MB Link Refinishing

It was excellent. The service was good, the price was actually lower than they had quoted originally. They were clean, efficient, left no mess and did a great job. The tub is 50-60 years old and now it looks brand new!

I was extremely pleased with the work that was done. My tubs look brand new. They were the best and I definitely would use them again. Highly recommend.

Did a marvelous job. Told us what was going to happen acts how long it would take. Very impressed w the outcome of the tub and the slip proof base of the tub. They cleaned up very well and did a great, professional job. The job took 3-4 hours first day. Then came back next day for about an hour to clean up and do an finishing touches.

Marlene did everything just right!! I highly recommend her and her service. She was punctual, called ahead, arrived and had everything well organized. We went right to the area to begin work and we discussed the flaw in my bathtub. I was hoping that refinishing the tub would be the solution to this problem, but after pros and cons I decided not to have it done. Marlene was well informed, her experience was clearly seen and she was not offended when I made the decision to not have the refinishing done. With all this, I will certainly recommend her highly and use the service in the future as needed.

Ok, the tech was super polite. Just not the finish I thought it would be. I was told before the tub was done it would not look like new. It is an improvement and my first experience with refinishing. I have a really old tub.

MB Link never provided me an estimate for the tub refinishing.

WAS DONE FAST, LOOKED GOOD, MINIMAL MESS CONSIDERING, ROB WAS EXTREMELY PLEASANT AND VERY GOOD EXPLAINING WHAT WAS GOING TO BE DONE.CLEANED UP VERY WELL.

First, appointment was late which caused me to move another scheduled appointment that resulted in that appointment being completed at close of the auto repair facility. Second, my telecom conversation with the MB Link tech, concerning their lateness, was stated as delays from Dayton to the Cincinnati area were traffic related. (I was first appointment- no excuse- leave earlier). Then, I was NOT made aware that another MB Link tech would also arrive to "prep" the areas and plastic cover for over spray. Our bathroom floor is new, Home Depot installed, so I provided a sheet of cardboard for the front tub area to ensure no floor damage. I did not pay attention to the preparation and left it to the "A" rating trust many have provided on Angie's list. The MB Link paint tech arrived and repaired the minor cracks ($55) and I agreed to tub anti-slip ($35). She set up the sprayer and vented the exhaust hose through our window and did her thing of priming and final paint of the tub. The tub looks like new; I'll admit that. How it holds up to daily use by two adults that are always careful is TBD. Now the rub. When you spray primer and the final coats of paint in a bathroom, which in this case is smaller than the newer homes, then over-spray will occur. Since I did NOT pay complete attention to the prep and plastic i "assumed" everything was protected from over-spray. Well it was NOT!!! The door entrance areas and bottom wall all had over-spray which was noticeable the next day when the service technician came by to remove all the prep plastic and tape. her only concern was my opinion on the tub refinish; which I thought was excellent. Like I have mentioned, how it holds up is TBD. Anyway, she packed her stuff and left. Now, the rub. I had over spray on the bathroom floor entrance area and bottom wall because it was not fully covered. I had white protective "booty" prints on my wood floor from the bathroom to the front door; a $1600 floor refinish job that home depot did less than twelve months ago. AND, I had white "booty" prints all over the driveway that I had just resealed two days prior. Why? because after each spray application the technician would leave the bathroom and go sit in her van then do it all over again. NOT ONCE did she take off the shoe coverings (booties) after each application and then walk through the living room to her van. So hence, she constantly tracked "paint" in and out of the home. Took me all day to clean those foot prints inside and then reseal that portion of the driveway; again

The process created a lot of fumes but MB Link took care to make sure our dog was not effected. Overall I was completely satisfied with the technician and the quality of the work. I originally planned to renovate the bathroom at the cost of a few thousand dollars (the tub was the main issue). This treatment will allow me to delay that bathroom renovation until whenever I deem it necessary.

Tech didn't show up for the appointment. Told me I wasn't on their schedule. An hour and several rounds of phone tag later I have another appointment in a week. I only have one bathroom. This is a pretty significant inconvenience.

Went pretty well, tub looks great however the strainer wasn't removed over the drain which had a little rust and it was just taped over before refinishing. I thought that the drain rust should have been addressed.

Looks brand new. Added non slip to bottom for safety. Very pleased with quality and service.

Refinishing peeled around drain,but they came back and corrected the problem. Has been fine after repair.

Previously, the tub, tiles and grout were dingy from over 10 years of use. The technician, Marlene, was very professional, prompt, and performed the job well. It did take a couple hours longer than originally advised, but, given the prep work provided to ensure a great job, we appreciated the extra effort. We now have a nice white bathtub with anti-slip floor of tub, and shower tiles are also glazed white and looks great! The cost was $495 which is comparable to a couple other companies I checked out, however, I would have liked to pay a little less for this type of job. The only very small issue is that there were a few spots where the original grout was missing some of the filling, and I would have preferred to fill those areas in before the reglazing for a better finished look. The tech attempted to fill in a little caulk but it did not fill in completely. Maybe they should advise re the caulk issues beforehand and give the option to fill it in or leave as is. In a couple of spots, I think it looked better before retouching it after the reglaze. Oh, there were also a couple small spots where the paint was removed from my recently painted wall from the blue tape that was used. Maybe it was the brand of blue tape or maybe a little more care should have been taken to remove the blue tape after the reglaze was done. Maybe this could not be helped, but, I did have to touch up a few edges of the wall. Overall, given the previous condition of the tub and tiles, it looks great and we are very pleased! Oh, the scheduler was very pleasant to talk to on the phone and very helpful in finding a date that worked and she answered my beforehand questions well. I would definitely recommend this company for reglazing and would likely consider them for other bathroom or kitchen jobs, too, as needed.

Okay. Some parts of bath and tub look great but Other parts where grout was still doesnt loOk new despite their claim to make it all loOk new again and when I asked if they could fix the girl kept responding that no she couldn't do that. That said, they did continue to come out until I said it was okay.

When first done, everything was great. After several days, one corner started to tear or pull away and grout was coming off in one area. Called and scheduled to have tear and grout repaired and also more anti slip applied. Work was completed but again had to call for another appointment as corner was still not covered completely and you could see it would be tearing again. Also there is another ripple noted which I'm sure will be tearing and the grout applied the last time is coming off. Waiting for area to be fixed properly. Happy with the anti slip but this constant problem with tearing is very upsetting.

It went great! Robert did an excellent job! I plan to use him again for reglazing the remaining tiled walls of the bathroom. What a big difference between the before and after the work was done by Robert! I am very pleased with his work.

The technician did an excellent job! He arrived as scheduled, explained the process and completed the work efficiently. The bathtub looks brand new! I would definitely recommend this company! Excellent work!

Kevin is not only professional & knowledgeable but also a delight to work with. He was prompt and had great suggestions and options that I had not thought of. So glad to have an electrician I can count on. I'll be calling Shea Electric for all of my electrical needs or projects.
