They were fine. I did not have any problems with them. They were business-like. They were polite and extremely professional. The quality of their work was very good.

Excellent experience. Repair done during probably busy period-cold snap. Phone conact was polite and professional. Service was exactly what was discussed, professional, quick and done right. Furnace is still working well! I definitely plan on calling this company again for routine maintenance and service.

They are on Angies List and we have been using them. They replaced our 1977 furnace. We had a maintenance check and were told that a crack had occurred and that requires a new furnace. We have been using them for over 30 years for all the maintenance calls. They did the original carrier installation in the 70’s. We needed all new duct work as well because they said that our old cold air returns did not meet the Westlake code standards, so they did the new air-ducts. They did a great job. We did not any other bids, but we thought that the price was fair and it included the air-ducts and all those things.

The installation was done very timely. The technicians did a very neat installation. The new furnace looks so much better than the old one and operates so quietly that except for the house being warm we don't know that it's working.

Myinitial call was promptly answered and service was scheduled. I was advised to call after 8:30 on August 3rd to see where I was on the schedule. About 8:35 I had picked up the phone to call and while dialing I looked in my driveway and the service man was here. Kit wasted no time in analyzing the problem and servicing the unit.

The installer came out, smack dab in between the "...between 12 and 1" timeframe they promised, was very friendly, worked fast, but was very thorough, and cleaned up every bit of the (small) mess that he made...and some of the mess that was there before he showed up! He also provided some tips for taking care of my new system, stayed to make sure everything was running smoothly, no leaks or surprises, and was even polite when he burned himself! "Wow, that smarts!" was as "colorful" as he got, whereas I would have used much more colorful words. (he's ok, BTW.) Great job at a pretty reasonable price. Thanks!

All-in-all, they did a very good job. The workers who came out were nice and they left everything in good order. They were very cooperative and everything so far is good. I would recommend them to others. Their price was right in there with the other people but it seemed kind of expensive.

Called for emergency A/C service today due to leaking water around my furnace. The woman who took my call today was great but the gentleman who called me back was very rude. Before I even finished my sentence he quoted me $143 to come to the door and $$$ per 15 minutes on site. It wasn't the price (although it is outrageous), it was his affect on the phone. Seemed like I was annoying him with the cal and that he didn't want to be bothered. I will never use this company for routine or emergency services.

Everything went well and they are the only company I will use for my furnace and AC.

Our 40-year-old furnace stopped working on a very cold night (10-degree forecast) and they sent somebody within a couple of hours who was able to get it running again. The old furnace was running inefficiently and he made sure we were not in danger. They came back the next day and checked it out again, and sent an estimate for replacing it with several options. After checking other estimates we made the decision and the new furnace was installed two weeks later. At one point prior to making the decision the pilot went out on the old furnace and they talked me through lighting it over the phone (it was after 5 and the on-call technician did this). They removed the old furnace and installed a new furnace, air conditioning, and humidifier. They did a great job of telling us the steps they would take, showing us how everything worked, and cleaning up every day. One of the reasons we hired them was their track record with us, they serviced our old furnace for many years and always did an excellent job -- some of the technicians have been to our house a few times. I am giving them an excellent rating on price, even though others might do it for less, because I believe you get what you pay for and they are worth it. And we really like our new furnace, can't wait for summer to try the air conditioning.

From call to solving the problem with new parts, the entire process took only 2.5 hours. The tech explained the problem, took out the malfunctioning part, explained why it had shorted out and went to get the part, came back and installed it in record time. I was not only impressed by the thoroughness, but speed, professionalism and moderate cost of the overall fix.

Every aspect of the experience was professional and friendly. When I made my initial call, the receptionist was very nice, immediately asked if my house still had heat, (to determine if this was an emergency call or not), asked a lot of questions to make sure the service tech would have the right information before he showed up. Bud, the service tech, called before he came out, as promised, said he'd be here in 10-15 mintues, and was on-time. He asked a lot of questions to determine what was going on. He quickly got to work, showed me exactly what was wrong, took care of the problem and answered a bunch of questions I had about service plans. He was very friendly, professional and cleaned up the wet footprints left on my floor. Without question, I would use Lakewood Furnace again.

I should have had them come out in the fall and check the furnace and I did not, but I would probably have them in the spring to check the air-conditioner.and the whole system. I like that they are responsive, competent and they do a good job. I think that they are trustworthy and I they don?t try to oversell or put in things that I don?t need. The workers are fine and competent and once somebody comes in I don?t have to worry about whether they know what they are doing.

Lakewood Furnace did an A+ job except they left a lot of dust in the basement which took forever to clean up. The dust was from them tearing out the old system. They were professional. They also call before they come. We have used them for a few other things before as well.

We just bought a 1926 home in Lakewood and the furnace was making loud noises. I called Jim to see if someone would come out to give it the "once over". Jim agreed and said we would just have to pay for any necessary service that was provided. Kent came out and looked everything over, told us about the different parts, gave his opinion on age and condition, condition of filters and when they should be changed, as well as answered our questions. Because everything is in good condition and we didn't need a service, he didn't charge us. I thought it was great that he came out, spent 20 minutes with us and didn't charge us. This company was a no show for a scheduled Saturday appointment. I called around 3 and talked to someone that was not able to answer any questions as I was concerned something was screwed up as I was still waiting. I then waited more until almost 6 but then the office was closed and I had to call the after hours number and the answering service took my name and info and said the guy on call would call me. No one still did. Come Monday Lakewood furnace called with an apology and asked if i would like my furnace checked and cleaned free of charge that same week. I took them up on their offer as I have used them prior and liked them. The service guy came promptly at the scheduled time. He again apologized and the only thing I did pay for were for new filters. Lakewood Furnace was very professional in doing the right thing that a business should do when mixups occur-they have kept me happy as a customer and I would still use them again. It appears they had the correct phone number on file (ending in 07) and there was no note inside the door-not sure they went to the right house-think there may have been a number of mix ups. But in the end they made it right.

Got the job done quickly and efficiently.

Arrived on Thursday morning at 08:30AM. Done for the day at 03:00PM. Came back the following day at 08:30AM. Finished after 10:00AM. Old furnace was taken back for recycle. Radiators were drained and refilled after new furnace was installed. I was given two new radiator keys to bleed air from individual radiators. This helps a lot. New furnace works great! Great work and skill! They (Team of two) answered all my questions. New pump is quiet.

Very well. The serviceman was prompt, efficient, and kind.

Great experience, they came out and installed the unit in about 4 hours and did a great job. The A/C works great now. I would definitely use them again!

I called Lakewood Furnace and they were able to get someone out to my house the next day even though it wasn't an emergency situation. They also worked with my availability and let me know that I could get a more accurate estimate of the repairman's arrival if I called early the next day. I did call that next morning and found out that he would most likely get to my house between 12 - 2pm. He actually showed up at 12:00 on the dot! I've never had someone so punctual! The repairman was friendly and did a quick check of my A/C unit. He cleaned off the condenser which he thought might be the majority of the problem - while doing this, he explained the ways that I could best utilize my A/C and what I could do to prevent future issues. He found that the refrigerant was a little low, but after filling it, he let me know that the very slow leak was nothing to be concerned about. He was very honest and helpful. If I ever have any issues with my heater (he let me know what tends to go wrong with that unit so I could keep an eye on it) and A/C in the future, I will definitely be using their services! It was such a relief to find a place that is honest, punctual and low cost.
