This job involved a complete bathroom gut--to the studs. Imperial removed the tub, sink, everything. Worked with Diane at Imperial on the design. She is talented and has good insight into possibilities for the project. Imperial (actually it was George and Patrick), installed a new shower--no tub; sink and vanity, cabinets, recessed medicine cabinet and hallway cabinet. Also replaced the floor. There were some flooring issues with the original layout and that required an adjustment. We were kept informed throughout. A different type of threshold was needed and George came up with this wonderful oak threshold--blends so well we didn't notice it at first. This is an example of their thoughtfulness with the little things. George and Patrick were excellent. Showed up at 8 and left at 4. It was a pleasure working with them. They are consummate professionals and the work reflects their talent and skill. Imperial did our kitchen 15 years ago and will updating it later this year. We enjoy working with Imperial. They are professional and make what could be a difficult situation (having the house torn up) a good experience. And, since this was our only bathroom, the guys put the toilet back on each night.

From the day I walked into Imperial until the day the job was completed, I was completely satisfied. The showroom can be overwhelming because of all the beautiful products, however, Diane helped me narrow down my search based on what I was looking for. The work itself was done professionally, the kitchen was cleaned up after each day's work. The ceramic tile ( with 'random' accent tiles) is gorgeous. Diane was very helpful with pointing out the pros and cons of different 'accessories' I looked at. She was very responsive to some changes in the original blueprint. I have an old house (1918), the electrical was tricky but they did a wonderful job.

After 10 days, I phoned the store to see how my quotes were coming. They called me back with ball park quotes. They seemed too busy or uninterested in my business. Showroom is beautiful and contains many different products pertaining to kitchen remodel--only wish they would have been as accommodating as their showroom! Company consequently has called me three times to request I change my ratings. They agreed that they remembered me and my situation, but still requested I change my grades. I had 'F' on Responsiveness and Punctionality which I changed to 'D'. This seems to be a good company, but beware, do not post poor grades on them or they will be relentless with you to change them (defeating the whole purpose of Angies List).

Not very responsive to request; when notified of cost for supplies requested supplies minus shower base- have not heard from them since; hired another contractor

We actually signed with them to do our bathroom and then got out of it within the three-day period. They have done a lot of bathrooms but they haven't done a lot of steam showers, which are kind of tricky. After doing our research on the internet we found out that the way they were going to go about it wrong according to what we saw on the internet. We decided that we better not let them start tearing down our walls. The girl we dealt with was great but she has since left the company. They were professional and let us out of the contract without any hassle but we thought the way they were going to do the shower was not correct.

Excellent customer service, start to finish. They were very respectful of our budget and worked to get us the best materials we could afford. The work was done in two weeks mostly by one amazing man (Dave) who made it all fit together in our nearly century-old house. He arrived on time and kept us apprised of progress each day. Our new kitchen is wonderful--highly functional and beautiful--and we could not be happier. Would recommend this firm without hesitation.

Dave was awfully nice, but on his own schedule. He showed up faithfully every day, until I halted him, so we could get the room painted - he didn't stop when I asked him to stop for this. Nice looking bathroom, but I wish we were given the choice of tub and a few other things..nothing that isn't livable, though. However, after less than a couple of months, we had difficulty with the plumbing -took six weeks for them to respond, but did come and fix things.

This company is extremely honest! After calling and setting up an appointment, they called me back to let me know that I would be able to get a lower cost elsewhere because they use another contractor for their glass block work, which I had already called to get an estimate from. Nice to not waste my time!

They did great. The designer was good to work with and always listened to my ideas, and she could always figure out what I wanted. She did great with the decorations without overwhelming my smaller bathroom.

This is the second bathroom we have used Imperial to remodel. They are great. Darla helped us pick out every aspect of the bathroom and made great suggestions to get us in to the best products and within our budget. She was just as picky about the finished product as we were. She took extra time to come and see the bathroom, help us pick out paint and even find us a better match for the threshold. Dave did a great job on installation and was done in 4 days. He is very respectful of the house and we were comfortable enough to leave him the key and didn't need anyone to watch the house. They are always very attentive and available for any questions or issues.

Excellent! This Co. is honest/genuine/ and they really help guide you thru all options and budget restraints.

Looking at all the options for bathtubs, showers, tile etc., was fun and discussing my project with the designer went well also. However, once the design was done it was too expensive, plus I didn't feel that the designer took into consideration the character of my house (which is >70 years old) and the very modern bathroom design did not meld well with the rest of the house. I had two other estimates for the same project, one at $15,000 and one at $20,000 which is more in line with what I want to spend.

This was a great experience. I liked that they had a showroom to visit where we were able to pick out all items. Rick was truly helpful and even made suggestions to improve the remodel and saved us money! He also designed a vanity that was perfect for our small space. The price was right where we were expecting it to be and there were no hidden charges. The work was done within the time frame given with no trouble. Dave was very courteous and conscious of what we needed done and how we wanted it. He even came back to install a shower rod that was not included in the remodel originally. Imperial gave great customer service throughout the process. I truly appreciate the help with our project and the bathroom is beautiful and worth every penny. We are planning on using them again when we work on our next bathroom project.

We met with Anthony on our first trip, told him what we wanted, and he came to our home and took measurements. We discussed what we wanted. He drew up a plan with what he called ''his'' bathroom. We went over each item. Many he selected, we chose to have in ''our'' bathroom. It was a good way to see the difference in cost between various choices. He tended to do middle of the line rather than pushing for the highest priced items. He was very good in presenting pros and cons of various products. Explained that because of health problem with hearing that it was essential that we be absent from the home while work was in progress. He worked well with us in coordinating activities and meeting our time frame. Gave detailed itemized contract with costs of each item and what was to be done. Was very patient and thorough. Slight problem getting the permits from the city in time to start and did not like paying 50% of bill when signed contract in Oct when work was scheduled in mid-January.

Do not recommend this company at all. It took them 5 months to do a simple job: put in a tub surround and bathroom floor. This company had to come out 5 times before all the sloppy errors were completed. Examples: There was a matchbook under the toilet, when I asked why, I was told the floor is crooked. THEY put in the new floor! Shower wasn't usable for months, sink not hooked up, plaster and garbage left for me to clean up. What I bought thru their company was NOT used, but a cheaper version put in (was I not supposed to notice?) Just sloppy and unprofessional. My rug is ruined and they broke a fixture. I went and got another one, they broke the second one. I had to replace again. Etc, etc, etc!!! They would come out one day, then disappear for a week and a half. This was the worst experience I ever had.

ALWAYS ASK FOR GEORGE, HE DID A GREAT JOB

WE GOT AN ESTIMATE ($33,000) FROM IMPERIAL TO REMODEL OUR LAKEWOOD KITCHEN AND REMOVE A WALL BETWEEN THE KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM, PUTTING IN ITS PLACE A BAR AND OVERHEAD CABINETS. THE ESTIMATE WAS $33,000 TO REMOVE ALL CABINETS AND THE DIVIDING WALL, PUT UP NEW CABINETS AND INSTALL NEW COUNTERTOPS AND APPLIANCES. WE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED IMPERIAL AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THE ONLY REASON WE DIDN'T GO WITH THEM WAS ANOTHER COMPANY OFFERED TO REFINISH OUR FLOORS AND INSTALL RECESSED LIGHTING, IN ADDITION TO INSTALLING NEW CABINETS AND COUNTERTOPS, FOR ABOUT THE SAME PRICE. ANDY WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL AND PATIENT WITH US. SINCE THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE HIRED SOMEONE TO DO WORK ON OUR HOUSE, WE HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS. HE TOOK HIS TIME WITH US, EVEN CALLING BACK TO SEE IF WE HAD ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS. THEY'RE ALSO VERY FAMILIAR WITH OLD HOMES IN WHICH NOTHING IS STANDARD.

WORK CREW WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND VERY CLEAN. MINIMAL DISRUPTION TO HOUSEHOLD ROUTINE WHILE JOB WAS COMPLETED. WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME. DESIGNER WAS CONSCIENTIOUS, EASY TO DEAL WITH AND A GOOD LISTENER. WE ARE DELIGHTED WITH QUALITY OF WORK AND BEAUTIFUL DESIGN OF FINISHED BATHROOM.

VERY EXTENSIVE PROJECT THAT LASTED ABOUT 6 MONTHS INCLUDING PLANNING. VERY IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE. EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH PROFESSIONALISM.

IMPERIAL LIED TO US ABOUT HOW LONG THE JOB WOULD TAKE AND ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT LEAVE A JOB OR SPLIT UP A TEAM UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPELTELY FINISHED. WE NEVER HAD A FULL TEAM AND THE JOB TOOK 17 DAYS, NOT THE 5-6 WE WERE TOLD. MIKE AND SEAN, WHO PERFORMED THE WORK, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND WERE VERY FRIENDLY. SALESPERSON DID NOT CONTACT US ONCE AFTER WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT. HAD A NO CALL/NO SHOW BY FOREMAN AFTER HE SCHEDULED TO HAVE A CABINET DOOR REPLACED. EXCELLENT WORK BY INSTALLERS, BUT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM OWNER, SALESPERSON, AND FOREMAN.

GEORGE WAS EXCELLENT. HE DID A GREAT JOB.

VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK. REALLY LIKED THAT THE GENTLEMAN WHO DID PLANNING TOOK LOTS OF TIME TO PICK AND CHOOSE. HAD A LARGE VARIETY OF PRODUCTS. VERY PATIENT. THEY TOOK EXTRA CARE TO KEEP EVERYTHING CLEAN. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. ASK FOR GEORGE!!!!!! HE IS FANTASTIC!!! VERY GLAD THAT I CHOSE THEM.

USED FOR BATHROOM REMODELING. DID SOME TILE REPLACEMENT AND PASTERING ON BATHROOM WALLS. CLEAN, NEAT, CONGENIAL. WORKERS FINISHED IN 2 1/2 DAYS AND EVEN CAME ON A SATURDAY TO FINISH THE JOB.
