It was my first time using the company and the service went well. One technician came out and completed the job in 2 hours. He was courteous and did a good job. The guards still seem to be working fine to this day. They sent out a fantastic salesmen, but I did not like his procedure. I told him I thought the pricing was high and he dropped the price 50% which I did not appreciate. He should have given me the better price from the beginning. I had no problem scheduling the service at all. They did the gutter guards right away just as I wanted.

The service went very well. The product works as advertised, but if you have really heavy rain the water will rush over the gutters. The staff did a great job and came out as scheduled. They completed the job in the time estimated and were great with the cleanup after the job. I looked at all of the systems on the market and there is seemed to be the best. I contacted the company to see if they would come out to repair the downspout and they refused to come out to do that. Other than that, they did a great job. Their service went okay. I would not recommend this particular style of gutter guard. They are fine for what they do but they freeze over during the winter. The screens also tend to pop up in some places and there is a lip on the guards that have made rain run down and put streaks on the gutters. They might work better for a 2-3 story home. The roof is fairly steep and some of the corners had water would come right over the top of the gutters. The technician was a hard worker. It was very cold and snowing while he did the service. We did find a lot of screws he had dropped after the snow melted, but it was not an issue because I doubt he could have seen them ahead of time. He did mention something about the potential issues with the guards so I was aware of the issue. I never had never a problem reaching out to the company or scheduling their service.

It was pretty good. We were happy. It's a little bit pricey, but I guess it's worth it since they use a stainless steel filter. I guess the quality is good. Actually, this is the second one that we've tried. Hopefully, this would be the last one. They said that this should be the last one that we should have. They guaranteed that we would be very happy about it and that we wouldn't need another one.

They were great. I didn't have any dislikes. Everything was fine. Everything went fine. It was to improve the gutters so that birds and dirt doesn't get into the gutters and clog up the downspout. It was fine. I would recommend them.

It turned out okay. The mesh is so fine, that when it rains, it doesn't allow for all of the water from the roof to get into the gutters. It then spills over the gutters onto the ground.

I saw the product a few years ago and had it made up in my mind that is what I wanted because of the fact that you never have to clean it or anything. They were not here very long, only a couple of hours, so it did not take long at all to put it up. It was expensive for the little section, but that included putting the new gutter on. I still thought it was too expensive for what it is. It did not take them long to come out and do it.

The sales rep was nice, but very persistent. He was knowledgeable of the product. On the day of service, things that the sales rep promised were not fulfilled by the installers. There was dry rotted fascia board that was to be replaced, but that did not occur. The installer said he was trying to save me some money, but it was obvious that the boards needed to be replaced. Also, the fascia wrapping had fallen off the house before the installers arrived and I asked if it was salvageable or if a new piece was required. I was told that they could reuse the existing fascia wrapping. As a result of using this, the finished product resulted in a wavy appearance on the house. The more I looked at this, I felt that it was a poor quality job that was done, so I contacted my sales rep and he told me to contact the main office. I did what he recommended and they told me that they would have "Matt" call me back, but instead the installer called me back. When I explained my dissatisfaction, the installer had retracted what he originally said when he was here to do the job and was now telling me that the fascia wrapping was bad and should not have been used. He said he could come and replace it at an additional cost. I did not feel that I should be paying any additional money since I had addressed the issue prior to installation. I attempted to call "Matt" three additional times to get this resolved, but failed to receive a call back. After making several calls to various locations, I was finally able to reach "Matt" and he basically told me that the fascia wrapping was needed and it would cost an additional $395 (which included a $50 discount). At this time, he mentioned that the wavy appearance was a result of using the pre-existing fascia wrapping. Again, I voiced my concern about the additional money they were charging. I feel that this is something that needs to be replaced, but after spending $3,165.00 already and addressing this issue up front, that I should not be expected to pay additional money and that Leaf filter should make this right. I cannot even look elsewhere for another company to fix this at a lower cost, otherwise the Leaf filter warranty would be voided. "Matt" was very rude and unprofessional in his conversation with me. He did not seem concerned about my dissatisfaction and lacked customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The gutters are fine and I presume the covers will work as advertised. Have a small cosmetic issue but nothing serious with the gutters or covers. I did not intend to complain about the cosmetic issue. The issues involve connecting the downspouts to the houses underground drainage system.The architecture of the house results in several sections of gutter that are simply too short to carry the square footage of roof that they drain. In discussing with the LeafFilter folks decided to increase the gutter size to help prevent overflows. This of course increased the size of the downspouts. Discussed this with the salesman to make sure it would not present a problem when attaching the new downspouts to the underground system. This was done incorrectly by LeafFilter and EVERY connection dumped the water from the roof directly down the foundation of my house due to the leaking connection to the underground system. Called LeafFilter and they sent someone out who diagnosed the problem correctly. The connectors from the downspouts to the undergound pipe were not the correct size. He told me someone would get back in touch. I waited a week with no contact. Called Leaffilter, receptionist said I would be called by end of next day. No call. I called them again and was put through to the service manager. We talked , did not get a firm appointment but was assured he would be out to take a look. He did not come or communicate in any way for several days. Called again and insisted on an appointment. He arrived 1.5 hours late for the appointment. He figured out the problem again (did not know from the first person). He was not sure the correct connector existed but he would look for it and let me know. Did not email or make phone contact within the agreed upon time. He finally called several days late to tell me he had found the correct materials and they(LeafFilter) would fix the problem. Having lost confidence in the LeafFilter guys I contacted another company to come out and diagnose the problem and propose a solution while waiting for LeafFilter to tell me if they could/would fix the problem. I was concerned that there was something unique about the connections to my underground system and I might need to make some changes to make it work. The new company informed me that I have a typical situation and they do this exact connection on a regular basis. I have no confidence that LeafFilter guys will manage to connect the systems even with the correct parts. I plan to will pay the new company to complete the work. Worh the money to not have to deal with those guys again.

There was one man that did the job and he was very nice and professional. He cleaned up all the materials and scraps. The installation went well. The problem is that in June it was raining and we were setting in our enclossed porch when we noticed in a corner of the roof, water was pouring over our LeafFilter system and none of the rest of the gutters were overflowing. We called to get someone to look at this from LeafFilter and see what the problem was. We have called four times in the last Three weeks. Emily or Ashley say that someone will call us back in the next 24 hours or 48 hours. Today July 22, 2014 they said Matt Ward would call us. They called back to say he was in meetings and it would be after 5:00 PM and he will call us then. We did NOT receive a call and our home and cell phone numbers are on the LeafFilter contract.

It's been raining nonstop this week and I haven't had the gutters cleaned in a year. Since I do not want to get hurt trying to clean the gutters on my 2-story house, I need gutter covers. Water has already begun seeping into the basement because the rain is going right over the gutters. After researching all the popular designs, this fine mesh design made the most sense. I decided on this design before meeting with the salesperson and this was the only company in the area I could find that sold it. He gave the typical presentation which starts with why the competition is inferior, then why this product is the best. Then he measured the gutter length around the house. My house has about 100 ft of gutter. Since no one actually knows what a gutter cover is supposed to cost (no matter the design), I have no way of knowing whether the price is reasonable. So he went through how expensive the competition would be if I bought their product, then had me play the guessing game to see if I could figure out how much this company would charge me. $3000 was extreme, so he asked what I would be willing to pay. Again, since I don't know how much it really costs and at this point anything below $3000 seemed like a deal, I came back with 2500 and he was fine with that. The gutters get cleaned out (which I know are a mess), downspouts get cleaned out, covers are installed, and there is a lifetime, transferrable warranty that the gutters will stay clean. We shook, I signed, and the install was scheduled for the next day (before it rained again and before I could change my mind). I woke up the next morning feeling kinda sick about paying $2500 and not even getting new gutters. I decided to call the company and cancel the install (about 3 hours before they were scheduled to arrive). I hadn't intended to use this as leverage to negotiate a better price, but that's what it turned out to be. I offered $1800 (because I could get new gutters with not so good gutter guards for $1900 from someone else), which was accepted if the install went on as scheduled. I still don't know what material, labor or insurance really costs, but at least I didn't pay $2500 and I can live with that. The install went on without issue. I got a call when they were on the way, I walked around the house with the crew boss and made sure he was going to do what was promised to me and I asked that he call me before they finished. He did that, I drove back home, walked around the house with him, paid, and they left. I can only assume the job was completed as it should have been. I can make no statement on the quality or performance of the product because it has not rained since the install. I do agree with the engineering of the product, though. And since reading the reviews, I am already expecting to get some pretty bad icicles. I can accept that as long as my basement is dry.

They didn't seem legitimate. They did a lot of stuff we did not give them permission to do.
