Tim (Vice President of Sales) was professional, thorough and kind. Presented options and information without high-pressure sales techniques. He believes in the quality products his company offers (and for good reason). The storm door chosen was not the least expensive option, but it was money well-spent. The whole transaction including installation went smoothly. Would use Integrity again in the future without hesitation.

Two and a half days later, all the windows were installed. They look wonderful and I am very pleased with the window installation process. Two of my neighbors stopped by and loved the windows. I was happy to highly recommend Integrity Windows and Doors to them.
Description of Work: Replaced 25 (9 double) casement windows with Polaris vinyl windows. Pat and Tim (window installers) we're very professional, polite and worked as a team. Tim, salesman, answered all my questions and described the window process. The window installers placed tarps down to catch the old window mess and hauled it all away.

They worked withme to get a price that I found acceptable. The installer was great. Windows stopped air infiltration and noise. I didn't know that the border for the slider would take away about 4" of viewing area of windows--that was my fault that I didn't ask to see a brochure that would have shown that feature to me. Overall I am satisfied.

It went...easily, and that is the critical thing for me. Salesman came to the house, showed us our potions, made some suggestions, and quoted a fair price. We made the deal and had the final measurements taken. The dorr came in on schedule, ad they had it in in less than a half day. The work was done very well, and the door was exactly what we wre looking for.

The whole experience was so good I'm not sure where to start.....I shopped a lot of different window companies and brands of windows. After exhaustive research, I decided on Polaris brand windows. They are a fantastic window made not far from where I live. I met with some of the big national companies. What a mistake! They presented a high pressure pitch and wanted me to sign a contract before they left. That's not how I operate so I was turned off. I happened to find Integrity Window by accident. I met a man at a public rec center in the parking lot. He was driving a truck with the company logo on it. Turned out the gentleman was very knowlegeable about windows and was a customer of Integrity. He was such a believer in the company that he drives their truck with a logo on the weekends just to spread the word about the company. It also happened that Integrity sold Polaris windows, which is what I wanted. Integrity is also a locally owned company and I am a firm believer in buying local. After contacting the company, the owner, Carey, personally came to my house to look at the job. He is a super nice guy and didn't pressure me in any way to buy from him. He gave me some honest information about his company and Polaris windows. He never once pressured me to buy and gave me realistic expectations of the cost and what the job would require. After a few days to chew on all the facts, I decided to go with Integrity. I met Carey at his office in Lakewood and discussed options. He was totally honest with what he thought I needed and made a few suggestions on some things I had never considered. His honest and laid back approach sold me on his company who already represented a fantastic window manufacturer. Our meeting at his office was like hanging out with old friends. It was so different with the other companies approach to the process. Overall, Integrity turned out to be the best value for the money. When deciding on a contractor, keep the value equation in mind, and not just bottom line price. Although I have to say that Integrity made me an awsome deal that couldn't be beat! The windows took about 3 weeks to be made and delivered. Carey gave me a realistic time line and my expectations were met. His installer came out to look at the job and get an idea of what he had to do. We all knew it was a labor intensive job due to the fact that my old windows were aluminum triple tracks which are hard to remove. If you are reading this and have alumium windows, be aware that they are hard to get out and it is best left to professionals! Speaking of professional, the installers, Tim and Pat, could not have done a more fantastic job. I can't convey in words what a beautiful job the two installers did. The guys busted their butts removing the old windows and preparing to install the new ones. They were prepared for the job and very careful how they approached the install. They were careful in and out of my home and never left a mess behind. They were totally methodical with each different window installation and took their time making sure that things were done correctly. Pat, the lead installer, told me how much he loved his line of work. The job the guys did totally reflects the fact that they love what they do. The job was completed in a few days, no rushing to leave the site. They made sure everything was correct and clean before they left. The gentleman who did the coil trim, Tim, did a fantastic job! I was blown away at his attention to detail and craftsmanship. The coil trim is an important part of the finished look and you can't find a better guy to do the work. While the installers were here, we got to know eachother. These two guys were some of the best people I've had the pleasure of working with. I trusted them completely and I felt comfortable leaving the house and letting them do their work. I don't think you will find two more honest, hardworking, guys in the business that love their job that much. It was my pleasure to feed the guys and give them all the coffee they could drink. Please remember to treat the guys doing the job well. Feed them and make sure they have stuff to drink. Their job is tough, and working in a strangers house has to be harder. These guys are the unsung heros and deserve more praise then I can write here. The whole process went better than I expected. I was treated like a friend and the company was very honest about what I could expect throughout the process. There were a couple of minor snafus throughout the process, but they were handled well. Anyone going into a large renovation project needs to be aware that there is always minor issues and it should be expected. If you don't expect minor bumps in the road no matter what the project is, you are setting yourself up for dissapointment and frustration. It is the way the issues are resolved is what counts. The Integity team handled the very minor issues with professionalism and honesty. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience with such a great group of people. My house is totally transformed and feels like a new home. My family is thrilled at the transformaion and we would recommend Integrity to anyone. In fact, I hope that Carey shares the before and after pictures of my house as the new windows changed the entire place! Hats off to Integrity, I couldn't have found a better company to work with!

I am writing this a bit after the fact, but had realized I never reviewed my experience with this company. I will try to remember to the best of my knowledge. Sales person was very honest seeming-did not try to oversell me or use any gimics. Felt I could trust him. Ordered the windows that day. Took the windows a bit to get installed-cant remember the details but I do remember getting a bit impatient since winter was starting soon. Once they were installed, looked beautiful, cleaned up great and have had no issues since! Price was great compared to others-sorry I cant remember how much tho! Highly recommend.

The sale and installation process went very well. The sales rep was very responsive and helped us through the whole decision process on type of windows, color, and price. He was knowledgeable and I didn't feel like he was trying to steer us one way or another. He also informed us of the credit the energy company will reimburse with the installation which was helpful to the cost. The installation was done by another company and I was pleased with them as well. They were not able to make the initial appointment but they informed us promptly. It took the guys the entire Saturday to install the windows. They were very thorough and cleaned up after themselves well. I am pleased with the installation.

The salesman and the installers were very professional. They arrived on time and kept me informed of their progress. All old windows were removed from the property along with any debris from their work. The storm door had to be special ordered because current sizes available did not fit the front door opening of my 99 year old house. The installer was a master craftsman and was able to work with the wood trim around the door frame to give the storm door a perfect fit. A few days later the owner of the company came by to check the work and thank me for giving them my business. I felt this company took great pride in their product and in their work. I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to several of my neighbors.

How did it go? It went great! I did my usual process of talking to three providers. Integrity lived up to their name from the sales visit through installation and followup. I was shown a number of options, the differences explained, and the sales person made some suggestions as to which styles would fit the home. He also helped match entry door style to storm door style so that window lines would match up. The installers were right on time, cheerful, and very professional. Aside from needing to touch up the trim paint on the inside (which I expected), the installation left everything looking beautiful. The quality of the doors are a vast improvement over what I had and stood up well during this past relentless winter. If congress would bring back the home energy tax reduction, I'd have Integrity back to do some windows.

I ordered these doors in August 2013. The entry storm door needed to have a curved top so it was difficult to source a manufacturer. After agreeing to terms with the aggressive yet unknowledgeable salesman, I was given a 6-8 week lead time for installation. After approximately 10 weeks, the doors were delivered to my home. After permanently removing my old entry storm door, they put the new one up on the hinges and discovered that the manufacturer did not drill out the lock set. Since they only do basic installation work, they told me they were either going to have to have it done by a master carpenter or send it back to the manufacturer in California. They then took down the door and left without giving me an idea of when they would be back. During this time, I did not have a storm door at all as they permanently removed the old existing one. After another 4-5 week wait, the installers returned and put up the door. Upon installation, the installers sheared off the inside handle of the door! They said they needed to order a new one but that would take several weeks. For the next month, I could not open my door from the inside! When people came over, I told them I couldn't open the door and that they needed to turn the handle themselves from the outside. Just ridiculous. The new handle took 4 weeks to arrive because the manufacturer was closed for two weeks for the holidays! Once it arrived the installers came back and put in the new handle when I was not home. When I returned to my home, I found that they installed the closer chain in the wrong location and the door only opened up 70% of the way! Upon closing the door, I discovered the door did not latch entirely shut and the handle plate was installed crooked. Fuming, I called the owner Cary. He was very apologetic and promised to fix the issue. Another week went by when I got a call from a different installer that Cary hired to rectify the situation. After his initial visit, he promised to come back and remove the door so he could work on it at his shop. After another two weeks or so without a storm door, my new door was properly installed. To this day, the door does not open all the way like it should but I was just tired of dealing with Integrity and decided I would fix it myself in the Spring. All told, this simple project took FIVE months to complete! During that time, my house was without an entry storm door for over seven weeks. I was repeatedly given the excuse that they do not use this door manufacturer very often and that it was all their fault. In reality, this was almost exclusively an installation issue with Integrity Window. The only thing I can peg on the manufacturer is that they were closed for two weeks over the holidays. If Integrity does not know how to properly install round top wooden doors, they shouldn't offer them for sale. The only reason I did not give this provider an "F" is because the owner, Cary, acted with a high degree of integrity (pun intended). He did what he could to rectify the situation. It is my understanding that the salesman and primary point of contact prior to me going directly to Cary has been let go. Update: December 2015 My wood entry storm door is completely faded after only two years. It arrived a deep mahogany and now looks like white oak. Integrity should be ashamed for offering this door for sale. Oh, and the door handle issue was never resolved. I still can't have just the storm door open for fear of my dog running out the front door because the handle never latches correctly. This purchase has been a complete and total waste of money.
Description of Work: Installed an entry storm door and a side storm door. While the side door installation went smoothly, the entry storm door was a total nightmare. The project took three times longer to complete than originally promised. They had not business selling me a wooden round top storm door since they had limited history with the manufacturer and no idea how to properly install it themselves! If you use them, make sure they've installed the product you're ordering at other homes without issue. Ask for references.

We eventually did fix the door after having spent a combined total of apx. 30-40 man hours at our own expense, and we even cut the final bill $150 for inconvenience. You see, we bend over backwards for our Angie’s List customers, and despite some aggravations along the way (most of which were not of our own doing), we hoped to at least get a non-response from the customer. Boy, were we wrong! The customer wrote a scathing “D-rated” review of us (mentioning not a word about Coppa Woodworking), we are a small business that worked SO HARD to resolve his difficult and unusual product requirement. We could understand such a review if we just “blew it off” and didn’t try . . . or communicate . . . or care . . . but we did just opposite, every step of the way! Here is how our side of the story went: Recently, a customer, invited us, into his home to solve a couple of door issues. One was easy: a square-top, standard size storm door…easy, done! The second door, not so easy. He wanted a wooden, round-top screen door, a product that we advised UP FRONT was not a usual request, and that we would work with him to resource a manufacturer and pick something he likes. We found a company, Coppa Woodworking of California, via the internet, and spent many hours reviewing options and meeting with the customer at his home, at his convenience to pick out what he wanted. This project was a product category in which we had no previous experience or knowledge…which the customer knew. The door was ordered with standard hardware. Later on, the customer advised that he wanted to upgrade the hardware, which we coordinated with the manufacturer and advised of additional costs. Coppa never advised that the hardware had to be “mortised” into the door and frame, a difficult and time-consuming process. It took a full two months for Coppa to complete the order and ship us one door. We ordered the door late September 2013 and received shipment early November. We scheduled installation around the Holidays at the customer’s convenience, but unfortunately during the installation the upgraded hardware was defective and broke. The installer tried to make it work, but unintentionally made it a bit worse. At our own time and expense, we tried to “trouble-shoot” the problem locally, with several Integrity people visiting the customer residence, but nothing worked out. We spoke with Coppa via phone about replacement hardware, but their factory was closed down three weeks for Christmas and New Years. Immediately upon reopening, we phoned in an order for the replacement hardware and requested 2-day shipment to help expedite the situation. Their clerk failed to honor that request and put the shipment in at the end of the week for regular land delivery, a process which further delayed the project a couple of weeks. Of course, the customer was advised of these developments along the way. When the replacement hardware arrived and we scheduled the repair, that is when we realized the full extent of the problem, with having to “mortise” the handle. Also, the winter weather was brutally cold, not conducive to working outside. So – and again, at our own time and expense—we removed the door and brought it into our shop to properly fix it indoors. Like we stated at the beginning, we bend over backwards for our Angie’s List customers. Regard, Cary J. Slabaugh President

Ordered the door from their salesman who, in turn, had to have someone else come out to measure the door. The door was delivered in the wrong color. Was replaced with a door in the correct color but there was a defect in the inner materials of the window panel of the door. Had to be replaced again. Each time there was a problem the owner of the company stated that this was the problem of "the factory". Even though I repeatedly stated that I did not order from the factory, I ordered from Integrity, my comments were disregarded. I had this same problem with this company about 2 years ago when I ordered a window for the rec. room of the same house I ordered the front door for. The window came in from "the factory" with the wrong measurements. I was told, then, that the fault laid with "the factory". I gave them a second chance with the door, but will never use them again.

At the end of the day all the work was done exactly the way it was ordered and everything was perfect! That's all I can promise. I wish I could click my heals make everything go perfectly all the time, but that's not life! There were several other jobs for this same customer that went flawlessly! Unfortunately those positive events never hit the key board. Regards, Cary J. Slabaugh President

The guy that did the work was simply amazing. He was top notch and top quality. The door is absolute perfect fit. I have nothing but outstanding things to say about the installer. The salesman on the other hand, I was very unhappy with. We were pressed for time to get the door in and he said he couldn't get it that fast. So we were gonna go somewhere else and he said "Wait a minute," he did some calculations and says "Oh sure, I think we can do it. We'll put a rush on it and we can get it there." When the installer showed up to do the measuring, he said "There's no way the door be in that time. Here's how long it takes." He was right on money and it come in the original time the salesman said. So it was my opinion that the salesman changed the story to get the job. I ended up not paying them right away. The insurance did reimburse for it. I'd be very hesitant to use them again or I really have to deal with somebody else. The price was dollar close to the insurance.

I called to receive an in-home quote and they were very flexible with my schedule and came that same week. Gerry was our salesman and was very nice and informative. The quote was just a bit higher than another company with comparable product and service, but I decided to go with them to help support local business. Due to one of our living room windows getting broken during a storm, timing was a big part of my decision making process. After talking with Cary about getting them installed as quickly as possible (hopefully within 3 to maybe 4 weeks), I was told that the windows would be ordered on Friday November 8th, and would arrive to them on the 25th and then we would schedule an installation date. The afternoon of the 25th I called the office and spoke with someone, stating my name and that I would like to try and schedule my installation. The associate said he had seen that my windows came in off the delivery truck and would have someone call me back to schedule the installation. A week went by and I had heard nothing. So I called later on the following Monday (Dec. 2nd) and left a voicemail specifically asking for Cary to return my call. The following morning I received a call from Gerry returning my call. After trying to explain the situation and why I was frustrated for not getting a call back for a week, he explained that the normal timespan between ordering the windows and the install can be 4-6 weeks. I made him aware that the windows had been sitting at their office for the past week, and that I had spoken with Cary who said it would be possible to get them installed in 3 weeks. I was not frustrated that the windows had not been installed immediately, I just wanted to schedule the installation so I could make my schedule work around when they were available. Apparently there was not clear communication, but Gerry then spoke with Cary and called me back saying that they could install them that Thursday and apologized for what had happened. I was very appreciative of the quick install. Then came install day. I came home to meet the installers and let them in and show them around. The two men were extremely nice and courteous. As they were unloading the windows, they notified me that two of the sashes had arrived cracked from the manufacturer, and replacements had supposedly already been ordered. For whatever reason, only two of the screens had come. Those were also ordered. Due to the time of year and light restrictions, the installers had to finish the last few windows the following morning. Not a problem. Having concerns about the durability of the windows I ordered, I called Cary to express these concerns and get a bit of an explanation. I received a very nonchalant apology about the situation, and an explanation that this happens every once in a long while and that replacements had been ordered. This was the part of situation that irked me. The replacements came in on December 23rd, and they came to finish the project today (12/30). Apparently the wrong replacement sash was ordered for one of the windows. So now I will have to wait another 3 weeks until this project can hopefully be finished. Overall, if I ever need more window or door work done I will consider Integrity, but it won't be without a bit of skepticism. The quality of their work is excellent and price is competitive, just my unfortunate sequence of events has left a bit of a sour taste.

There was a chain of events which we had no control over. The factory we use has been with us for 12 years and are pretty darn good, but they are not perfect. We did everything we could from our end as best we could but your dissatisfaction is warranted. Just like any other distributor, we unfortunately do not have direct control over factory production. All I can control is the sales and installation...which sounds like you were happy with. Thank you, Cary J. Slabaugh, President
