Description of Work: Tuck point entire chimney and various areas of house

Description of Work: He was prompt in coming to our house to look at our problem chimney. He said no work needed to be done at the present time, but to keep an eye on it and call if we perceive any change in the chimney.

Description of Work: I contracted with RG Masonry on 06/08/14 and he began work around the 20th of September 2014. Ron is a busy guy and it takes him a bit to start. My wife and I are 100% happy with his work. He came in early on a Monday with his assistant. They HAND-DUG the new foundation for our brick front porch after breaking up the old one. They installed a completely new porch foundation, complete with a new cinder block center post, which it did not have before. This is what had caused the collapse of the porch in the first place. They also poured and new concrete base slab at the bottom of the foundation. Ron then began putting in the new bricks by hand. He even went to the trouble of locating bricks outside the state that matched our 1944 home. These multi-colored bricks are out of style and only made by one other company in the U.S. He laid all new slabs for the steps and porch and also repaired a smaller rear porch step. All in all, Ron and his assistant were great. He takes great pride in his work and does and excellent job. He is old school and guarantees his work. My father was here at the build and has done masonry in his past. He told me, after having watched Ron, that our porch would outlast our home. Good man, Good company! I would hire Ron again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Came for an estimate of chimney repair. Prompt, courteous and professional, but I just got the feeling he didn't want to do the job. Price WAY out of my range. Perhaps for other work would try again.

Description of Work: I received a prompt return on my telephone call. Ron came out and looked at the job that needed to be done on my front steps. Gave me a thorough explanation of what the job would involve. I also wanted to redo some masonry work on the house. A few years ago I had the cracks fixed but the prior person did not match the mortar. Ron inspected the various places that needed to be redone and showed me samples of the colors of mortar that were available. I obtained a few estimates for the work that needed to be done, and while I liked Ron, I did select another company with a lower price for the job.

Description of Work: Had some foundation bricks repaired under our porch (concrete slab). He was punctual, professional and fast. Great work and made future suggestions for some future work possibilities.

Description of Work: My experience with Mr. George was very positive. He arrived on-time for the estimate, fixed the damper while he was there (no charge), and prepared an estimate while he was there. He worked with me on price. He adjusted his schedule to meet my needs (as I was selling the property and under a deadline), and, because our buyer waived the work in the end, we did not have the work performed. I offered to pay Mr. George for the time he spent working on our estimate and trouble we caused for him to adjust his schedule, etc., but Mr. George declined any compensation. He is an extremely pleasant and amenable man. I hope we can work together in the future.Thank you, Mr. George.Jen Morrow

Description of Work: ron has done multiple projects both inside and outside. the quality of his work is has always been excellent but he doesn't come cheap. i guess you get what you pay for.

Description of Work: He came to give an estimate. The work was more complex than I understood from previous people who looked at it. He described the problem and how it should be remedied. It is a bigger project than I was prepared to undertake, but he seemed to fairly and efficiently assess the issue (leaning parapet wall). He explained things well. If I get this work done he will likely be who I have do it.

Description of Work: AFTER WE DID SOME REMODELING TO OUR FIREPLACE WALL WHERE WE REMOVED HUNDREDS OF BRICKS, I NEEDED ABOUT 10 BRICKS PUT BACK IN MY FIREPLACE SO IT WOULD BE UP TO CODE. THE JOB WAS SMALL BUT OBVIOUSLY SPECIALIZED AND WE CALLED TO HAVE IT COMPLETED.
