They have been taking care of all our problems for about 20 years now. They do the job very carefully and do it well. They try not to harm the greenery when they do the work. I have recommended them to many other people. They are very reasonable as well. They are always here on time, and they call sometimes to ask if they can drop in early. They know their job very well.

Everything went smoothly. Joseph responded to all my calls, they were on time and came back to do some tweaking a week after the installation. They cleaned everything up and were pretty conscious of not leaving footprints or dirt. They encouraged me to call if I have any questions or problems. They seem to be oriented to providing customer satisfaction.

The service was excellent. Joe came out a couple of days after my initial call and gave a rough estimate on the spot followed by a final detailed estimate through email a couple of days later. While he was here for the estimate, he also shelped me figure out and resolve some problems I was having cooling my second floor. The work was completed the following week and took two days. The worker was very courteous, came in early so that I could get to work on time, and even put up with my dog barking at him for most of the first day.

I called Lakewood Furnace and left a voicemail at about 6a.m. Joe got back to me around 8a.m.I described the type of furnace and problem (it wouldn't come back on after it's initial start and set temp). Joe was curteous, sympathetic, and said he'd have his guy call me when on his way to my house in the afternoon. That is exactly what occurred, and I'm very grateful. They did what they said they would, and I didn't have to miss a full day of work sitting around inside a cold house. I met Mike at my house right on time. He wasted no time and went right to work...he was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He showed me exactly what he was doing, and gave me some pointers for maintaining my furnace.

Called to let me know he was on his way and arrived when he said he would. Satisfied with the work, and he answered a question I had. Would use them again.

They were great. I did not watch them work since they were on the roof, so I have to trust that what they did was correct. The unit still works so I guess it was fine. They are really great people to work with. They treat all of their customers the same. They offer some kind of Angie?s List discount.

I contacted these guys because of their rave reviews on Angie's List and the fact that the previous owners of our home used them (there was a sticker on the side of the furnace indicating this). We noticed on Wednesday, 10/14, that the furnace didn't seem to be keeping up - it was kicking on every now and then but it wasn't reaching the temperature at which we had set the thermostat. I left a message for Lakewood Furnace on their "non-emergency" voicemail that night. They returned my call at 7:42am the next morning and said they'd have somebody out between 9 and 10 that morning. I had left a house key for them in a discrete location and they said they'd just leave me a bill to pay within a week. The man I spoke with said that if there were major repairs needed they would call me at work. I came home to a working furnace and a very reasonable bill (esp. with the Angie's List coupon). My one and only suggestion (but hardly necessary) was that they called after the work to say what they had done and how likely was it to occur again. I would not call this a complaint by any means. These guys are professional and prompt and I will be using them again.

They are a local company and are fine. They were they the ones that serviced our furnace when we first came here and since then we have been using them and I thought what they have done has been fine. They installed a new furnace for us a few years ago and I thought the price of that was reasonable.

A service rep came in and checked out the furnace. I had a problem with not getting heat in part of my basement. He cleaned the dampers and then gave a report of items that he checked and he didn't charge me a dime. I need to call him to come back to check the furnace again before I turn it on and I need him to add another vent. I would use this company in the future.

The representative arrived on time as scheduled. He examined my AC unit to figure out why it wasn't blowing cold. He said that the compressor was locked. He tried hard starting it. That didn't work. He hit it with a rubber mallet. That didn't work. So he kicked it and that loosened it up. I was surprised when he told me that he kicked it really hard to try and get it started. Now let me say that this fix has worked and my AC has run fine since it was looked at, however at the time he wasn't 100% sure the compressor was the issue. The other possibility was that there was a leak and it would need to be recharged. He could not check this because the morning he came out it was too cool to evaluate it. He did say that needing to be recharged was a common reason a unit wouldn't blow cold. I was disappointed that they would come out to look at my AC when one of the main things they would check couldn't be looked at due to the temperature. I would have expected them to call and reschedule the appointment. I explained to him that I had to take a day off of work for this appointment so the fact they couldn't check everything they should was a big concern. I didn't want to take another day off of work for this. He did call me back about 15 minutes after he left and offered to come back that afternoon when it would be warmer. I appreciated that he understood my displeasure/concern and tried to address it. I was not available that afternoon and the fix did work, so they did not need to come back out. But at the time I was frustrated that I had paid $95 and not everything was examined that they would have liked to have looked at.

First, sorry for the delay on filling out the page. I do not remmeber the exact date or price, but what I posted is approximate. Their representative was on time, very knowledgable, answered all of my questions, and made recommendations that made sense. After inspection he informed me that the furnace really did not need a full cleaning and was in good working condition. He suspected most likely the tenants had the temperature set a little high, which we confirmed. He also spent time describing what I might do maintain my systems, which he thought would be good for another ten years give or take. No hard sale on services and nothing inconsistent with what I knew to be the case from other sources. Definitely recommend them.

They are always good. They are good at maintaining the old boilers. They come as soon as I make an appointment for air conditioner. They also installed the air conditioner duct work for me.

We have used them for many years. They are A+ in every category.

Lakewood Furnace Company was punctual and did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. I would definitely use them again in the future.

No problems or complaints. Prompt response and quality service with an explanation of the problem and repairs done.

I called for service about 9AM,the office told me what the rate was for the service tec to come out to check it out /repair and that they would call before coming out and that would be before noon. With in the hour Frank called ,performed the repairs, cleaned up, filled out the paper work and was gone.

I really liked Lakewood Furnaces presentation and thoroughness. They provided all of the details beforehand. They were very professional. The job they did was seem-less from start to finish. I would use their services again in the future if needed.

I called Lakewood Furnace (it was after normal business hours) and they had the on-call tech call back - within 15 minutes. Matt responded within an hour and replaced the ignition; the ignition was bad but it turned out the control panel in the furnace also needed to be replaced. The part was ordered the next day and another tech responded by 1pm to replace the control panel. Both workers were very professional and courteous, and very knowledgeable. They were also thorough in explaining the work they were doing. I would definitely hire them again!

They repaired our furnace that went out, as a bird had got in somehow, during nonscheduled hours. They repaired the furnace during nonwork or off hours and it was an emergency call and though they were priced slightly higher, it was fixed by the company and they were very responsive. It was cold outside, the temperature was literally plummeting, and they fixed it during off hours within half an hour. They let me observe and they were very nice. I would certainly go with them in the future again.

The project took most of two days and went very well even though they had to make a couple of adjustments after installation, which were done quickly and efficiently. What really impressed me was the knowledge of boilers and heating systems from all the workers. From the salesman, Joe Miller, the installers Brain and two additional repairmen sent to make some additional adjustments. The final work was very professionally done and all the workers were courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable with old boilers and hot water systems. When completed they removed the old boiler, all the pipes, etc., cleaned the basement floor and were very careful removing shoes when they had to go to rooms to work on the radiators. After installation there were two problems that arose and they came out immediately to correct without any problem and were apologetic that they had to return. With the cold weather we were very impressed how quickly they returned after I called (in one case in 15 minutes!) to fix a part that wasn't working right. The completed work and furnace are working well. We have better and faster heating than we have had for the last 20 years. I would highly recommend this company to do furnace or hot water repair work or replacement of a furnace or boiler system

I called on Saturday morning and received service two hours later. The serviceman was friendly and professional. Excellent from start to finish.

They are pretty trustworthy. I had expected them to come and tell me I needed a new furnace because it is a little older. They were very honest and up-front and said that it should last a few more years. They said that I did not need my ducts cleaned. They were very prompt and on time. I could not have been more pleased with the experience.

He arrived on the time that we had scheduled. He did the work quickly. He was pleasant and knew what he was doing. I will use him again, now that he knows our system.

Service technician phoned as he was on his way, and arrived on time. He was cordial and professional, and explained what he found and his recommended actions. He ascertained that the heating and air conditioning systems, while old, were functioning correctly. He recommended a replacement humidifier and explained why a new humidifier was a better option than a (major) repair. The company owner promptly called me with an estimate for the installation of a new humidifier.
