what was going to have to happen to make the repair. He was probably here a couple of hours and shared with me what the price was going to be. It has been working fine. I spent more than the price of the deal. With the $49 credit I still ended up having to pay close to $250. He had to go into the crawl space and cut the copper line going to the spigot. He had to replace that. Before starting that he had to go to the hardware store to know which spigot to get. They followed up with me and we scheduled a date, I think it was the following Saturday which was when it worked best for me to be here. The only issue I had is that it seemed a little pricey to me based on the cost of the materials. I think they could be a little more price competitive especially with the $49 towards the repair. I think the price of the part itself was about $25 or $30. They were professional and timely doing their job. My interaction with them was very favorable. They indicated who would be coming out and he was good to talk to. He was courteous. I have had no problems. He adjusted the valve before he left and put a pressure relief spigot on. He even was kind enough to put the spigot in at an angle because the way it is coming out of my crawl space it was too close to the ground. I really appreciated that. They were here when they said they would be and they called before they came. The gentleman who came out was very nice and answered all of my questions.

Fine -- no issues other than timeliness with appointment

Rep scheduled a visit and failed to show up and didn't call. After contact, there were technical issues resulting in the missed appointment. All was resolved. The Rep was courteous, on time and helpful. He made sure the home was neat before he left.

Hubbs was very prompt with communication and scheduling. Cory, the technician, was very polite, friendly, and professional. He showed up right on time. He explained everything to me and when he left I knew more about my furnace system and how to care for it. He didn't have my filter size in his truck but he quickly returned with one.

The technician was professional and courteous. If this is all I had to review then it would have been a good review. As I had two separate units done. The first one was easy, but the second unit he ran into some issues. In addition, he did not come prepared with the filters required as part of the package and had to go back out for hours to get them. The main issue was the result of the second service. The technician and Hubbs indicated to me that I needed to replace the inducer and this could be really expensive and they would followup with me. After almost a week and with cold temperatures and no operating unit I called them. I was told my job was mislabeled and noone was following up on what needed to be done...they said "sorry". Again, would followup with me. Again, I heard nothing from them after days. I called another provider to get this job addressed. This company with much more technical know how diagnosed a completely different issue and showed me why it was not the inducer. It actually started with the mother board and different solutions were needed. They fixed the heater at considerably less than the anticipated costs inferred by Hubbs and for the correct parts. I called Hubbs again to ask for the pricing in order to see what they would have charged me. $844.97 for a misdiagnosis! I am sure that Hubbs is successful and has happy customers, but this was a significant mistake that could have cost a lot of time and money to me. I suggest you do your homework in your decision and I hope this review helps as you have choices. The owner did leave a message in followup, but is not aware of all of these issues it seems. I will followup with him to make sure he is aware.

went well, on time, no leaks

He was running late but called during the scheduled time to let me know.He arrived and got right to work. I explained the issue I've had with my less than 2 year old toilet. Mikechecked it out to see the problem for himself and almost immediately diagnosed what 2 other plumbing companies couldn't! He carefully explained (and showed me) what was wrong, made adjustments, tested it and it was fixed. No repair costs! Yay!

Went great, very nice people and great work!

Toilet was making a swishing sound on and off after husband replaced broken handle. The plumber came within the time frame promised on the date promised and replaced the needed parts. Everything was included: service call, labor and parts.

It went fine. They told us that it was a part that was bad and they had to order the part and come back. When they came back to put that part in, it wasn't bad. When they came back to replace the part, they just took the dead bird out but they charged me $90 for the service call, which I wasn't happy about.

It went well. No problems, no complaints.
