It was great. It was $8,200 and I had a $1,000 rebate. They were very pleasant. I would absolutely use them again.

The service was very good. What stood out was their quality, professionalism and the knowledge the salesperson gave us. They came out to our home and were very helpful in helping us make a decision.

The were very efficient and accommodating. They gave me three different options as far as price and explained the quality of each option. The person that came out was very easy to work with and very professional. Also, the vent in the living room has made a remarkable difference. Overall very happy with the services.

I get an annual service on each unit and if I ever have an issue I am provided with priority service and am not required to pay for minor parts. It's really a bit of an insurance plan for my furnace and AC. It costs a bit more, but last summer I used their services several times to work on my finicky AC. It was well worth the money. All of their service people are extremely professional and I feel comfortable having them working in my home.

They were able to get me an appointment in 2 days, which from my experience is relatively quick. We had others come in the past to recharge it so we felt it was probably prudent to actually fix the leak. However, the service tech advised us it would be expensive to fix the leak ($1200-1400) and even if we did we could end up with a new coil with a warranty in an old A/C that could break down long before the warranty on the coil was up. He suggested either just recharging the unit or replacing it all together for what would relatively be no much more ($3300). I appreciated that he offered the options, that he was able to offer quick ball-park costs for my options, and that he respected my decision to move forward with just recharging it rather than selling me a new coil I didn't need. He also brought to our attention that our dryer vent had come detatched even though this wasn't a service the provide and wouldn't generate any additional income for them.

I really like that they offered the warranty. Even the appliances that didn't install, like the A/C unit, they covered it.

technician very thorough, did diagnostics, and patiently set up humidifiers and made sure that everything worked properly. This business installed our new furnace in 2012 and we were very pleased. We have had follow-up service calls since for system adjustments at no cost. technicians for these were very professional and efficient. Although Pugh is somewhat high on price, the service is great and the hardware functions flawlessly.

I was referred to Pugh by Terry Williams over at Action due to the brand of my furnace (Lenox electric). When I called Pugh, I was told that the window for service would be between 1-4. I went out to do the gym and received a call at 1130 that the technician would be there in 15 minutes. Slightly inconvenient but I much, much prefer that over waiting for a 3h window to have the technician show up at 355pm. Anyways, our technician was Mike and after a quick synopsis of the symptoms, he went to work. After about 30 minutes a bad sequencer was diagnosed as the problem. Mike checked on the price of the part and it was subsequently ordered. Mike put everything back together, but we noticed that no air was flowing from the registers despite the blower being on, and functional. So, to the attic Mike went where he found that the splitter was diverting air to only one half of the house...which explains why some rooms are hot and the others cold. Mike then found out that someone had actually placed two filters in the furnace. We have changed one previously, but had no idea that a second was there. Since both are not required, he took one out. He put everything back together and advised me that the furnace is running at about 50% due to the nonfunctional part but that it should be enough to get us through the next few days. We anxiously await the arrival of the part so that we can put this behind us but I wanted to offer my most sincere gratitude for the professionalism, the courteousness, and the promptness!

The service turned out excellent. The price was fair. I have used them before. They did what they said they would do, they were here on time, they communicated, they were here on short notice, and they did a good job. I would use them in the future.

I LOVE these folks! Always on time, polite, thorough, and offer an honest opinion on the work sought, even if it means their opinion is that the work doesn't need to be done.

All equipment works well, they even performed the service sooner than promised.

It went great. He was here for an hour and a half, he was very polite and helpful. He came out and inspected the area first then came out the next day to do the work. He got it all up to code.

Previously Pugh had serviced our old units for decades so I was familiar with their service. Our old furnace and A/C were 30+ years old. They also installed a new water heater here a few years ago, but I don't think I have the details to write about that now. They had estimated that the new installations would take about 3 & 1/2 days and that turned out to be the case. (Nov 8,9,12,13 with a weekend in between.) I don't think they rushed any part of the process and they are thorough. I didn't imagine that it would take so many days, but they needed to work in the garage (furnace), outdoors (A/C), in the attic, on the roof and in the crawl space. The furnace (in the garage) had new piping installed through the attic and roof. Previously the old equipment had been discharging water into the crawl space, which is not appropriate today. So they needed to add a pump that would remove condensation and route it to our garage sink instead of dumping it into the crawl space. Our new units have been working OK. One surprise was that the garage (attached) became a lot colder. The old furnace had vents on the side and warm air from there helped to warm the garage. The new furnace is a closed system. Since the washer and dryer are in the garage and we go in and out of the garage for various things, it seemed we needed to warm the garage somehow. I had called Pugh and they said furnaces with open side vents are no longer used. Options were to add an electric space heater or a new gas heater only for the garage. (The garage can't share ducts with the house. Gases from the cars might get into the house in a shared system.) I bought an electric space heater, which added about $80/month to the electric bill. So we didn't use it much after that. We had been leaving it on all of the time. It needs time to warm the area. So if it was off, it wouldn't heat fast enough if you turned it on and decided to do something in the garage for a while. By the time it warmed the garage, you'd be back in the house. It doesn't have a thermostat. That may have helped some. The new pump was set up to remove excess water from the system and let it drain via the sink that sits next to the washer (the washer dumps water into that sink.) Clear tubing was used to route the water up from the unit, across the garage ceiling and then down into the sink. It didn't take long for the tubing to turn brown/black. It must be mold? We use that sink to bathe the dog and didn't want waste water dumping in the sink during a bath. I called Pugh and they said it would be better not to try to turn the pump off. Instead, turn the thermostat in the house off and then back on again after the bath. So that worked out. But I wonder if the moldy tubing will cause any problems. Maybe it should have stayed in the crawl space but be routed to a pipe emptying into the sewer? I guess we'd need a plumber for that.

After our home was hit by lightening I found that it destroyed our outdoor condenser unit. Pugh has been our HVAC company for several years now with our being on their maintenance program. They first installed a carrier unit that was suppose to have been the same as our 14 year old unit. It absolutely was not. It was very loud and could not remove the humidity in the house even on a slightly warm day. After doing some homework of my own with Pugh swearing it was the same unit, I found that they had replaced it with a base unit. 2nd from the bottom of many units actually. I also learned a little about SEER and how A/C units are rated. Long story short, the maintenance Manager stuck with me and stood behind their work. I like it cold and could care less about my electric bill. They finally installed 2nd from the top of the line for about a grand more than the base. Big deal. I was going to have to live with this thing for 20+ years. Not to mention the insurance company was picking the majority of the bill. 1st claim in over 40 years - FYI. Now I cannot believe how quiet the unit is. You can stand 20 feet away from it and not even hear it running. Cold? D*** cold in the house as I like it. This past summer it got plenty hot and humid and stayed that way night and day for weeks on end. The A/C unit really didn't even act like it was even stressing a little. Every company makes mistakes once in awhile. Not every company will go the distance to make the customer satisfied. Pugh will be that company and backs their work unconditionally.

They were outstanding in every sense. From pre-sale to installation to follow up after the work was done, everything was great. The owner personally came out and inspected the job once it was finished. All the people that work for him were clean, professional, on time, and cleaned up extremely well.

I looked at three companies for estimates. Pugh came out quickly and provided a thorough inspection of my home and existing systems. Their estimate was in the middle of the other two but they had a good reputation, so I decided to use them. Installation was scheduled easily and quickly. They started the job at 9 am and were finished by 4 pm. Installers were very courteous and neat. They put down drop cloths removed all debris from the installation. Unlike some workers, they didn't mind me looking over their shoulder and asking them questions about the installation. Everything went smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to friends and have hired them to complete a natural gas conversion/water tank replacement project next month.

They just go above and beyond. They are very prompt, knowledgable and don't try to upsell you.. You can take what they say as law. I would definitely recommend them.

Everything went well. Jobs was done fast and completely. Only complaint is the price. Pugh seems to charge a bit more than its competitors. My biggest surprise was when I asked about a check and clean on my ac this spring, their price was $120 which seems a little steep to me. Because of the price I am going to try a different company found on angles list with excellent reviews and I hope it goes well.

Pugh is timely, responsive, and pleasant. Furthermore, it does great work and stands behind it.

There is not a lot to tell. They began the job in the morning, and it was finished by about 6 PM. They then showed us how to operate everything, and made sure we were comfortable with it. We were very pleased and still are very happy with them.

.We 1st. met with Kelley for the estimate..called him back a day or so later to sigh our contract. Kelley scheduled our duct cleaning, and within a week they did our installation. We had our A/C unit moved from the back of our house to the west side of our home to make room for our new patio. Our installer cleaned up very well after each day he was here, and made sure my husband & I knew how our new unit worked. Our new A/C worked great all the rest of the summer, & now we are enjoying our new furnace as well! All in all, we know we made the right decision to go with Pugh Heating . Very satisfied!

They were marvelous. The salesman that came out first was very congenial. He gave us total information of what we were doing, and I just highly recommend them. Their price was reasonable. They were very personable. Everything is working properly; we just have to have an inspection. Their work was beautiful.

We have used them on several occasions. They come when they say they are going to come. They tell me what is wrong and explain everything. They do a good job.
