Having purchased a new home with a gas fireplace, wanted a professional to come in and give it a check up, make sure it was working properly, as well as help instruct my wife and I on it. Tim called and mentioned he was running a little late from a previous job which was no problem. Tim showed up and did a thorough cleaning and check up on the unit, answering all my questions, and made sure everything was working properly. Thirty minutes later, everything was wrapped up and we felt so much better about the overall condition of the unit and a comfort level with the unit's operation. Money well spent.

A+++ Experience. We already had a natural gas outlet but could not connect the BBQ. Tim called promptly after we contacted him. I appreciated that he tried to help over the phone indicating that he would have to charge his service fee to show up but I was unable to get it connected. Tim was able to come out 2 days later. He arrived on-time and had the parts to install the BBQ. He even leak tested all the lines and connections.

I called Tim because the other fireplace company I called was booked out 5 weeks. I left a message and Tim returned my call the same day and came out to fix my fireplace 2 days later. He was right on time, very professional, fast & priced right. I would recommend him to everyone and I will use him again if needed.

Everything went great! I called and he was able to come out the next day. He found the problem quickly and was able to fix it. He also rearraged the logs so the fire would breathe better. He answered all my questions and was in and out quickly.

You just do not see this type of professionalism in this day and age. Called Tim to service gas logs, was here the next day. Professional, knowledgable, thorough and polite. Very detailed and provided detailed information on the proper use of the logs. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim and he is the only one I will use in the future. laid down plastic as to not make a mess and vacuumed up after himself for the small bits that were right on the edge of the plastic sheet. took his shoes off outside and was careful to step into the house without stepping on the dirty mat first. He came in with everything he needed (even a screw driver which he did have to use) and he left with everything. No mess. he actually was early and gave me not one (he left a message the first time) but two courtesy calls to let me know he was running early. I called a few places all of which either were busy for a few weeks or they would not return my calls. Tim called me the same day I called him (Thursday) and we set up an appointment for the following Monday. THings to not fret over. 1. He is out in the field all day and when he calls for your courtesy call (which you can request) he uses a and quot;no caller IDand quot; number. 2. Since he is out in the field all day, if you call him, he WILL call you back between 7-9 if you say you are available at those times in your voice message to you. He will call you back.

I was in need of some basic fireplace maintenance and a yearly safety check. I called 3 total providers with high ratings on Angie's List. One provider said it would take 3-4 weeks to come out, the second said he would get back to me next week, Tim Burkitt told me he could come out the next day! We scheduled a time and he came out exactly at the agreed upon time. My Fireplace was operating well, but the logs were not correctly placed and there were some other issues. Tim draped out an area in front of the fireplace and was very careful not to make a mess. He re-positioned the grate, logs, and vermiculite in the correct fashion. He then placed and quot;embersand quot; (Which are actually a form of insulation) on top. He brought these with him. They make the fire appear real. He then checked for any leaks around the turn key. He also educated me on proper use and the best way to light the fire. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of this service. My fireplace looks better than ever!!! Thanks Tim!

Tim was on time, removed his shoes, covered the work area with a tarp, then inspected and cleaned the entire unit. He also provided tips for gas fireplace usage, then cleaned up and left in less than 1 hour. A perfect job and my fireplace works perfectly!

We had lost power on Wed and I wanted to use my gas logs but I was afraid to use them. We had not used our gas logs in over 5 years and they needed serviced. Tim was the original installer of my fireplace gas logs so I called him. He came out and cleaned the logs, pilot lights, and burners and gave us helpful advice on both sets of logs. One set is vented and the other is vent-free which we had forgotten over the years.

Tim was very professional in his work- the day he was scheduled to work was the day of our first measurable snow- Tim is professional in his work-I appreciate his working around my travel schedule to get this scheduled Tim installed a new gs line from my basement o my masonry fireplace- Time knew his work and is very skilled at it

It was very easy to contact Tim and schedule an appointment. Tim arrived at the scheduled time. He got to work right away. He was very friendly and even took a few minutes to throw a ball for my dog. Tim took out the old rusted grill post, poured new cement in the hole and set the new post. When he finished it looked like we had a new grill. He cleaned up everything and left.

The pilot on my fireplace would not light. Tim first cleaned the soot off the logs, then kept trying to light the pilot and tested the voltage from the switch. He determined that I needed a new thermopile. He removed the old one with great difficulty, as it had not been touched for over 20 yrs. and was fused to the connection. Also, everything is almost impossible to access in this old installation. After he attached the new one, the pilot stayed lit, but the burner would not light. He tried every adjustment possible and finally got it to work. Then a small gas leak was detected at the connection to the valve -- again very difficult to access with wrench and hands. He worked diligently, determined to tighten the connection, until no gas could be detected. Tim was here for an hour and forty minutes, on the floor, his hands squeezed underneath the workings of the fireplace. It was frustrating and tedious work, but he was friendly and gentlemanly during the entire ordeal. I watched most of the time, and he answered all my questions gladly. He was recommended by a neighbor in my condo complex, and I'm happy I took that advice. My fireplace has never worked as well as it does now.

Tim cleaned all of the switches and crevices to ensure that gas was flowing properly to the pilot light.

Good - he was on time and took about 45 minutes of clean the fire place and replace the gaas logs

Tim showed up on time, and repaired the remote that turned on the gas logs. He also cleaned the gas logs and burner. He is very professional.

Mr. Burkitt was very accomodating in scheduling the appointment. In fact, he called to reschedule for an earlier day/time which was what I needed. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing during the entire process.

He has done an excellent job of installing and maintaining our in-ground gas grill. He did an excellent job of tying into the existing gas line that was underground. We have been very happy with the gas grill that we bought from him.
