I bought the $89 20-point tune-up special for my electric heatpump. I then called and scheduled the service within a few days. The tech showed up on time and was professional and courteous. He didn't do all of the 20-point check. He added refrigerate, which I'm not sure was covered under the special. I thought it might have been an extra charge, but he didn't charge me. At that point, I wasn't concerned about all of the 20-points. He did the most important thing in checking the operation and performance of the heatpump. Many of the 20-points were cleaning related, which I did after the tech left. I'd hire them again, but next time, I would discuss with their office what is and isn't covered. Update on 8/13/2015: Hubb rep called me last week and apologized for the confusion as they had several deals on Angie's List and the tech apparently got confused with another offer. The rep offered a great deal on tuning up my other heat pump as an apology, so I bought the new offer. The same tech came out as before and did everything that was expected. Overall, my experience was great and I'd hire them again.

I couldn't be happier with the service we received from Hubbs. They were responsive, kind and accommodating. I originally called three companies and Hubbs won the work right from the first call I made. I spoke with Chad, the owner, and I trusted him from just talking with him for a couple minutes. They seem to be really be trying to treat everyone as they would like to be treated...and it shows. Ernie was our tech and he was fantastic - very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Carrie scheduled our service and she was very accommodating and friendly. The price was right, service top notch and I would certainly refer others to use this company. I'm so pleased that I have found a good one!

The service provider was a younger guy, so we he showed up I had low expectations. Turned out he was great, he took all the time he needed to get both toilets performing well. I have had other plumbers try to fix the issue when the toilets were running constantly with only short term fixes. The representative from Hubs was very detailed and worked until he had a solution and when he walked me through it in great detail I was confident that he had done the work correctly. I am thrilled with the resolution!

I bought a deal of the day from Hubbs Heating and Air for an outdoor faucet replacement. They were fast to set up a time for them to come out and were prompt when they did. The repairs were done within a few minutes and now my faucet is leak free. Would use them again.

I purchased an Angie's List deal on Wednesday, by Thursday AM the company had contacted me to arrange a time to come to the house. They gave me a range of time that they would arrive between 12-2. Ernie arrived to the house around 2pm. He confirmed the appointment outside the house, upon entering he placed shoe covers on. He did a very complete evaluation of the AC unit in the basement and the furnace. He provided education and had lots of patience when I was asking questions. I appreciated the time he took explaining things and helping to diagnosis the problem. There was no significant concerns identified. I would be more than happy to use this company in the future and will encourage other to use them as well. Ask for Ernie, he was so helpful!

It was great. Jimmy took his time and was conscientious of our tile floor so as not to crack it. Jimmy was polite, friendly and thorough. The office was more than fair with the hourly rate due to the nature of the work. We were very pleased with the fee as an unscrupulous company could have gouged us. I highly recommend Hubbs for plumbing services.

OUTSTANDING!!! This is my first time using Hubbs Heating and Air but it certainly will not be my last. Starting from a call past 5 p.m. discussing my cooling problem with a truly caring company to an excellent cooling specialist (Ernie) who shows up on time and calls before arriving. That kind of professionalism is very rare. Ernie walked the home with me offering suggestions as diagnosing the issue and in less than 30 minutes I was up and running. A Great job and a big Thank you to Ernie and Hubbs Heating.

I called Hubbs on Saturday and was able to schedule an appointment for the following Tuesday. I was pleased they gave me a two hour window so I wouldn't be tied up all day. On the day of service, I first received a call that the technician was running a little late but was on the way. About 30 minutes later the owner Chad Hubbs called and apologized for tech running late. He gave me $30 off the price due to the inconvenience and said the tech would be there shortly. Two techs arrived around 3:00. Unfortunately, it was pouring down the rain with thunder and lightening and the first thing they needed to do was pull out a ladder and climb up to remove the outside vent cover. The storm didn't seem to faze them! They came inside to check out the dryer location,opened up the vent inside, then went outside, pulled out their equipment in the rain and went to work. There was a big birds' nest inside of the cage made to keep that from happening and lint had collected behind it. The tech used a big vacuum machine with a spinning brush on the end and slowly worked it back and forth through the vent to the inside. My vent is long and the hose ran a few feet short of coming out inside, so they moved inside and ran the it back the other way. After it was all clear, one of the techs hooked the vent back up, cleaned up the area and checked to make sure the dry was working. The techs had already been told to give me the $30 discount so the final cost was only $69. Both techs (Mike and Casey) were very personable, professional and answered all of my questions. They didn't waste anytime because of the poor weather conditions and were not annoyed by my barking dogs. I highly recommend Hubbs Heating and Cooling. Thanks for a job well done!

The repairman arrived promptly at the appointed time. He was thorough in his explanation about how he was going to replace the faucet and why he was replacing it instead of repairing it. He was courteous and professional. The job site was left as he found it..in great condition.

Our A/C was iced over on the outside and inside, and needless to say, it wasn't blowing cool air. So what did I do? I called several of the large, "A rated" Angies List companies. Most were very kind, but unfortunately very, very busy. After describing the problem over the phone, most told me there was a leak in my system, and they would have to come out and do a fairly expensive leak check. What happens if they find a leak? Unfortunately, most leaks can't be repaired, so most likely I would be facing a new coil at a minimum (at least $500). Also, they were booked solid. Some could get me in within a few days. Then, I called Hubbs. They told me 1.) Yes, probably a leak, 2.) However, if it's a very small leak, refilling it might buy you one or two cooling seasons, 3.) Why don't you let us come out, take a look, and put in a couple pounds of refrigerant and see what happens. I was shocked. They literally were thinking like the customer! Let's get this thing working again for the minimum amount of money, then see where it goes. Would I have to wait long? The owner, Chad Hubbs told me he was very busy as well, but would try to get me in within 24 hours. It's been a month since he was here, but if I remember correctly, he came the next day at about 9:00PM at night. I was floored that he was willing to come so late! When he arrived, I told him I was surprised he was willing to come so late. You know what he said? I'm just trying my best to do what's right for customers - you need your A/C back on, and I want to help you ASAP. I was so very grateful! Chad put in 2 pounds of R-22, made sure the system was cooling again, then told me to call him if I have any more issues. He patiently explained how the system works and told me not to start talking about buying a brand new system until we see what happens with the recharge. He looked a little tired when he arrived (sorry for saying that, Chad), so I asked him how busy he had been lately. He said EXTREMELY. I asked him about whether he plans to hire new techs. You know what he told me? He told me that he would love to add new techs, but that he's so picky when it comes to his employees, it's hard to find the type of employee that meets his high standards. He said his reputation, his very livelihood is at stake every time one of his techs or himself are on the job site. That, he said, is why he would rather keep the number of techs low and for him to do so many repair calls himself. This man values his business. He takes pride in his work and reputation. I was thrilled to have Chad, the owner of Hubbs Heating and Air, service my system. The first thing he does when he comes to your home is put himself in your shoes. I love that. If your system is having some problems, I strongly recommend you give him a call. By the way, the system is still working great! Thanks, Chad!!

Showed up on time. Was very professional. My only concern is that there was an additional charge to hook the faucet into the existing plumbing. I thought that should be in the price as how can you buy a hose faucet and then have to pay additional fees to have it connected.

Ok. Wasn't convinced the " plumber" knew what he was doing. Showed up in dirty clothes. Kinda gave me the creeps.

It was great. Mr. Hobbs did the work himself as a part of a "big deal" at a fraction of actual cost. He had to find a way to adapt to my smaller water pipe and went off to do that work, taking a great deal of his time. When I offered to pay him more for his service he said "no, just call me the next time you need plumbing work." I definitely will. He went more than the extra mile.

The tech was extremely nice. He replaced the toilet flappers in two units and the leaking we were experiencing stopped right away. He even explained which were best and why the ones I kept DIY installing rarely lasted more than a few months. He did have a slight problem when trying to adjust the float in our sump pump, accidentally causing some damage, but immediately installed a brand new replacement pump. Hubs Heating and Cooling went OUT OF THEIR WAY, to make sure we were MORE than happy with their work, even going as far to call us to check up on their work! I would definitely use their services again, without hesitation!!

I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List to replace an outside faucet for $99. Provider contacted me the next day and we agreed on a date and time. The project took longer than I anticipated. The technician ran into difficulty soldering the existing copper pipe, but line continued to leak. After a considerable time, he asked if he could use other materials he had on hand. I agreed to pay for the extra material, but would not pay any additional labor. He then completed the project with no further problem.

It went very well. He was prompt and courteous and finished in the time he said he would. Did not try to sell anything we didn't need.

They went right to work fixing the toilet but found that they had to go get another part to complete the job. They did not charge for the time spent waiting for one of the service men to return with the part needed. Very careful to put shoe covers on to protect the floors in my house. I will definitely use this company again if needed.

Went great! It was so cold out but he stayed out there and did what he needed to do without rushing, was very nice
