It went great, from the moment he started to the last day he did an excellent job! The floors look wonderful. he cleaned up, was on time and very friendly!

Extremely well. Floor was in very rough shape, scraped bare in some places, discolored, spotted, minor damage. Mike and his assistant, Steve, showed up precisely on time and worked very efficiently. Their rapport is strongly evident. Prep and first coat were completed on the first day; Mike returned on the second and third days to complete the job. Floor looks like new now. I'm considering refinishing my upstairs floors also, and will hire Mike if I do.

Mike was nothing short of spectacular. He met with me for an estimate within 24 hours of my first inquiry and his estimate was lower than any of the other contractors I had called. He was prompt every time we met up. The project started and ended on schedule. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing, so we could understand the process. Mike called numerous times during and after the project to make sure I was satisfied - and also came back and rebuffed and recoated an area that I was concerned about. With an 86 year old home, my floors were in pretty bad condition, and he made them look phenomenal. Brand new almost. Just a great great experience.

We were very pleased from start to finish. Mike came over to give us an estimate on the same day that I called him. He completed the work as scheduled, and was prompt every day. You can tell Mike puts a lot of pride into his work, and it shows in the finished product--our floors are beautiful and look like new! We're very happy with our floors, and would highly recommend Mike Kapsalis to family and friends.

Mike seems extremely knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. He arrived on time and explained in great detail how he would refinish our floors (products, procedures, timing). We did not in the end hire Kapsalis Hardwood Floors because we found a lower quote from another professional. I wish we hadn't needed to save money because I believe that Mike's craftsmanship is right at the top.

He came in real early and sanded the floors 2 times the first day, came back and sanded them again the second day and put down the first coat of lacquer. Then came back the next morning and put down the second coat and later that night put down the 3rd one.

We had a two week window in which to refinish the hardwood floors of our recently purchased house before the movers would arrive with our household goods from temporary storage. Mr. Kapsalis gave us an estimate on a Sunday, started work on that Friday and the work was complete on Tuesday in time for the finish to cure and be ready to set furniture on. Mr. Kapsalis was very knowledgeable about the type of flooring (oak downstairs and pine upstairs) and what sort of finish and color we could expect. He provided updates on the progress of the refinishing and allowed us to checkout the results of sanding and finishing as he went. Overall, we are very satisfied with the services of Kapsalis Flooring.

We called Kapsalis for an estimate. Mike came the following evening, measured and provided a written estimate with recommendations on finish, stains, etc. He follow-up the next day on his estimate, which was better than most contractors we have worked with in the past. When we decided to go with his quote, he provide a start and completion date. Mike arrived on time and completed the job on schedule. His work was excellent and we are very pleased with our new floors.

Mike is one of the best contractors that I have hired. His quote was prompt and fair. He showed-up on time for the project and completed the project ahead of schedule with minimal disruption to our house. I highly recommend his company.

Mike was very prompt in returning our calls and very patient in helping us determine the appropriate stain. Mike was on time with his estimate of completion and price. The quality of work was excellent. We first had the first floor and stairs complete. This took about 5 days. Mike made the old wood look so good that we had him come back and refinish two bedrooms. We were happy to be able to restore the wood to such a rich look. It took about three days to complete the two bedrooms. Again on budget and time.

Initial quote was quick and to the point. Mr. Kapsalis explained his procedures and finish time expected. Received quote the following day. Went with his company because he re-assured us that if we were not completely satisfied, he would work diligently to appease us. Needless to say, we never had a problem! Very neat and meticulous. Work to his strengths and we were COMPLETELY SATISFIED. I would recommend using Kapsalis Hardwood.
