Ace did a fantastic job on installing my fence. The fence looks fantastic and the job was done quickly and professionally. Ace even worked with my HOA to get all the approvals for the fence squared away. When they started the job, they uncovered a good deal hidden concrete that was in the path of the fence. I was offered quick and intelligent alternatives and the job was finished on time with no additional charges. Fantastic!

The sales representative came to our home as promised and showed us a large selection of styles of fences to choose from. Within a couple of days he provided estimates on three different fences that we were interested in, as well as for a hand rail for our back porch. Once we made our decision Ace got the required permits and ordered the materials. As luck would have it there were problems with the placement of utility boxes in the yard and with the homeowners' association. Ace worked with us to get these problems resolved as soon as possible. They installed the fence as soon as the materials came. Again, there were issues with the placement of utility lines (they were really close to where they had to dig) that slowed progress and caused the installation to go into another day. To our surprise, instead of waiting through the weekend, they returned on Saturday to complete the work. During the installation we were kept informed ot progress from the time the crew arrived to completion. The workers we all friendly and polite and made sure they cleaned up after they were done. We are totally satisfied with our fence and I love it. I would recommend Ace to anyone who needed a fence.

Very easy to get in touch with and fast to schedule an estimate. Very knowledgeable and provided estimate right on the spot. Brought in a laptop with lots of beautiful photos of their work. I received an estimate from another company with good reviews on Angie's List and for the very same product line and Ace's price was more than 10% higher, even with a discount. Had to go with a company that was easier on the pocketbook!

The fence and the railing looked like it was all put in at the same time. One of the reasons why we did this was because we had acquired two dogs and they were small and they could have gotten through the railings of the deck that was there as it was. I have had several people to just put in a mesh across it. When Ace got here he said, "That would be awful. What you need to do is just put in more spokes in your deck." And that was just the thing to do and they looked like they have been there all the time. So, I was very happy with their services. There is also a step down from the sidewalk to our driveway which was kind of treacherous and I wanted a railing in there and they put it in just exactly the way it needed to be. So, I am very very happy with that as well and I have gotten a lot of complements on that from other people.

They came and installed a dog eared fence on an acre and a half of ground. It took them two days to do it and they did a beautiful job with it.

It was very good, I was very please with the work. They're very neat, they gave me little bit different look to the porch and the deck. I was just pleased with the way the workman handled themselves and the way everything turned out. I know what the amount was but I don't see that it has any bearing because the size and everything makes a difference. I felt they were in the ballpark or I wouldn't have gone with them. I wouldn't give a grade on price because I had different type of work done and that was my choice; for me it's reasonable for what I wanted. Everybody has their own thoughts about price, some go a little bit cheaper because they don't want what I want and vice versa. I like the quality of what they've done and everything.

It was a week wait to get an appt for a fence quote, we were willing to wait as the reviewes were good. Ace came out and looked at our job we needed done. We were told we would be promtly emailed an estimate. We did not receive that day. I called and left message requesting quote as this was the last quote we were waiting on. Received message back that they are just really busy and we would get as soon as they could. We finally received quote and the estimate was double the price of the 5 other quotes we received. We had 6 people quote our job. 4 were between 4-5K, one was 7K and Ace quoted us 9K. Not sure where the issues is, but we chose to go with another reputable company with a much fairer price. Overall initial experience with ACE was not a good one.

They were really good. They were very easy to deal with from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable as far as giving us education on the different types of wood that we can use and the cost of each one. They are really timely as far as getting things done. Everything was done way ahead of schedule. They were very competitive in pricing.

THE SERVICE WAS GREAT FROM START TO FINISH. ROB WAS VERY HELPFUL IN THE SELECTION OF THE NEW FENCE. HE WAS ESPECALLY HELPFUL IN APPLYING FOR A VARIANCE THAT WE NEEDED TO CONSTRUCT IT. BOB ASSURED US THAT THE JOB WOULD BE COMPLETED BY A CERTAIN DATE WE REQUESTED. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED AHEAD OF TIME. THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS ALWAYS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. THEY WORKED LONG AND HARD TO COMPLETETHIS TASK, TO OUR SATISFACTION.

He walked through what I asked to have done and helped me make the best decision given the condition my fence was in. He was very honest and up front and explained everything in detail so I understood my options. I signed the contract for what I want to have done and he explained the wait to have the fence built. He explained the process and what I could do to save money in the fence process. I expect my fence to be build by the end of June. I would recommend anyone who is in need of a fence to call ACE and talk to Rob! He is honest and a great guy! He knows the fence business and will meet your fencing needs!!

When we moved into our house 3 years ago we knew the fence had to go. It was 20 years old, the wood was rotting, and it was caving in on one side. Not to mention it was about 3 different colors. Ace wasn't the cheapest quote but we were really impressed with the demonstration on how they built a fence since we have some specific specifications (1 inch spacing, flush to the ground which is not level). We are absolutely thrilled with the end result. Our yard is all clay and rock which made it difficult to dig the holes for the posts. And they had to deal with our neighbors who are very particular when it comes to their bushes. But the professionalism of the crew was amazing, the fence is spectacular, and I think it is safe to say with the old fence gone we have improved the value of not only our house but the neighbors as well. When we have to tear out our trek deck in 2-3 years I'm giving Ace a call.

Rob came out to our home for the in-person estimate. He was very professional, pleasant, low-pressure and was willing to provide us a product the way we wanted it; I was able to obtain an estimate for a deck with the materials that I wanted and not the materials that the other companies insisted that I absolutely must use. Rob did an excellent job at educating us on the different materials available and the pros and cons of each of them. We definitely learned that just because some materials are more expensive than others, they are not necessarily the best choice. We obtained estimates from three different companies, and Ace Fence and Deck was pretty much in line with the other two companies when it came to cost. I do, however feel that we got more for our money with Ace. The other estimates we obtained did not include skirting or the upgraded flared steps that we opted for. Ace was very responsive throughout the entire process. Rob was on the ball on the sales end. The crew contacted me during day two of construction because they had popped a breaker. They wanted to let me know in the event we had a refrigerator or freezer on that circuit so that we would know to reset that breaker when we got home that evening. They could have just not told me and left me to figure it out myself; excellent customer service. Ace was very punctual as well through the process. The estimated start time from the day we signed the contract was 14-21 days. It was more along the lines of four weeks before construction began due to the permit process in my area being a slow process and was completely out of Ace Fence and Deck's control. Total time from start to finish was four days. The crew at Ace remained professional through the process, from the first in-home consultation through job completion. The crew installed a wonderful deck and the job site was clear of all debris when finished. Being that we are in a new development, I hope that surrounding neighbors will inquire about who built our deck. I would be happy to see more decks by Ace in our neighborhood!

From the first visit from the salesman (who took measurements) to the finished product they were prompt and professional. End of story.

They made a nice, fancy-looking fence as a railing for me on the front and back steps. For my back, I needed something to hang on to. I was worried that my neighborhood association would not like plain, simple railings. I wanted something that would improve the character and look of the house in the front. I wanted a colonial style fencing that could be used as a railing. It goes up the steps and looks very colonial and matches the house very well. In the back, they made a little porch with railings and steps. Both the front and the back look very attractive, and I feel that it added a lot to the house. Then, on the cement going out of the patio on to the concrete, they added another railing that was decorative and beautiful, too. There was obviously a lot of labor involved. They came in, started, and finished quickly and the end result was great! I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors since then.

The experience was wonderful. From the first meeting to review styles and pricing,to the final follow up, Rob was very involved. He made sure we were happy with the plan of the fence and this included modifications after our HOA approval was received. The attention to detail with this fence is great. The wood choice, the construction style and finished appearance are the best. We really love the fence.

They were very easy to work with, meet with them twice - to review the project and we were very happy with them.

Spoke with the owner at the fall home show. He was very polite and informative about the services they provide. Left my name and phone number with him and within a week we were contacted by a rep from the company. We scheduled an appointment. Came out to the house as promised. On time and was very professional. We talked at length about the products they used and options we had for fencing the back yard. Decided to hire them for the job. They promised to be back in about 3 weeks but actually came out sooner to do the job. The installation took about 2 1/2 days as we were told. The installers were very professional and did an exceptional job with the fence and gate. We are extremely happy with the fence and that we used Ace Fence and Deck. We have already recommended them to family members who have also used them.

They designed a lovely wooden deck and gazebo, although we changed our minds a few times, they were very cooperative. They showed up on time, and cleaned their mess. Very good compnay.

I selected Ace after calling the top 4 fence companies to come up on Angie's List. Ace had a very good price and was the most comfortable with them. They also had a short lead time. I was originally scheduled to start on 10/29 but the weather from hurricane Sandy threw a wrench in that. Ace consistantly communicated with me as the week went on while we waited for the weather to clear. Once it did, they came out on Thursday to put the posts in. I had some issues with utility boxes and lines along the back of my yard, so Rob came out to make sure the fence was laid out in a way that both maximized my enclosed yard and safety inc onstruction. I am happy with what we came up with. They came out the next afternoon and then Saturday morning to finish off the fence after letting the concrete for the posts set. The fence looks great and is exactly what I wanted for a price less than what I expected to have to pay, I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to put in a fence.

They seemed very interested in the job. Looked at the plans we had, talked to us about what we wanted, where we wanted things, etc. But we never got a call or mail about what it would cost or even that they decided not to do the job.

We have been very happy with This company and their professionalism. We had some privacy fence and a couple of gates replaced by Ace. Ace was prompt and finished the job fast. The first thing they had to do was take the old fence out; I really liked how they put up orange plastic fence the nite before our new fence was put up so our dog couldn't get out. The fence looks great, and Ace was happy to come back a couple of times to put up some extra hardware on at no charge.
