It is so easy buying windows from them. All the prices are set and listed on the quote. There is no pressure to buy up and no confusing sales or promotions. The windows are made by OKRA which has an excellent reputation for solid windows. You will get weekly updates on the status of your project. I want to expressly shout out to my installers, Erik and Marc who did an excellent job. All twelve windows were installed in one day. As always, Chad did a great job with the presentation and options and they were delivered and installed when promised.The Provia doors are incredibly well built and sturdy and a beautiful addition to our home. I'm sure they will last a very long time. (We were fortunate to have a very mild two days in January!) Installation was very quick, efficient and really well done. The french doors gave them a little bit of an issue due to the improper installation of the previous doors that came with the house, but they worked their magic with new moldings and a saw, and the end result was stunning. Everyone at WU are just wonderful to work with. They know their poducts, and take pride in their work and they never disappoint. It's so nice that all of the insallers are also animal lovers - especially with our house!

Excellent all around - from sales to installation! They were professional, nice, did great quality work, and cleaned up after themselves. Even one of the co-owners came out to help since one of the guys was sick because they didn't want to cancel. We were impressed! Will use this lovely local company again for our door/window needs! This is our first time using them, and were relieved it turned out so well, after previous poor experiences with other companies.

Window Universe was very professional. I was quoted the cost of replacement windows and the quote was just that...a confirmed quote. I was not given the runaround of discounts and within 15 minutes..another discount followed by a lengthy waste of my time with made up phone calls to “the boss”. The Window Universe crew arrived on time and were very cautious while working in my home....being aware of dirt or mud that may be brought in since it was raining throughout the time they were at my home. The crew did a fantastic job....worked quickly...and cleaned up after and were extremely courteous. I am very satisfied with them. As far as the Window Universe product...I am very satisfied with the product. Beautiful windows....the structure is solid....I have found no drafts....they are secure.....I would highly recommend Window Universe. Angela

From my initial quote till the installing team left my house, this has been a fabulous experience. Window Universe made buying windows simplistic with their straight forward , no bait and switch approach. The initial consultation with Chad was simple. One of the reasons I chose Window Universe is because the sell a great window-The Okna Echo Pro 600, so deciding to move forward was easy. The pricing is straight forward, which made it quick and easy. While waiting on my windows to be made and my installation date, Sharon updated me without fail every Friday. When my windows were installed the installation team was beyond my expectations. Not only were they very skilled, but extremely professional and very down to earth and friendly. I don't usually write reviews...but given the fact of all the horror stories regarding window companies, I felt Window Universe certainly deserved mention. This is a top rate company. They did everything they said that they would do. I give them my highest recommendation.

This company (Window Univers) was top-notch from start to finish. The sales team as well as the installers were just wonderful to work with. Always on time, ready to work for hours in the awful heat, they left their work areas spotless when they left each day. Our two cats and two dogs loved them as well! They were kind enough to even bring the dogs treats ( : We couldnt be happier with our finished project. The windows and doors are beautiful and operate so much easier than our original windows and doors. The price was very reasonable as well. We are already discussing our next project with them. Excellent to deal with from start to finish. Full house of windows and sliding glass door installed. Chad came out for the quote. No high pressure nonsense, they have an excellent product and fantastic customer reviews. You will have your quote in under an hour. No half price games, no promos, just a fair competitive price. Windows were in and installed within 8 weeks of order. The installers Eric and Mark were punctual, neat, thorough and polite. Not subs, permanent employees that have been with the company for several years. Definitely would recommend!

Contacted because of positive reviews on Angie’s List. Easy to set up appointment for estimate. Explanation of products was very helpful and informative in a no-pressure, straight-forward presentation. Pleased with estimated cost. Sent us weekly updates on progress of ordered materials, which arrived in the timeframe they promised. Installation crew was punctual, professional and pleasant to deal with. Installers were careful in preparing their work areas and thorough in their clean-up. Had approached the prospect of replacing 10 windows and a door with some dread even though they definitely needed to be replaced. Couldn’t believe how well the project actually went. Am enjoying looking out my new windows and using my new door!

From start to finish, the installers were very professional. They were on time, the work progressed smoothly, all scrap material and dust were removed and they answered all questions and demonstrated the features of the new windows. The installers were friendly and a pleasure to interact with throughout the two day process. There was also a minimum of time when the old windows were removed and open air was circulated. We appreciated this as it was cold during the installation and they compensated for this by working more quickly.

I would recommend them to everyone. Professional, friendly, and helpful. Every Friday they send you an email with updates. Danny and Kenny did the installation. They did a fantastic job installing, cleaning up and taking old door away. From beginning to end everyone who I talked to and met were great.

Everything about working with Window Universe was a plus. The salesman came out and asked what we where wanting to do. It’s good to be prepared. We had stopped at the showroom earlier in the week for a quick tour of window styles and selection. We told him what we wanted and asked a few questions we had a quote in 30 minutes. 14 windows and a sliding patio door with a transom was right on par for our budget. The measuring process was super easy and fast. The installers were great and asked if we had any special request. The install was done in less than two days and it is beautiful inside and out. We couldn’t be happier. I would use this company again without going out and looking for quotes.

I found Window Universe through Angie's List and received a no-hassle, no pressure estimate from Lance. Shortly thereafter, Will came out to get the final measurements. Once the order was placed, I received weekly updates from Sharon regarding order status and estimated installation dates. On installation day, Seth and Brandon showed up on time and completed the installation within 1 day, keeping everything unbelievably neat and tidy as they worked. The installers were really nice guys that were incredibly skilled at what they do - their attention to detail was fantastic - you can tell that this company truly takes pride in their work. I am delighted with the new look of my windows and am already looking forward to having them back to tackle my living room window project (8 windows). After almost falling for high pressure sales tactics from another well known window replacement company, we are so happy that we found Window Universe. Their price was fair (1/3 of what we had been quoted elsewhere) and there was no pressure to sign a contract. They paid close attention to details, for example, we wanted a color to match our current windows and they made two trips to our house to make sure it was right. The installation went perfectly. They had a very large window to remove and replace. This was done without any issues. The installation crew was very professional and worked very hard to get everything done in one day. They left the work area spotless. The windows look fantastic and we would definitely use them again.

The process went smoothly from start to finish. We initiated the interaction by visiting the Window Universe showroom in Lakewood and Andy gave us a thorough orientation to the product. Once we committed to having the job done, we received regular weekly email updates. Kenny and his crew of two other men arrived promptly in the morning on the installation day and finished the job around 2:30. As each window was completed, they even windexed the glass inside and out. Before they left, they gave us a "tutorial" on the operation of our windows to refresh our memory. They took all the old windows and accompanying debris with them and left the house and yard spotless. There was never any heavy-handed pressure from Window Universe to buy their product and they patiently answered all our questions in a timely fashion. Before finding Window Universe, we contacted one of the nationally-known companies that places the full-page ads in the newspaper frequently, often offering great discounts if you act soon. They send the salesman to your house and then you spend the next 3 hours as a captive audience listening to the sales pitch. Slow and painful! At the end, we were quoted a price that was astronomical, about 4 times as much as we ended up paying with Window Universe. There is no way we would have considered spending that kind of money on windows. It was roughly the price of a small economy car. Before we made our decision, Window Universe gave us a sheet with clear, itemized pricing on it so that we could see exactly how everything was priced. Finally, in the interest of full disclosure, I should say that the windows were installed this month (September), so we haven't yet experienced a northeast Ohio winter to see how they will perform. But it was quite hot outside before and after installation and the old windows did little to keep out the heat. We can already feel the improvement in that department.!

Having been burned by installing over $13,000 worth of Pella windows in 2006 (that all failed just weeks after their lousy 1 year warranty expired), I wanted to be careful. So, I hired this company, based on reviews here, to replace just 1 window, my dining room, last November. It is a simply marvelous window. Opens and closes with ease, attractive, and keeps my home warm in winter...no water or cold air coming in at all. So, I had them come back last month (August 2018) to replace all the rest of the windows, 10 bedroom and my front living room windows. They are amazing. I have not been able to get those Pella windows closed since Fall, 2007. Pella claimed it as my fault the insulation "got puffy" because I opened them a lot over the first summer. Sorry, I did not know I was not supposed to open my windows in the summer. These new Window Universe windows open and close like a breeze. I was so happy I cried. I love these windows, and the company is awesome, from the lady who answers the phones to the guy who comes out for the estimate, to the young fellows who do the install..they work efficiently and cleanly. I am so looking forward to not having to stuff rags around my windows this winter and to being warmer in my house. This company is truly a local treasure!

It went really well. Chad was our initial representative and he explained everything thoroughly and did not pressure us to make a decision at that time. Once we decided to proceed, Will came to do final measurements. We received a weekly email explaining where our windows were in the ordering process. Sharon in the office was always helpful when I had questions. Will and Cameron installed the windows and did a fabulous job. They were kind, courteous of our home (inside and out). We really love our new windows.

Everything was great, from the estimate through the end of the job. Everyone involved was prompt, they seemed like great guys, and the quality of work and product was spot on. The windows and door look (and work!) so much nicer than what used to be there. It's awesome! Windows in other areas of my house have obviously been replaced before, but the windows I just got from Window Universe are so much smoother, and just seem to be of higher quality. Great job all around!

Everyone I talked with was knowledgeable and very friendly. There was no high pressure sale tactics and the first estimate meeting was very quick and informative. I live in a condo and they worked very well with the rules of the association. They supplied weekly updates about the status of my order and schedule the install very quickly. The installers did a great job,(neat,clean and efficient). They even offered to rehang my window treatments. I would definitely recommend this company.
