It went well.

After our air conditioning stopped cooling we got 3 estimates from 3 very different companies. Pugh was not the cheapest or the most expensive but was reasonable for the services we wanted and was able to do the work within a few days. We also had checked on Angies List and found they had an excellent rating. The workmen arrived promptly at 8:00am on the day of installation. They worked diligently and finished the job about 6 hours later. They put down and leveled a new pad on our hillside location without damaging my new lilies planted only a couple of feet from the installation site. I am so greatful. I also appreciated that they put down a large tarp while going in and out of the basement to protect the carpeting. The workmen were very professional in looks and mannerism wearing logo shirts. Our new air conditioning seems to be working very well keeping up with the extremely hot days that followed. We also got a humdifier but will not really be able to comment on it until the cooling season.

A rep came to our home and gave us a quote on the installation. A date was set to begin and the crew arrived on schedule. They were also very gracious about watching that none of our rescues got out while they were going in and out. The crew was very friendly and very clean. They did a wonderful job.

I was satisfied with their services. Their responsiveness was excellent.

Each time I've called, they've been very professional and pleasant on the phone, with a very short wait time to get a technician to the house, and prompt arrival when promised. They have always done a thorough check of the system and have been able to fix the problem right away. They have been very honest about the condition of the system related to its age, and have never pushed repairs that aren't essential. I no longer go to the phone book for furnace repair; I immediately call their number.

Pugh installed a new gas furnace and central air conditioner. They also lined the water heater chimney and cleaned my ducts. Very low pressure sales. Accurate estimate without trying to add things on or upsale to a more expensive unit. Many vendors required an annual cleaning at my expense to maintain the warranty (at a cost of $80-$100). Pugh's operational checks and cleaning were free for the first 5 years. Installation was very professional with the team asking for my preferences on certain issues and doing their best to meet them within code. Reworked duct work to improve efficiency and gas supply line to meet code. (All of this work was identified in the original estimate) Duct work installation very professional. Mark personnaly checked in to ensure all was going well. Duct cleaning went well also. Although their estimate wasn't the cheapest, it was competitive and their work and attention to detail was top notch. I honestly feel I have found my go to Heating & Air Conditioning company for years to come. I recommend them to anyone that has a need for this type of work.

Our furnace stopped working around 6 p.m. and the weather was supposed to turn cold that night. We Called Pugh, received their after hours answering service, and a technician called us very promptly. He arrived within the hour and advised us that he was hopeful he could fix it, but cautioned us that he may not have the part for our older model furnace. Fortunately, he had the part in his truck, and was able to fix it in a very timely manner. He was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. There was no upfront cost because we have a service contract

They respected my home and cleaned up after themselves. They were prompt, they came when they said they would, and it took them one day like they said it would.

They do great work, are prompt, and very knowledgeable on the work they do. The price is a little higher than others but I trust them.

They’ve done various things for me over the years. Their estimate was around $4000. They were very professional. I normally use them, but I found somebody else that I preferred. I liked something better than the products that they were offering. The work that they have done for me in the past has been very good. I would use them in the future if need be.

Their price is in line with everybody around here. I would use them again.

The stops and starts were mainly due to my work schedule, but they worked with me on a daily basis, and I am very pleased with the end result.....,

I love Pugh Heating. We are contracted on their VIP plan for our air conditioner and furnace, which has always been fantastic! They come out twice a year to do our routine maintenance (and if we forget about it, they actually call to remind us, how's THAT for good service?) and answer all our calls, concerns and questions in a timely manner. I don't feel like a number with Pugh! So it was only natural I get an estimate with them. The estimate was fair, the estimator Kelly was nice and great at explaining our options, and we decided to have our tank installed. The scheduler Beth was great at getting our tank put in quickly, and the two gentlemen that showed up to put in our tank were great!. All in all it was a top notch experience. Glad to know there are companies out there who really care about their customers!

The installation appears like it has always been in our home. No mishaps, no remodeling and quality work. I am a perfectionist and usually cannot find workers who do the work as though they were working on their own home. Pugh is different.

They did a very good job. We have used them before too for heating and air conditioning. Their bill is what they say it would be with no surprises. Hot water heaters actually are expensive. They do very nice work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them.

The representative was professional, fast, and talked through all work so that we had better knowledge of how our appliances worked in the future.

They were prompt and on time for the project. They explained what they were doing. They explained the problem that they found and what it was. They gave me an option for the repair of the system. They called back and they made sure that the job was done to my satisfaction. They are a very customer oriented company. I was very pleased with them.

I had a recommendation from a friend and they seemed to take care of the problem. They cleaned up after themselves.

It has been 2 years now since switching to Pugh and my furnace is so quiet I can hardly tell when it is running. My monthly heat and A/C bills have reduced. A $450 part did go out one time and they promptly came out with two repairmen and replaced it at no charge under their maintenance agreement. They also have upgraded the furnace with parts at no charge when required. Go no where else but Pugh Heating for dependable and honest service. And no - I do not work for the company or having anyone I know that works there. This is a true story.

After spending $10K on a new boiler system I went into the office to meet the management team in person. We then decided to have Pugh install high velocity air conditioning, a $20K job. The entire Pugh team was very professional and courteous and did a fantastic job. You get what you pay for these days and while Pugh was certainly not the least expensive their professionalism and willingness to get the job done right first makes up for the price.

My old furnace & a/c were 18 years old and definitely not energy efficient. The a/c needed replacing now and the furnace would have likely needed replacing shortly (according to my brother, a contractor in another state). I got estimates from five local companies (two were from Angie's List). All of them were listed w/ BBB, and a couple, including Pugh, had no complaints listed for the last three years. Pugh gave me the best price, overall, for the products. The installation was speedy and nearly flawless. I did have them come back because there was a slight leak in the tubing going from the condensate pump. It wasn't noticeable, except a paper near it was damp. They came within two hours of my call and fixed it with an additional clamp. Pricing notes: (1) I was going to keep my old programmable thermostat, but when I told the salesman that I really didn't want to have both a thermostat AND a humidistat on my living room wall, the company included the all-in-one for the original estimate price. (2) I ran the five estimates past my brother (the contractor) who said all except one seemed more than fair, and that was before the thermo-/humidistat was thrown in. One of the other salesmen who provided an estimate even told me that Pugh would do a good job for me when I said I was going with them instead of his company.

Very satisfied. He arrived on time, made certain the new piping was working (e.g. draining) correctly and repaired a tiny leak that was found after the work was complete (good quality assurance). Dale also added another valve to allow me to add a spigot to the front of our house this summer (another value added suggestion I really appreciated).
