We are happy with the experience. They were speedy in completing the work and did a great job cleaning up, and so far the product has worked as they said it would.

The salesperson that visited my home was Kevin Hart. Although I liked their product I did not like their sales approach. When calling so set up the appointment, I was told by the office that it is preferred that both the husband and wife are present. I explained that I would only meet with them as my husband not always available. Kevin arrived on time and was pleasant enough. The sales pitch is intense and pushy. The original quote was $6984.00 but after calling his "sales mgr" Mike, the wheeling and dealing started. When I said I was considering a competitor they wanted info regarding their quote. Kevin that quoted a lower price ($4550) to compete with the other company. Then Kevin and Mike conferred (on cell phone with speaker on) and indicated that if I decided by 5:00 pm and agreed to install the gutters with 2 days, they would reduce the price to $4225.00. I felt I was buying a car and not gutters! I said I would think about it and when I called later that day to both of them requesting references, neither of them returned my calls. I think they are extremely unprofessional, use high pressure sales tactics and their prices are questionable. I think they try to get away with as much money as they can for their product. I was left with a distrust of the company. Even though, I thought the product was good, I suspect that after dealing with Kevin and Mike, I am not sure of that as well. Glad I did not hire them.

We had problems with one part because of the way our roof is made. They came out and fixed it. They come out when they say they will. They quoted us a real good price. They said they would clean our gutters and make sure the down flow is good. They put brackets on to hold the gutter on. It has a lifetime warranty. They have been in business a real long time.

The person who came to measure my gutters and give me an estimate was punctual and very professional. Since I couldn't pay everything right away, he worked out a 5-year plan for me with no interest. The installers were very courteous and pleasant to work with. It did take longer than anticipated due to one of their crew being absent, but they did not rush the job. They took me up to the roof to show me the work when I requested. I had a problem with water running over the edge of the gutter at one place. A representative checked the problem and realized that it was a problem with my roofing due to a low spot on rubber matting. He e-mailed me a picture of the problem so that I would have it to show the roofer.

The presented gutter protection system seemed to be actually pretty good, but the salesman was really pressuring us and wanted to make a deal right there and then. I never do that. There was a pretty big difference between the beginning and ending quote, which always makes me think that someone is trying to overcharge me. Again, we do not have anything bad to say about the product itself and I believe a lot of customers might be happy with this choice.

I had water running behind parts of my fairly old gutter system. After several estimates, many of my estimators noted that I had too long a run (42') for a single downspout on each side of the house. I researched leaf filters and went with a company that seemed to have a decent product who would also install gutters. The installers came out and installed the new gutters and guards. It looked a little odd afterward as the gutters were lowered a little to help work with the design of the leaf filter. Their design is to have the drip edge drop water on top of the guard, without interacting with the roof. The problem with this strategy is that it does not consider the state of the drip edge and mine, which was concealed by the old gutter, was mostly at fault for original water problem. With the additional distance between the roof and the gutter, my water problem was increased as the problem caused by the faulty drip edge was enhanced by stronger reliance on that edge to deliver water to the gutter. That coupled with inconsistent shingle overhang on my roof, has caused even more water to be delivered from the roof top directly to my fascia on the side of my house. We had an extremely long winter so as soon as it stops snowing here (it snowed yesterday; it is almost April) I plan to have the edge of the roof and drip edge replaced. My three concerns with their installation are: 1) they did not consider the state of my drip edge and the condition of the edge of my roof with the installation of my new gutter and gaurd and they did not mention the strong dependency of the drip edge on the new location of the gutter, 2) they did not feel they were at fault for installing a product that would perform more poorly after installation as compared to the original because they located it lower from the roof, thereby amplifying the drip edge problem, and 3) they made no mention of their gutter gaurd's performance with snow on top of it: it gets iced locked and water begins to run around the entire gutter at all points on the roof AND the materials do not allow for any sort of heat-based deicing system as they are mostly made of plastic. This last concern is very important to know if you live any place that can receive a significant amount of snow. I am very disappointed in their gutter guard product and their drip-edge dependency strategy. I am very tempted to remove the guard before next winter.

Crew borrowed two tools from homeowner. Lifetime warranty against was mailed a few weeks later I chose this company because filters did not require replacement of existing gutters and for the diagnosis of the overflow problem in one section. The lifetime performance warranty (nothing but water past the screens) was also a factor. The Leaffilter screens have performed as described and the overflow problems have been corrected. I wish I had talked to them several years ago.

I met them at the Indiana State Fair. The product seemed good and I was able to negotiate a good price for it later since they were trying to establish themselves in central Indiana. The sales person told me they would help unclog one of my downspouts in the ground but later the installers told me that they don't do that. They didn't show up on the original date they told me and their was a lot of confusion on who to call. When they came out the installers discovered that they ordered too small covers. So after a day delay they installed my covers but took 2 days to do it (the sales person claimed less than a day). I was given $317 off for the trouble. Fortunately the installers were very experienced and nice. They did a good job installing them and cleaning up. So far they seem to be working well. I just wished that the company did some follow-up to see if everything was done well. Basically after the installers left and took my check I never heard back from them via phone or mail. I found that strange.

They were nice and straightforward. They gave us a good price.

They put a really fine mesh over the whole filter, and reinforced it with aluminum. It is now virtually impossible to get anything in it. They were prompt and were here the next day after I called them. They showed up when they said they would, and didn’t keep me waiting all day. They came back and did some repairs later after I called them. They were also very courteous and knew what they were doing. Our experience with them was very good.

The entire process went very smoothly. The representative who came to do the estimate and the installation crew were both punctual and knowledgable about the product. The installation was done in half a day and they did a fabulous job of cleaning up after themselves. The leaking and overflowing problems I had before with my gutters have disappeared since the installation.

I thought they did a great job and they worked very quickly. Their product and price are also very good.

Leafilter was very professional and they were very cautious about our flower beds. They did a very good clean up and they came out one day when it was raining and worked in the rain for a few hours. They did a great job and I would use them again in the future.

they put the screening on . had to come back several times for some problems. which they did. to fix the problem we were having was rain not going into gutter just flying off roof and on to landscape plants below. also rain coming off roof and hitting a back door. they could not fix problem so they installed deflectors which does not look very nice and now we have to get up on ladder to clean pine needles from behind deflectors. we have contacted bbb to get leaf filter removed but company is dragging feet to resolve problem. had it installed in april of 08. called bbb in oct of 08 and still not resolved.

My experience with them was very good. They did a good job. I would recommend them to other people and use them again in the future if I had to.

I first encountered Leaf Filter at a home improvement show last year. I was very impressed with their product. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. Most companies sell products like the gutter helmet or screens but LeafFilter uses some sort of micro filter. I have pine needles at my house and I knew that the other products would let the needles into my gutter. When I saw Leaf Filter I knew this was the product for me because the micro filter is so fine that not a single pine needle could get in my gutter. After speaking with the woman at the home show for several minutes I decided to request an estimate on their product. A few days later someone called me from their company and I set up an appointment for a free estimate. The gentleman that came to my home was very polite and courteous. His name was Erin and he walked around my home with me telling me about Leaf Filter as he was measuring my gutters. As he was measuring he pointed out that the builder didn't have my gutters aligned properly and said that if I bought his product that the installers would realign my gutters at no charge. After he finished measuring I invited him inside and he wrote up a proposal. I had received two estimates a few months before and LeafFilter was much cheaper than one and about ten percent more than the other. I liked the product and the price was right so I gave him the go ahead to install Leaf Filter on my home. The product was installed in March 2008. The installers realigned my gutters and cleaned them all out as well. I wanted to wait a couple months before I wrote this review so that I could see if Leaf Filter really works. Let me tell you, it does!!! All my neighbors had problems this Spring with the pine needle and especially those maple spinners, but not me. The product works great and I would recommend Leaf Filter to anyone I meet.

THE GUARDS WERE EXPENSIVE AND DO NOT WORK. THE WATER FLOWS DOWN THE ROOF AND OVER THE GUARD AND IT CLOGS WITH DEBRIS. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I AM DISSATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT.
