MB Link Refinishing

The first man came in and explained the 2 man procedure that would take 2 days. He took about an hour or so to prep the tub and told us when to expect the 2nd person. the 2nd person came did his portion. He let us know that we could not use the tub until the next night after he came back and checked his work. Both men were very courteous and professional.

Contacted the company and they got a technician out within a few days. The technician was friendly and helpful and communicated well all of the steps. I was happy with the refinishing except for one minor issue. I contacted the company and they got a technician out right away to fix. Overall I was very pleased with the high level of service and how quickly they responded.

Good responsiveness to get back to me to look at available dates. We have a tight time schedule on our end as we are selling our house and that they could not meet at expectation at the moment.

I was quite impressed with the first team member who came to tape down and prep the bathroom so that no spray would get anywhere but on the designated surface, and then acid washed the tub so the epoxy would stick. Then the team member who came to spray the bathtub was lovely and thorough. Overall I was very impressed by both members of the team and was pleased with the quality of their work. However, I was disappointed by three aspects of the job: 1. No one asked if I wanted the shower sides of the bath sprayed down as well as the tub; when I asked the second day, they did say yes, it could be done -tub and surrounding shower for all one price. Alas, it was too late to do it at the same time. In hindsight, I should have asked and I wish someone would have offered. I am willing to have them come out in the summer to do the sides, but it will be another few days of epoxy fumes which I really dislike. 2. I am disappointed that the 'nonslip surface' coating is not strips, as I had hoped, but just a bit of rough grit sprayed at the bottom of the tub. I still worry about slipping and hope if they come out to do the sides of my tub, they can really increase the nonslip coating. 3. No one told me when I ordered the service completed that it was a two day service-the first day for the tub re-glazing and the second day for caulking. If I had known, I would have scheduled for a time where I did not have to work on the second day. I was really disappointed that I had to take time off work for the caulking, although again, the gentleman who did it was kind and polite and thorough.

The people I dealt with on the phone and in my house were very professional and helpful. However, the quality of work was poor and I would not use this company again. The time was changed to earlier in the day for the work, which was fine, but they did not tell me there would be a follow up visit the next day. The follow up visit was Saturday at 9:30 and I was called at 9:00 with an apology and explanation that they did not work on the weekends. When I explained I was not available on Monday he offered to come on Sunday. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the finish of the tub- there were rough spots on the corners and much dust in the paint on the sides. He was very professional and helpful, offering to wet sand the tub. I believe he did the best he could with the equipment etc he had but I remain dissatisfied with the work. I expected a smooth finish throughout the tub but the rough corners were similar to the texture before the refinishing.

James was the prep tech that provided a courteous phone call stating his arrival time. Elvis was the spray tech. Both techs were polite and courteous, maintained cleanliness and answered all questions. The tub looks great and will recommend the service to anyone that needs bath refinishing services. The tub looks like new!

This was a very good experience from the first phone call to Lisa at MB Link, Elvis was prompt with the quote, and the crew did an excellent job with the refinishing. They were very clean, leaving no over-spray or dirt behind. The entire job was done above our expectation. Very professional.

Workers were polite and prompt. Covered all my cabinets well so not to get paint everywhere. Finish on counter looks great and clean! Bathtub looks great as well! Would definitely recommend them to anyone and would definitely use this company again in the future!

I called Lisa at there main office and talked to her a few times regarding re-finishing my tub, i have spoke with a few different places and i really felt like i should pike them after i spoke with her a final time. She described there warranty and a few other details on how they do the re-finish. When it was the day of the appointment I got a phone call from the prep guy saying he was on his way, which is nice when your trying to get ready in the morning, when he showed up he was very professional and did a great job prepping for there awesome paint guy Elvis. He came in and introduced himself and asked a few questions. They set up a exhaust fan to help pull the fumes out of the house. Everything from this point on was just a waiting game on the paint to dry. BTW i opted for the non-slip additive which is SUPER NICE!!! Elvis came back the following day to clean up the tape and protective paper they use to help wth overspray. He did a awesome job caulking the tub. I can not believe how well it turned out!

Well. I liked that they exhausted the fumes.

It was a longer process than I expected, 3 different visits over 2 day period, but not a problem. Cannot use tub for 2-3 days so be sure you have an alternative. Work was very well done, cleaned up everything. Some slight residue, but I believe that is to be expected with spray process.

It went very smoothly. It was very quick from first call to refinishing. Good people.

Great. It looks like new and has a slightly rough finish to prevent slipping. Apparently when our house was being built the workmen used that tub to clean their tools and for other reasons. It left the tub deeply etched and stained. I didn't notice for several years because that is my son's bathroom. By then it was too late to tell the builder. I am thrilled with how the process turned out. If the finish lasts, then the job was a complete success. Of course, in order to preserve the finish, I will follow instructions and not use anything harsh to clean the tub. Very pleased with the outcome.

I purposely waited 2 months before submitting this review so that I could see if I was still as impressed now as I was then. I am still amazed at the great new look of my bathtub !

I hired M B Link to do the refinishing. The finished product is beautiful. They did an excellent job - the refinisher was very professional and careful. I could tell that he took a lot of pride in his work. I would readily hire them again if I needed a job done.

My experience with MB was perfect from the first phone call through the end of the job. Polite and helpful during the first call, scheduled within a few days, arrived on time first day and also on the 2nd day for the final inspection, polite when I spoke to the people who did the work and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. The entire experience is what it should be with any contractor. Will definitely use them again!

Scheduling was quick and easy (less than a week), and the finished product is perfect! In addition, the employees were very helpful and professional. The in-home technician was very polite and willing to answer any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking to refinish their tub, rather than replace it.

The service as excellent. Everything happened as was scheduled. The technicians explained what they were going to do and reviewed the steps as they were completed.

I was on a time crunch and they were able to provide services for next day at a price almost half of that of my other bid. The owner and the tech were courteous, responsive and professional. I would use them again.

I am absolutely thrilled with my bathtub transformation. They arrived on time and were very professional. They thoroughly protected the other bathroom areas, and their time estimates for completion were right on track. The final product exceeded my expectations. I'm showing all of my friends the before/after pictures (which I've attached in this review). Words are inadequate. My ugly, blue 1960's bathtub now looks like a new 21st century bathtub.
