Pugh Heating & Air Conditioning

I called at 7:30pm. The on-call staff wasn't sure if they would come out but said she would pass it along. Fine. I waited until 9:00 pm and I called back. They said that the tech was probably stuck on a job but they would pass it along. I called at 10:30 pm. The staff asked if I wanted them to reach out again to the technician. I said no, I have been waiting for 3 hours for some communication from Pugh and I didn't get any. I told them I wanted to cancel and I will find another company to help me fix my thermostat.

They did a super nice job. They did our ac, but we also use them for our furnace. They were professional.

They replaced a part and it has been working fine ever since. I think the initial call was $99, then the part was like $21, and another $30 in labor charges. They guy really knew what he was doing. I thought he was really good. It was a little pricey, but not that bad. I really don't have anything to compare it to. I will call them again in the Fall, when the furnace comes on and have them do an inspection. My furnace is about 13-14 years old and I am not sure I can trust it.

We have a contract wit them and they come out twice a year. It covers both heating and air conditioning. We've never checked on anyone else prices.

We are not really done with them yet because they are going to come back and do some more work for us. They called and let me know when they are coming. We had a mix up on the time and they came right back. They are very responsive. I have recommended them to people too.

I love Pugh. They are real organized. They are on time. They are organized. Their techs are good. They seemed to be ballpark with everybody else on price. Matter of fact, we have an contract with them to come every fall to tune up the furnace, and every spring for the prep of the air conditioner. We handle them when things go wrong, like the blower motor. They are our go to for heating and air.

I changed service providers because of their service. I only used them twice a year for check-ups on the air conditioner. They need to pay attention to detail and they were prompt.

They were thorough and paid attention to detail. My decision to go with the other company was because they found a potential fire hazard.

Their price was a little high. Their punctuality and professionalism were an A+. I would absolutely use them in the future.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone on the Pugh team! From the honest assessment of our existing equipment to the straight answers to our questions regarding available options to the actual installation, Pugh was light years ahead of the competition. They were also less expensive than the two other quotes we received. They did the job on time and on budget with minimal interruption. It's been ten months since the installation but the quality of their work is still evident in the flawless performance of the new heating and cooling system and in every perfect angle and weld on the electrical and plumbing connections in the basement. Even the promised savings on the utility bills came true! We're seeing lower bills each month with more comfortable inside air and the digital thermostat is amazingly accurate. The 12 months same as cash financing offered by Carrier helped us pick the furnace and a/c we wanted. We highly recommend Mark and the team at Pugh Heating. We've heard their radio ads for years but this was the first time we ever had them do any work for us. Based on our experience, we won't hesitate to call on them for any services in the future!

It went great. They said they would be over at 8 AM and they were. On the first day they dismantled the old furnace and AC and hauled it away. They installed the new furnace and got it running so we could have heat. The second day they put in the AC unit. Again they came at 8 AM on the dot. When the AC was done, Dave went over how to use all the new equipment. They were polite and answered all our questions. The wires were hanging and Steve even used brackets so they we neat and contained. We got a good warranty that even covered labor. Pugh is open 24 hour a day; 7 days a week.

The technician tested several things and found a that it wasn't getting enough fuel. He suggested several options and now it runs great and we have consistent heat.

Doug came out and in a few minutes diagnosed the problem. He then proceded to replace two major parts and repair a leak in my furnace. He also replaced two batteries in my thermostat i didn't even know I had. I feel I received great service. I

I never heard from them. The others I contacted got back with me within 24 hours.

The technician (Kendal, I believe was his name) was very professional and polite. He was very knowledgeable and addressed all of our concerns. We mainly wanted our heating system and a/c tuned up but we also had a noise issue with our duct system. Every time the furnace would shut off, it made a loud "bang" noise that you could hear mainly in our nursery. It was so bad, it would wake the baby up at night. Not only did he do an excellent job with the tune-up, but he also came back the next day to install one more bracket on the duct work and it completely got rid of the noise! Our baby is now sleeping through the night. Thank you so much Kendal!! We will only be using this company in the future for our hvac needs.

Scott & Tyler were both very professional and polite. Their team work was outstanding.

Because our furnace was red tagged they gave us electric heaters and made our job a priority. We had our new furnace running the next afternoon. Installation techs were on time, respectful, skilled in their trade, and included us in decision-making. Very efficient service, installation, and duct cleaning.

They service both heating and air conditioning. We had them install it so we had them for the service. They are very professional and the quality is very good. They are responsive and always professional. They are a little bit higher priced.

I thought they did an exceptional job. I asked them to bring the old unit to the curb which they did. The whole service worked out well. There were two people completing the job, the leader instructed me and explained what they were doing. He was very informative. We didn't have to use the unit for awhile because it was a cooler summer, when I turned it on the new thermostat didn't work. I called Pugh who came out, replaced the fuse, checked it and it kept shorting. They went through a whole box of fuses, they said they would not charge me because they thought it could have been from their installation. They found there was an old humidifier down there that was causing the short as well as a part of the furnace that we had not replaced. They said they wanted to wait awhile to be sure that the humidifier was the cause of the short. They did not bill us until we knew that the old humidifier was the cause and then only billed us for the labor. They satisfied our complaint which was not based on their work and I was happy to pay them.

Arrived as planned and finished early. Very professional and patient with our barking dogs. took time to explain changes. Kelly, who provided the quote was also very helpful and followed through.

Serviceman was on time and professional. Replaced an igniter that was damaged while cleaning - no charge. Pugh service guy was very thorough. He also gave us tips for winterizing our air conditioner. Gave us a clean bill of health on the furnace after a serviceman from a different firm told us we needed a $635 repair. We'd called Pugh for a second opinion , but didn't tell him about the competitor's service call. I'm glad we called Pugh. They saved us money.

The project went very well. The installers showed up on time. Told how long this project would take. Were very neat, using floor covers, towels, rugs, vacuum, etc.

Pugh was very professional and I have every confidence they would have done a great job. By far the highest priced out of 4 quotes.
