Sam came out on 4/26 and provided a quote on replacing and repairing several windows. We decided to split the work into three different quotes. We chose to replace 2 windows immediately and Sam gave us options on repairing the bow window to make it last another 3-5 years. We were happy that we were given alternatives and not forced into an expensive option. The guys were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They spent the time to explain the tax savings that we could realize by upgrading our windows. We also appreciated the help from their office staff - Lily. We received weekly updates as to the status of our project. Several of my neighbors stopped by during the project and they commented on how they liked the work being done. All in all, it was a good experience and we will be calling them back to do more work.

First I want to say this was not a simple, take one out and put another one in. I had a water heat register on the wall that was no longer the heating source that was going to need removed, the wall needed to be made larger, siding had to be removed and reinstalled and sides and header needed to be added to accommodate the new door. Some window companies wanted nothing to do with it and suggested getting a construction company to do it. I explained what was going to be needed when I called Sam and he said it wouldn't be a problem but would want to see it to make sure. He came out, we talked about what would be needed, he gave me a price and told me to call if I wanted to proceed. There was no high pressure at all and Sam was such a pleasure to talk to that I immediately felt comfortable. I also had a triple pane door installed due to the fact that we live right by the airport and needed it for sound proofing. When I called Sam a couple days later to tell him I wanted to have the door installed, he told me he would want to bring his installer, Will, with him to make sure it was something they could do before proceeding. I had been very apprehensive on whether or not they would be able to remove this cast iron thing but when they walked in and upon first meeting and talking to Will, I knew he knew what he was doing and immediately felt comfortable that I was in good hands. Sam wrote up the order on my door which included the triple pane windows, decorative between glass panes and all the labor and it came out to less than what I would have had to pay for the door alone at Home Depot or Lowe's. Price is never my only deciding factor because if you get a low price and don't have the quality, the price does you no good. But I knew from the minute I met Sam that this was a company that cared about their quality and were all about customer service. It's such a breath of fresh air to know that there are still companies out there that have a work ethic. Once the order was entered, I was sent weekly updates via e-mail, which for someone like me who is a bit OCD, I loved knowing exactly what was going on. Will and Adam did a great job of installing the door. The first time they were scheduled to install was a rainy day with storms in the forecast so when they arrived they gave me the option of starting or waiting for a better day. We discussed the facts and decided to wait. They re-scheduled for the following week, arrived on time and were a real pleasure to work with. We joked around while they worked but were very serious about what they were doing. They answered all my questions as they worked, they removed that ugly heating unit (which was a real experience), cut the opening for the door to fit and did all the finish work both inside and out. They covered the floors and carpet with several layers of tarp and made sure everything was cleaned up as they went. No one would have ever known they were here. It just looked like it had always been there. After the door was installed, a few days later when I was outside, I noticed a minor issue with the screen the way it sat in the track and called about it which was on a Friday. Sam was out on Monday to look at it and after trying to adjust it to no avail, he just decided to order a new one. There was no hesitance on his part at all. It arrived in a couple of weeks and Sam brought it over to replace. It worked great!! I would absolutely, positively recommend this company for your window or door needs and have already done that. I can't say enough good things about them. Everyone I dealt with was top notch and very down to earth. Sam gave me a little history of how they started their company and I really admire him and Andy for being so young and yet really getting what is important in running a quality company. They will go far and I wish them great success. They really deserve it. Kudos to a job well done. I love my door and it really compliments the new patio that I had installed at the same time.

Everything went great! I really appreciated the itemized pricing. The price was significantly lower than the other 2 quotes I received. No high pressure sales during the sales appointment. The installers that came did a great job. They worked very efficiently and cleaned up well. The new windows and door look awesome! Definitely improves the curb appeal of my house and I have noticed the rooms where they were installed are much less drafty. I would recommend and plan to use them for more windows at my house.

From start to finish, we felt the company personnel were professional and easy to deal with. Andy answered all our questions promptly about the product features and the logistics of ordering, Lily facilitated the appointment schedules, and Will and his crew did a great job installing the windows. Everything went great from the first contact to the last, the company was very professional to deal with. I was able to schedule a lot of things online via email which makes the process so much easier for me. Playing phone tag doesn't do me much good and the fact that I could handle things mostly online was a big help. The sales pitch was one of the best experiences I have had. the product was explained, the price was straight forward and there was absolutely no pressure to buy. That alone made me choose the company. The time from initial contact to installation was very quick and every time I dealt with anyone from the company they were on time and polite and knowledgeable. Installation day went well and the new windows look beautiful. I would definitely recommend this company very highly.

Window universe is awesome. They are incredibly responsive, organized, honest, and professional. Customer service is their primary focus, and I certainly experienced that first hand during my job. Their direct to manufacturer business model allows them to have excellent prices, while not sacrificing on quality. I revised my order several times with Andy, and they were very accommodating each time. Three of the nine windows I needed to replace were double casement windows. In order to replace these with double hung windows, it required an appeal with the city of Cleveland Heights. Unfortunately, we were not granted the appeal and we had to replace with double casement again. However, Andy complete the numerous forms necessary, and also attended the appeal in person. This was greatly appreciated. I will have to replace other windows over the years, and I will absolutely use Window Universe for this.

Installer called day of job to confirm when he would arrive. He arrived on job site timely and did the work professionally. This was repeat business as we decided to get one more window. From the estimate to the installation, all the individuals that I dealt with from Window Universe were professional, polite and knowledgeable. I felt every one was honest, took pride in their work and were a good advertisement for this company. Sam, who gave me the estimate was able to answer all my questions and had good ideas regarding the type of window that would be good for my house. I was given timely updates of how the manufacturing of the window was progressing. When it was completed I was able to have the window installed on a weekend so I did not have to take off work. The installers arrived on time, did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. The window has a lifetime warranty. I am very pleased and would recommend Window Universe. I will be using them in the future to replace other windows in my home.

Very well. They arrived on time, quickly installed the windows, cleaned up and left. About a week later, we had a problem with two windows and they came out the next day and corrected the problems. The sales people we very nice and knew their business. There was no hard sell or pressure made on us to buy.

Very professional staff. Sam was a few minutes late for initial appointment but called to let me know. He was not pushy, answered all my questions, brought sample windows, etc... When I called him with further questions, he always answered his phone. I never got his voice mail. The person that I set the appointment up with, Heather Yannucci, was pleasant, courteous and professional. After I ordered the windows, I was kept informed by email at least weekly of the progress and when they were expected to be ready. The installers were also great. They were professional, courteous, prompt. Chris and the other installer (sorry, I forgot his name) did the best caulking job I have ever seen!! They worked hard and got the entire job done in a day. I was very pleased with the job they did. When I was looking for windows, I received estimates from 4 different companies. Window Universe was not the lowest nor the highest price. However, the professionalism of everyone I dealt with was enough to give me peace of mind that things would be done right, and they were! I waited nearly a year to write my review in case I had any problems with the windows. So far, all is well.

This company was outstanding to work with. Andy, the sales rep, followed through with everything promised. The guys who installed the windows were happy, respectful people, the kind you welcome into your home. I've rehabbed several homes and this group was by far my best experience with window installation. I got weekly updates on the progress of my windows, too. Everything was great quality. I am very happy with the windows and the patio doors are outstanding quality. I highly recommend this company.

Sam was awesome from the start to finish. Very knowledgeable and personable. William and Adam did a marvelous job with the installation of the doors and we were able to reuse the existing storm doors. Everyone was prompt, efficient and courteous. Perfect!

Everything went great! I loved the zero pressure sales presentation and itemized pricing. I was very impressed by the level of communication as the project was in process. The installers finished the work in 1 day. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up very thoroughly. All of the staff from the salesman to the install crew were very nice and helpfull. I would defintley reccomend Window Universe to anyone.

Great quality at a very reasonable price. Service was prompt, efficient, courteous, and conscientious. Owner Sam himself came out several months later to re-install some loose rollers and weather stripping.

Everything is fine! The staff''s demeanor is good. We did not buy windows from them at this time, but everything about their coming over and talking to us were great. My husband got their quote. I was just there to listen to them, and help figure out what we want down the road. Actually, we have not come to a conclusion because we picked a few different people from the Angie's List. They came out and gave us a quote. I do not specifically remember what the quote was for. I think their quote was an average amount. We have a bunch of quotes, and we did not come up with who we're going to choose yet. I am not really sure, but I could see myself picking them.

Very well. The original window was difficult to remove but came out eventually. New window installed & extra interior trim piccas dropped off. Very nice install, professional installation.

This company is SUPERB! From their communications skills to their service, to their pricing, they can't be beat. We wanted one small window replaced above our sink. The outer glass pane had cracked. Sam Steinacker visited our house and was the first sales person to suggest just fixing the window instead of replacing the whole window. Of course we took him up on this, it was a huge savings. Sam came out to replace the glass and we thought he was replacing just the pane of glass but he ended up replacing the whole bottom half of the window for the same price he quoted for the repair. When Sam came out the first time we knew we only wanted the one window fixed but for the heck of it we had him draw up an estimate for replacing all of the windows in the house. The estimate blew us away. It was ~1/3 of all other quotes we have had, and the product he showed us was comparable to everything we had seen from the other companies. Hopefully in the next few years we will have all of our windows replaced. I would highly suggest using them for window replacement, they are an incredible company to work with from top to bottom. They were right on time and it took them only 1hour and 40minutes to replace the windows. I was amazed and I got the response the the 3 man team was the reason. They said if it was a 2 man team it would have taken longer, but it still would have been great I think. The windows are easy to use and look great inside and out. These guys wore booties and put down drop cloths to protect our floors, my wife was thrilled. They took all the old windows with them and there was no mess on the outside of the house. We have already decided to replace the last 7 windows in the house and will be calling these guys again.
