The serviceman arrived on time and completed the work in a professional manner. He put in a panel that will provide easy access to the pipes.

It went great. My home is a ranch and they had to drill a hole in my wall. They did it in my spare room and was at the bottom of the wall, which was great. No one could see it at all. They also put a nice cover over the area what was cut out. I highly recommend this Company. I would like to say Thank You to my installer Mike. He took his time and assisted me in moving some large objects that were In his way. He did not have to do it, and was kind in doing so.

The service representative was very friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing while he was doing it. He was neat in performing the work and went steps above my expectations. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Overall, they did a good job on both the outside faucet and masterbath toilet. Several attempts were made before the installation of the hose faucet was successful. After the universal fittings for the faucet to the house plumbing failed to be the right length, the employee for Hubbs had to solder new copper fittings into the existing plumbing of the house for proper installation of the outside faucet. The second time the employee forgot to reattach the laundry washer hose he had disconnected on the cold line he was working on and left the valve closed. (My wife discovered this when the washer would not complete the rinse cycle on a load of wash). Overall, the installation of the outside hose faucet was sucessful. The second visit was to install a new return and chain for the masterbath toilet. Since the employee had to take the tank off the toilet with an above shelf, he spent about an hour of labor by the time he wrote the invoice and the charge was about $118.00. I thought for this day and age the price was not out of line and fair. The toilet was running through from time to time and was wasting a lot of water and money. Now it is working like a champ and is back with the program. Amen! One fact I should mention is this company does good work, however, they do not give you a written guarantee on parts and/or labor. However, I would like to think, if you had problems with their work or parts, they would try to make it right with you.

Everything went fine. He came and did his job professionally. He also checked something in the toilet tank that I did not say anything about before he came. In the future I may need a new inside of the tank. I think (I forgot his name, but he was very young) went beyond the call of duty.

Excellent experience! They did have to do some extra work to do the replacement, which required drilling through the wall in my room, but it went well. It required moving the furniture around in my room, but they helped me get it moved and were so nice about it!

Hubbs were very fast and helpful. Would definitely used them again. I selected Hubbs after another repair company failed to show up. Hubbs fitted me in very quickly and I was able to get the service I needed without much delay. I was very grateful I learned of this company.

Hubbs was a lifesaver! We are selling our house and discovered our AC unit stopped working on a Saturday when it was 90 degrees and we had multiple showings. Hubbs came out within a few hours of us calling and their office manager was so accommodating and just plain nice. Additionally, our technician, Jimmy, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and had us back up and running in less than 20 minutes!! I highly recommend this company and will be calling back shortly for a few plumbing needs.

I asked for an estimate to replace a light fixture at the same time as the faucet. I emailed that I wanted to proceed and scheduled the work for May 26. Mike arrived as scheduled and replaced the faucet but was not aware of the light fixture replacement and said he wasn't comfortable doing it. He said he would contact the company and get back to me, which he did. The light replacement was rescheduled for June 4 and that was completed as promised. So except for a little snag, I was completely satisfied with all aspects of this job. Overall, the company responded very quickly to my initial inquiries, and the servicemen were great. I felt that they wanted me to be completely satisfied, and I was. Also, I want to note that before I made the Big Deal purchase I read through comments made by other customers and was very impressed that the company responded to all. Usually company's only respond to the negative ones, but this company acknowledged all comments.

faucet looks great, friendly service

Mike replaced a leaky outdoor garden faucet and installed an inside shut-off valve, at my request. A very tough job: The faucet was through a brick wall accessible only through a small service space between a basement closet wall and the outside foundation wall. Somehow, he managed to cut off the faucet and pipe, installed new pipe, shut-off valve and fittings in that tiny space. Very neat and thorough - and very friendly. Accepted the $99 Angie's List coupon plus the extra shut-off valve parts cost as full payment. What a pleasure!

The technician was at my house for over 3 hours and couldn't figure out why my AC unit was not cooling the house. He left without fixing the issue and said someone would call me first thing the next morning. That was on a Thursday. I never received a call, so I decided to call them the following week. The person I spoke to said he was waiting to hear back from the manufacturer and he would call me back. It's been almost 2 weeks since the service call and they have yet to call me back. If you want something to get fixed, call another company.

Tech was prompt and courteous. I would have given even higher scores, but for one error with leaving the AC outdoor switch in the off position. It took me a day or 2 to realize. Otherwise, great!

I was notified (via phone) on the day of the appointment that their vehicle broke down on the way to my home and was asked if I would like to reschedule. Since the call came before the scheduled appointment time, I requested to be given an update since another one of their vehicles was going to the breakdown location. They called me back a short time later to let me the service provider was on his way to my home. He arrived within the appointment time. He performed the 20-Point Air-Conditioning Tune-Up and in the process found the A/C needed R22. I gave the ok to add it. Very pleased with the service.

I called Hubbs on Friday, 5/8. The person who answered was very friendly and said they just opened up Sunday (Mother's Day) for appointments because they were so busy and could fit me in then. I was grateful because of the heat and open windows not being ideal with my son's asthma, but declined because it was Mother's Day, and we were meeting family coming into town. She then said instead they could add me to their "will call" list for Saturday. This meant that if they were in my area of town and had time in between scheduled appointments, then they would call and come by. On Saturday around 11:00a, I received a phone call that the owner of the company would be at my house in the next 15 minutes. Within 10 minutes he was at my door and apologized for not being more professional and having a uniform on. Of course, I was just grateful he was there. It turns out, the owner had driven all the way from Dayton to service our call. He was helping out because Hubbs was so busy here in Columbus. He diagnosed the problem, added the coolant and was out of our house within about 20 minutes. I can't say enough nice things about this company and the fact that they went out of their way to help a new customer. Every other AC company (which was at least 12 others from Angie's List) I called could not fit us until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week because we weren't paying for a service contract with them. Based on this great experience, I will use Hubbs for all of our heating and cooling needs and will highly recommend them to family and friends.

A great experience! Ernie arrived exactly on time (10:00 a.m.) and thoroughly inspected my furnace (even changed the air filter) and air conditioning unit. He spent 2.5 hours cleaning and inspecting everything - he adjusted the wires in my thermostat and did such a great job cleaning the air conditioner that it almost looks new. To be that meticulous at that price is amazing, and to top it off, Ernie was downright nice as well as professional. I will definitely use this company in the future and highly recommend Ernie - he is an excellent representative of Hubbs Heating & Air. Thank you, Ernie!

A man came out first for $159. . I got them from Angie's List to check out furnace and air conditioner. We needed Freeon which he put in right away at a cost of $100. Then he showed me where the leak was in the unit in the basement. He said the tubes in the unit were leaking and showed me. They sent out another person in about a week to fix the leak. He even offered and helped me bring in my groceries! I had just come back from the supermarket. He was a very polite, clean, and nice young man and seemed very competent.

This was my first time using Hubbs and I will definitely be using them in the future. Ernie was on time and he was very professional and considerate of my home. He was also very personable - both with me and with my extremely curious dog! I have quite an old system and I really appreciated that he didn't automatically try to convince me I need to replace it. I look forward to having Hubbs back out in the fall to service my furnace as well.

Turned out very well. I liked that the main plumber that came was very courteous. Had their shoes covered going in and out of the house. He let me know what was going on every step of the way and there was some extra issues that had to be resolved. They had to cut into our wall to get into the fixture. I felt they did it in the most cost effective way. Did a good job and cleaned up afterwards.

I initially requested contact from this company thorough another venue (and it was on Easter) of all days. I expected it to be the next business day as any normal person would but I was shocked when the phone rang and it was this company to inquire what we were looking for. We scheduled someone to come out and get an estimate. On the day before the scheduled time, I had to call to reschedule. Not only was the person I spoke with on the phone very professional but also very understanding. Rather than Friday (originally scheduled time) we chose the service for Monday. They gave me a 12-2 time block. The technician came at 1:30p and to me, this was a very good start. The service was excellent and very professional. We had Ernie out to service the gas line and not only was he punctuational but also very respectful in every step of the work (even with our "new homeowner" questions). During the process of the installation, Ernie described exactly what he was looking for and doing. Also when he had things "roughed in" -so to speak- he brought us to look at the work, make sure it was what we were looking for and that we were happy with how the work was appearing so far. The quote that was given was very reasonably priced in comparison to some others that were received. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied not only with the customer service aspect of the installation but also the quality of the work and professionalism of the technician. Definitely would recommend this to any person needing their sort of work done.

Everything went excellent. Quick and easy scheduling. Ordered 3/16/2015 and scheduled promptly for 4/3/2015. Plumber arrived promptly on time, 1st toilet was fine, 2nd needed new supply line (which I knew it was "running" intermittently and I expected repair would be needed). He had all parts necessary to complete the work, was done in total of about 1 hour, and all seems to be functioning well. Satisfied with experience. Would hire again.

My service with them did not solve the problem I was having. The young man that came said he didn't have the equipment to fix it, but he did what he could. He said they were a new company and he didn't have the right size drill to get down into the drain and suggested I buy some drain cleaner. The folks that I talked to on the phone were very nice. They were very accessible. I talked to her a couple of times late in the evening, well after business hours. They're very, very responsive, and I appreciated that. But the young man that came simply couldn't take care of the job. The availability of this company was very good but the service was not. Their price was terrific.

It was a good experience and my Husband primarily worked with them.

They came out and had to work a little more than an hour. He did have to go get a part. The plumber was very nice. He put in a filtering system under my sink. After he left, the door did not close properly and it still doesn't. The work was good though.
