salesman quoted a high pric. said he would lower price if I have it done next day.this was kind of a come on because he would have lowered the price anyways. Worked great on leaves in fall, but in the spring my maple leaf seeds (spinners), were cloging my gutters and wouldn't blow away.called office may 28, someone came out May30 and cleaned out my gutters. very effeciant and professional. I was very impressed how fast they handled the problem.I still have to worry next spring if the same situation happens.

I have to laugh, I read another person's review on here and he had the same experience as my husband and I. The guy did his whole presentation, his product seemed decent (except it's plastic). He shot off a price... $4800 hundred and then applied a coupon bringing it down some but if we bought that day, $2800. That's is pretty deceptive if you ask me. How does the price just drop that much. I will not do business with a company that practices this way. Horrible! We ended up finding another company who offers a very similar product but metal and more durable. Try Weather Armor, they have a better product.

Everything has been good, but I haven't had a chance to watch a downpour yet to know how good they are. The people that came were good and I got a $1000 discount on the job.

Having lots of trees in my yard, I'm in need of gutter protection. I've researched quite a bit, and I had settled on LeafFilter as my first choice. Rave reviews on Angie's List and a high rating in Consumer Reports. Saw the company and signed up for contact at a recent local home and garden expo. I was very disappointed with my appointment. After a fact-filled sales presentation and a convincing demo, the rep stunned me with with an opening price of about $35 per linear foot. (Consumer Reports mentioned $20.) I told him that seemed very high.The rep then switched to one of the old scripted sales techniques, moving a hard sales close that brought the price to $14.50! The trick: "You can only get this price from me, and only right now, today." The script even included a phone call to a man he called his boss, using the phone's speaker to let me listen in. Well, I never buy anything that way, so it was adios, LeafFilter. I think this is a shameful way to treat a prospect ... the company apparently makes a good product, making me wonder about the purpose of using such sales technique. One note: I'm not sure about the Columbus connection, since the rep visiting me was from "LeafFilter North of North Carolina, Inc." in Charlotte.

Excellent product & service. After a discount coupon, the total was $2,449. LeafFilter cleaned & reattached gutters; and repaired downspouts prior to installing the gutter filter--which is manufactured in Ohio. They were more expensive than other companies but they have a superior product and provide expert installation work. They give a great lifetime ownership warranty, that is transferable to the next home owner. They also offered a 18 months interest free payment plan through Wells Fargo. My payment is approx $136 per month.

Living in the woods, with and quot;tree snotand quot; of every size and shape, no other kinds of guards I have tried have worked. And internet reviews of some of the and quot;bestand quot; ones that I had not tried, convinced me they couldn't handle my situation either. My son-in-law recommended Leaf Filter. After years of not being able to keep my gutters clear, I had given up trying...and got foundation damage as a result. Never again. I bought (and paid for) the best system. My gutters will never see another leaf, and seem to be able to handle hard rains at the same time. (My downspouts are thanking me, they were thirsty.) Watch their website videos and you will be convinced. Put their demo sample short section under your faucet and test it yourself. You can look at it and know even tiny leaves are not going to get through, but you doubt water can get through...but it does. Their installation, of course, also has to take care of any seams and places where one gutter downspouts into another...to prevent flow of leaves inside. They handle that well and explain ahead of time how they are going to do it. Now, price. It's expensive. But worth it. My only caution...they will start way too high before finally coming down if you insist. Luckily I had my son-in-law's pricing in-hand to compare to. They will start at about $20 per foot of gutter. He got them down to $10, I got them down to $13-14 I believe it was (I had fewer linear feet than him, so ok, it makes sense they couldn't go as low for me). They come from Ohio, but are timely and will stay the night in town if not finished. They really should get a local installer for the Indy area, but I had NO negative consquences of their coming from Ohio (unless the travel costs factored into their resistance to discounting). I'd recommend the product and their installers to anyone.

The two service people arrived, got to work, finished their work and cleaned up. The senior man explained how the filter works and why the material works the way it does. We did an inspection, I paid the bill, and they left. It was a very professional job, and we have been happy to not have to clean out the gutters again.

The salesman came out and showed me the product. He was on time and very professional. While the system is very nice, it is also very expensive and beyond my budget.

I chose them because their product was top rated in Consumer Reports. I waited until now to see how well it worked. It works well. I have had no blockages in two years. The workmen were great the product works well. My only negative is that it was like buying a used car. The estimator that came to the house gave me a price about $1500 above what Consumer Reports said I would pay while saying he was giving me a discount. So I said never mind. Then he lowered the price. I said too high. Then he said what would it take for me to agree. I said the number I was expecting to pay, he said ok. This event was two years ago, so They may have changed their ways.

They came out and did the installation when they were supposed to do. It looks like they did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do. I didn't have any issues this fall with leaves or anything. They cleaned up after the work. They admitted that their product was of higher price but, they convinced me that their product was worth the extra value.

The job went as promised and seems to be keeping the gutters clean but now that winter is here and freezing weather; I have Icicles forming on the outside of the gutters. When the sun melts the snow on the roof instead of water going through the screen, it flowes over and formes ice. This is espechly problematic

I met a sales representative at a Prospect Heights Christmas Bazaar and viewed a demonstration of the product. I received a call shorly thereafter to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Another sales rep arrived on time as scheduled and provided extensive information about his product and about competing products. He emphasized the fact that his product had a #1 rating with consumer groups and that his company had an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau. His company had allegedly received few complaints. I looked on the internet and found many people did have complaints (pollen clogged the screens, shoddy workmanship, work performed by contractors and not company employees). My work was performed by a company employee who was extremely professional. He cleaned up afterward, leaving no debris. Since the installation occurred just a few weeks ago and since we have not had much rain, I cannot provide long-term evaluation results. The test will be whether dirt, locust tree leaves and stems, or other materials clog the screens. The price was probably higher than most possible solutions to my problem, but the tiny locust leaves would likely find their way into or around other products. Next fall should be interesting. The cost was high, but I had concerns that competing products would not keep locust leaves and twigs out of the gutters. I do not have to worry about heavy pollen clogging the screens. I am currently satisfied and hopeful that thie LeafFilter provides a long-term solution to my gutter issues.

I called to see if we could get an estimate on Tuesday, Sept. 25th. Frank came out that afternoon. He was very knowlegdable and friendly. After seeing all the different samples of gutter filters and providing a demonstration of their product, it was apparent that this system would work well for us. They were to come the next morning but due to the heavy rain and cold, the appointment was rescheduled for the afternoon. The installers kept us informed of their arrival date and the job was completed withing 2 hours.

Work performed promptly and well done.

An appointment was set for an agent to come to our house. He was on time and explained the benefits of LeafFilter. The are recommended by the Better Business Bureau. The agent was friendly and professional. He wrote an estimate and described financing. After he left, we had questions and called him. He was very helpful even with difficult questions. The installer came at the appointed time, left for supplies, returned and completed the job by 5:30 or so. He was friendly, professional and described his work. We are very satisfied with the work.

They were suppose to come out on Wednesday and did not. They went over and had two jobs and the installers that were suppose to come out went to the other job and I was a little upset. They sent another guy out on Friday and did a really good job. Just one person. Started at 9:30 and ended at 3:30 and did everything he said he would do. I would give an 'A' but there is always room for improvement.

So far the system appears to be working as advertised. Many leaves are falling now and the Leaf Filter is keeping the leaves and roof debris out of the gutters and allows the water to flow into the gutters. The installation took longer than expected. There was a crew of two men and one of the men was a trainee. On two of the days they left the job on our house to go work on someone else's house. I wasn't so concerned about the installation taking a week, as I wanted them to do a good job. My installer was very courteous, didn't rush through the job, and cleaned up after the installation.Before they started the installation I was asked to point out any problem spots. I called his attention to a corner of the gutter that always dripped. The mitered seam was rusted through. After the installation was completed I checked this area and noticed that the rusted piece of gutter had not been replaced, but he assured me that it had been sealed. He asked me to check the area out after it rained and if it still leaked to call. I didn't understand why the section of gutter wasn't replaced in the first place. When we were getting our estimate we were told that any bad sections of gutter would be replaced during installation of the Leaf Filter. This corner of the gutter continued to leak after it rained, so I called and was connected with the service department.. This is when I became frustrated. It took five calls to finally get someone to come and take care of the problem. I would be told that someone would be out on a certain day and no one would show. Phone calls weren't returned. They finally came to correct the problem five weeks later. Thank you! A week later we received a call from Leaf Filter about setting up a time to fix a leak. There seems to be a lack of communication between the service department and the installers. I truly hope no other problems arise because it was so difficult to get someone to come back. Leaf Filter seems to be a good product, but it needs to be backed up with good service. We have learned, through our own business, that the best advertisement is a satisfied customer. As, I stated, it seems to be a great product, and we have been satisfied, so far, with its performance. I would just hope that if we should have any other problems in the future, that they will be more efficient in addressing the problem.

I called them to get the estimate Salesman came in next day,did nice presentation of their product.We agreed up on the price and scheduled for installation after few days.Next day I read all reviews on Angie's list and change my mind and cancelled installation.I had estimates from two other company.Estimate from one company was $1072 and other company $1500 but their products were inferior compare to leaf filler.I checked reports of Consumer reports and they were rating leaf filler on # 1 spot.I called them next day and Okayed installation on 9/5/12.I discussed with Bob Miller their Manager and asked him about the life time no clog warranty.He assured me.that they will stand behind their life tme no clog warranty.I am happy with their service.

Their system works, they stay completely clean. The workers are clean and neat, and efficient. They were very professional and courteous. I can't say enough great things about them, they were wonderful.

Being a single lady I'm always skeptical that a contractor is going to try and rip me off. This did not happen at all with this company.

I couldn't ask for better experience. They were very professional and they had all the insurances and protections for me. They came when they said they would and got the job done when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves, which made them very happy.

I had several other companies out and they were by far the most professional and reasonable with the price .. The salesman was on time and did a full inspection of my gutters. He allowed me to pick the time and day that i wanted the project installed ...The part i was so impressed by was that he didn't ask me for any money upfront he said "" just pay us when you are 100% satisfied with the work ""' I had two other companies that came out and both wanted half of the money up front . The installation guys were great and even helped us move a large swingset for free .. Guy just said "" do you want some help "" i offered to give him some money and he just said .."" refer us to a neighbor "" so thats what i am doing ... thank you leaffilter

The sales rep that came, he came the same day I called. He stopped over to go over the product with me. He did an excellent job. He was a nice person. The people who came to work did an excellent work. They went above and beyond and fixed what they were not supposed to do. They were very nice and did a very nice job for me.

I would rate the experience as a "B".
