Overall, the service was great, the technician was professional and polite. The price seemed high, but I had tried all conventional methods to unclog the drain, plunger, three different drain cleaners, and a hand cable.

They are very prompt to appointments. I like them a lot, and they do a nice job. The workers are very good, and they always clean up after themselves. They usually come out the day after I call them.

The plumber was on time and offered to put on shoe coverings. He was professional but he did not know what Angie's List was. He did the work well and took away the old toilet. The job did cost what the estimate was. I did not get other estimates because I wanted to have the job done. In the future, I would get other estimates.

I would say my experience with them went very well. They corrected the problem in a timely manner. I would recommend them to others and use them again.

They are very competent, plumbing is expensive but I had no comparative price. They were 2 guys, then 3, then 4 guys around 6 hours working. They have good equipment, and get he job done. They were very polite young men.

My basement floor was covered in water. I heard the sump pump motor but nothing was pumping. I called Mr. Rooter at 4PM and someone came out by 6PM to diagnose the problem. Jim made the guess that the pump had died, told me my options and I agreed to have him get me a new Zoeller pump the next day. He was back by 10:30 AM with the new pump. After making sure the issue was definitely not with the drainage pipes going from the pump (it had been too dark to determine this the night before), he installed the new pump. He also did a little extra investigating and showed me that the pump was going to an older pipe that I THOUGHT had been replaced last summer by someone else. We discussed my options for having the correct pipe hooked up next spring.

He came out to fix a faucet, but it started leaking the next day. He came back the next day and replaced the entire faucet. I felt that I was overcharged so I called the manager, but I have not heard back.

The drains are shared between the units. Bob, the technician, was able to snake the tub but had difficulty unclogging the sink. He claimed he was unable to get to the drain because of the configuration of the sinks between the two units. I had the drains snaked before so I knew it could be done but he insisted he could not do it. My sense was he was not experienced enough. I then called another company and they were able to clear the drain.

Charged way too much. Did good work but the price was horrible. Some coworkers even laughed at how "gullible" I was.

Plumber was punctual and, during first portion of job, did live up to advertised promise to be tidy. After snaking, though, he left things wet, tracked the floors, etc., probably because the prospect of not getting the snake back shook him up. He quoted the first of his solutions (cameraing to obstruction) at about $650, and the second (abandoning and capping obstructed line and creating a new one to join up to a known open line) at $1450. This was the part that bumped the encounter from a repair/estimate call to a pushy sales call: he offered a right-now, good-for-today-only discount if I agreed to let him do the work right then. I declined, saying I needed to think it over and confer with a friend, but he persisted in pressing the issue, forcing me to keep repeating my decision. I further felt he was selling a bit of bravado about his solutions and ability to perform them solo. Call me cautious but I want to think hard before dropping $2K in one day.

Very well. Chuck & Greg arrived a bit later than promised, but did an excellent job of unclogging the drain and making sure it was unclogged.

Around 6pm, with out-of-town family expected to arrive in a couple hours for a long weekend, the kitchen sink backed up. Mr. Rooter responded to my phone call within 5 minutes, and had a plumber to my house within 90 minutes. After I explained the problem and he looked at the sink, he quoted me a price to the penny for snaking the drains and told me there would be no charge if the service did not work. (They had refused to provide a quote over the phone, which I was unhappy about.) He drained the overflow as neatly as possible, and used a large auger to snake the drain repeatedly for 15-20 minutes. He re-assembled the piping underneath the sink, and tested all parts for leaks/problems. He cleaned up the area where he was working and left me a phone number if any problems recurred. Every thing's been fine since then. They did exactly what I needed and responded very quickly. I felt their price was a little high, and I would have preferred a telephonic quote, but overall, I'm satisfied.

The first repair was done well, but it cost $1200, which seemed expensive. When they came back out, they came the day I called, which was important since I was paying painters to work there too. They fixed the problem, taking many hours to get it done. They charged over $3000 for that repair, but took off $600 for redoing part of the first job and then gave me a 10% discount. So that day only cost $2300. They did the work, and seemed to try to be fair, but these rates are very expensive to me, but those were their rates, and they did the work. There was no opportunity to get estimates, since I had to have it taken care of immediately. My problems with them were that they left the initial repair in a state where no ceiling repair could be done. I only knew about it when I needed to redo the living room. They left the huge ceiling hole for the painter to repair, which I had to pay for, and the small hole in the bathroom is still open. So the costs were actually more than I paid them.

They did a good job. They were professional and explained everything to me thoroughly and completed the job in the time given. They came right away and I was in a very difficult situation.

Outstanding experience. Rob Eggers is an outstanding young man and a wonderful representative for his company.

The plumbing they installed for the tub was well done. I think their price was high. I did have to call them back to correct a few things, especially the faucet in the tub.

They were great to work with. They found a hole in my plumbing that i didn't know about, and they fixed it, they also cleaned up after themselves very well.

The guys that came were nice, but the work was done in poor fashion & they kept trying to sell me stuff I didn't need. I will not be using this company in the future.

I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. BEWARE OF BEING TRYING TO BE SOLD SOMETHING THAT YOU DO NOT NEED. I CONTACTED ONE OF THEIR COMPETITORS THAT WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORK FOR HALF THE PRICE. CURRENTLY TRYING TO GET THEM TO RETURN MONEY PAID FOR WORK THEY DID NOT DO. ACCORDING TO THEIR YELLOW PAGES ADD 'YOU DON'T PAY IF THEY CAN'T CLEAR THE PIPES.' I THINK IT'S JUST A COME ON. THEY FAILED TO SHOW UP AT MY HOUSE OR RETURN CALLS.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND TOLD ME WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THE DRAINS, THEY WERE VERY QUICK AND CAME VERY LATE. I ASKED THEM TO DO THE DRAINS IN THE BACK AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS TOO LATE AND THEY HAD TO LEAVE.

POLITE AND RESPONSIVE, BUT COMPLETELY OUT OF THE BALLPARK ON PRICE, AND TOO CONCERNED WITH PUSHING UNRELATED WORK. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS A MIXUP WITH TWO CALLS IN THE SAME CITY, SO MY ''WITHIN THE HOUR'' PROMISE TURNED INTO ABOUT 4 HOURS LATER--AFTER I HAD TOLD THEM I HAD A SICK KID AND NEEDED TO GET TO THE PEDIATRICIAN BEFORE THE DAY WAS OVER. I'VE HAD OTHER EXPERIENCES WITH MR. ROOTER INSISTING ON DOING SEEMINGLY UNRELATED WORK, BUT HAD USED THEM AGAIN BECAUSE OF RESPONSIVENESS AND PUNCTUALITY. THIS TIME, NO MORE.

I WORKED WITH GILL, HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CLEANED UP THE MESS. THEY CAME OUT WITHIN AN HOUR OF CALLING. HE GAVE ME A LOT OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS FAR AS A MAINTENANCE AND CARE.

THIS COMPANY DID NOT ALLOW US TO REVIEW THE FINDINGS FROM THE CAMERA. THEY SAID WE SHOULD HAVE ASKED THEM TO SEE IT. THEY WERE NOT TIMELY IN RESPONSE TIME. I HAD TO CALL TO ASK FOR A COPY OF THEIR WORK TO BE FAXED TO ME TWICE. THEY OVERCHARGED ME ON THE WORK THAT THEY PERFORMED AND DID NOT SNAKE THE SEWER LINE DEEP ENOUGH TO GET RID OF THE TREE ROOTS. BEREA PLUMBING CAME OUT AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM IN ONE DAY FOR $1800.00. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MR. ROOTER TO ANYBODY. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

IT WAS NICE OF THEM TO GIVE A MILITARY DISCOUNT, THEY DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT.
