We couldn't be happier with the job that Greg did. He does a wonderful job. He is professional, timely and honest. We always felt that he had our best interest in mind. He was always trying to get us the highest quality of products while keeping in mind price at the same time. He always gave us a more than fair quote and it never changed. I would recommend H&B construction to anyone.

Greg did a fantastic job installing a sliding screen door, and repairing/painting a large stone wall and wood stairs. This was the third time we have hired Greg and his work is wonderful. He does quality work, is efficient with time, and is reasonably priced. Also works very clean and courteous to the homeowner. Previously Greg has finished our basement with full kitchen (demo and rebuild), installed a bedroom closet, and renovated a bathroom shower. Would recommend him for most any home renovation project.

Greg is creative, trustworthy, and seems to be able to do about anything. He was great with working on our previous home as well as our current home. We've referred him on to over a half dozen people now and haven't heard one bad thing. It's really only him as the core of the company, so you may have to wait a bit for a big project, but its worth it.

Greg has worked with us at our old and new home - we were so pleased with the work he did on our total master bath tear-out and remodel at the old house, we elected to go with him for our new home's basement job. For the bathroom, he designed and reworked the bathroom, including moving plumbing/electric/walls, and provided us with a custom ceramic glass-surround shower along with stand-alone tub, etc. At our current home, he has remodeled the mud room, and designed/built the custom wood lockers for us/our kids, along with finishing our basement in a top quality manner. We always get compliments when people go down there during parties, etc. He designed and built a top-notch basement, including a bathroom, large bedroom, entertaining areas, and even a small stage for the kids! The drywall work and custom wood built-ins are perfect, along with the work overall. Greg is trustworthy and we allowed him to work at both of our homes without us home, and never had any issue with that. He cleans up after himself, and little to no trace of his being there and working is seen after he leaves for the day. He is always reachable to discuss the work being done, and is open for homeowner involvement with project design. We have referred him on to several other friends and neighbors for small and large projects, and they have done the same in turn. Decided not to use Greg only because he could work just evenings and weekends. Since it was for our kitchen, we did not want to be without this room for months. He was very professional and helpful. If I ever need someone again for a room not so vital I would call Greg.

The vanity was an old custom made one out of 3/4 plywood. It had many layers of top, didn't know if it was glued or nailed on. Greg worked very carefully removing the old tile and plywood not to damage the base. I had other contractors that would not try to take off the top. I called Greg Tue. AM 5-16-06 told him he had the job. He came back Fri. PM rechecked the size of the vanity.Ithen asked if he could repair the kitchen and the siding. He said yes and told me the cost to do them. Fri.19-06 he called and said Hertage Marble would take about two weeks to make a custom sized top. He called Mon. 6-05 said the top was in we and set a date todo the job. His phone calls were very important to me, and he did a good job.

Greg was on time...very business oriented. He stayed late and so did his buddy Chad. It took them 3 days to finish the finish the job. they did a very good job and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very polite and friendly and I thought was very reasonable price...and that was after I had 3 other estimates. I have one bathroom and they had a key to my house so I did not have to stay there. They were awesome.
