Simple Bath & Simple Kitchen

We needed two bathrooms updated. Work included new floors, two new showers, two new vanities, mirrors and awhirlpool tub. It was a complete gutting and renewal. All of the workers were professional and their work was excellent. We are very pleased with the results and are planning to have two half baths done later this year. Dick Ransom was exellent to work with. He walked us through the process and visited the job site several times to insure it went well. We were able to choose from a wide range of materials and finishes to make our rooms unique.

The installation team was punctual, polite and cleaned up the job site each day. There were only minimal disruptions to our routines during the install. All in all, we could not be happier.

Spoke to owner, Mary, at the Columbus Home & Garden Show in the spring of 2014. She spoke of all the great advantages of their Onyx shower system and there was a nice display there to see. We learned the product is made in the USA and is guaranteed forever. I filled out a card at the show to have someone contact me and within 2-3 days I received a call about setting up a time to come out and give us an estimate. Gary arrived at the time and date agreed upon. He took the time to look at existing room and to see what we wanted done. He explained the Onyx product and provided samples of the colors. We chose Tiramisu. He wrote up an estimate and gave me a copy. Gary was at our home approximately 70 minutes. After we agreed to the estimate which included the $500 off (home and garden show discount or Angie's List, not both), he advised that next we would be contacted by Tony who would come and take exact measurements for the job. Aaron and Anthony showed up to do the work at the time and date agreed to. They placed drop cloths on the floor to protect our carpet. They were professional and made me aware multiple times that they wanted ME to be satisfied with the outcome. They set up saw horses in our front yard on which to cut the pieces for our shower. They worked very efficiently, were very polite, answered all our questions and did an overall great job. Our job took two days which was the original indication. We would definitely recommend Simple Bath to others.

It was a great experience! I dealt with the owner, Mary. She came to my house and saw all my issues. She told me they were all things her company could handle and she was right. I went to the showroom where I could see samples of the materials they use. She went through the entire process with me and made suggestions on colors and materials that would work in my small bath. The main thing that sold me was that they tear everything out and don't just cover up possible problems. The crew that did the work was great. Rex and Joe worked so hard and always took time to explain everything to me. Bryan also was great and helped to complete the job on schedule. I can't say enough about what a great job they all did for me. Everything turned out great.

The design consultation was excellent with Mary and follow up with estimate prompt and very clear. Communication and completion of the install had a few minor bumps but the crew was fantastic and we love our bathroom.

They were really fast and cleaned up well. They started on time and ended on time. It was a great value for what we paid.

The work was done in 3 days from start to finish, and that is what I liked. They had 2 people that came, and they worked for 8 hours a day. Everything was included in the cost. I had an estimate done the previous year, and it seems like they were cheaper. I had a coupon, so I got about $500 off.

Brian and Mike arrived on time each day and performed all their duties in a professional manner. My wife and I have no complaints. Ohio Simple Bath only do bathrooms; that is why they are EXPERTS in what they do.

Sorry for a long delay on this review. We absolutely love our new bathroom. We had some problems during the install. The top was not the proper one to fit the new vanity. They had to reorder new one. Also the painter painted over tile which they had to correct. It was a tough start but I am so pleased. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them. Sorry for the late review. I would give them a A+

From start to finish, it truly was a simple process, just like their name states. Mary came to our home and was so helpful in choosing the right fixtures and cabinetry that would fit with our home décor. She is very knowledgeable in her field and we felt confident with her from the very beginning of the project. Anthony and Aaron (aka "The A Team") were fabulous. They were prompt, very courteous, and very diligent in cleaning up each day. They were in our home for three days and we couldn't be happier with the results.

I had this company replace my bathtub and walls and ceiling around it a couple years ago. The tub cleans easily but the caulk was getting mildew on it despite my cleaning efforts. Called Simple Bath and they were out within a couple days to replace the mildew/moldy caulking. The tub looks great.

Simple Bath is a first class operation. From the initial meeting until the very last item was installed, the owners, staffers and installers presented nothing but professionalism. The owners, Mary and Dick, met with us a few times. After hearing what we wanted to achieve, they made suggestions and presented an accurate estimate. Later, they came to the house, made some new and improved suggestions, and helped us nail down the proper decor. They also promised that the installation, minus the shower doors, would be completed in five days; this promise was kept. The installers started on Monday and were gone on Friday. Something that we had never experienced with past remodeling projects. The painter came on Saturday and completed his role in a few hours. The installers, Rex and Joe, deserve special recognition. Every day they arrived on time and gave a full days work. Then, at the end of each day, they put their tools away and cleaned the work areas. Their punch-out of the project on the final day was truly professional - they made many minor adjustments while cleaning and polishing all cabinets and surfaces. When they departed, the bathroom was not only spotless, but was fully functional - and to us - worry free. Also, the popcorn plaster guy and the shower door installers did outstanding work and must be mentioned. We definitely feel we got a lot more - results and attention - than we paid for and will not hesitate to recommend Simple Bath of Ohio in the future.

It went well. Mary was awesome to work with in the planning.The work only took 2 days. When I wasn't happy with the shades on my lights, Mary made sure it was taken care of. We have had our renovated bathroom about a year and a half. I still love it and have no regrets about about using Simple Bath.

The entire experience with this company was top notch. From the initial planning to final installation this was an exceptionally professional organization. The price was right and the quality of the finishes and installation was outstanding. We will definitely be using them again and wholeheartedly will recommend them to anyone who asks.

This company does it right. They were in and out in 4.5 days. And this was no small job. Shower/tub area had a soffit that had to be removed. There was also a floor to ceiling linen cabinet that had to be removed. The toilet and sink had to be relocated. The cabinets above and below the counter top had to be custom built. The Onyx looks GREAT! We originally wanted tile, but after seeing this product, we switched to it and we're very glad we did. Same with the floor. Both the Onyx shower enclosure and Onyx counter top, plus the flooring have a lifetime warranty which includes all the seams. They make sure you are happy with the results. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY.

The salesperson was on time for our appointment and was very helpful in picking out everything for the bathroom. Can't say enough good things about Bill and Jim who installed everything. They were here for 4-1/2 days. They were on time every day and when they left every thing was cleaned up - even my garage. They did a very good job. I

I was impressed with the quality of the work. They were efficient and removed all the construction debris. They left the area cleaner than when they started the project. The only negative was they forgot to install a grab bar that I had specifically asked to be installed. They were very nice about the confusion and have promised that ti will be installed next week. I am confident it will be done.

From the very minute I met Mary, the owner of Simple Baths, I felt very much at ease. Mary came to our home and walked through our two bathrooms giving us honest input as to what we could do to update our existing bathrooms. She was never pushy, but treated us like we know she would have treated someone in her own family. Mary's background in interior design is an added plus! She made suggestions as to the color of the flooring and vanity which was very helpful. She even came over to our home and made suggestions for wall paint to help me tie the room all together. The job the crew from Simple Bath did was outstanding. Great attention to detail, cleaned up their work and communicated with my husband as the project unfolded. The two bathrooms we have are now showcase quality! Thank you Mary and staff for all you have done to make our bathrooms a real treat to come home to at the end of a long day!

Owner (Mary) was very consultative in her approach working with us. She manages her company and marketing and does design work. Mary concentrates on the interior design and she has elder care design experience as well. She has a 'do it right" attitude which her staff reflects. She employes an experienced, professional and personable staff for the demolition and installation work. Both Mary and her project manager (Gary) personally checked in or visited during the installation phases. The only sub contract work was the extensive plumbing drain changes (Waterworks) and the electrical (Electric Connection) for the new tub Company approach is to design, spec out, order and receive everything possible in advance so that when work begins, the project proceeds non-stop to completion, except for custom glass door/wall measured installed a week or so later. . PROJECT DETAIL...Removed old fixtures, vanity and flooring and underlay. Removed critical drywall areas to check for any past leak damage and mold problems (no problems found). Ripped out the 1x 3 foot empty wall cavity that held some drain lines in order to make the shower wider. Replaced the toilet and relocated it by 16 inches in order to further enlarge the walk in shower. The new shower is low thresh hold, and is about double the floor area of the old one. Combination adjustable height shower head doubles as a hand held spray. The extensive drain revision for the shower, toilet and tub was subcontracted. Blocking installed in the shower walls to support a shower seat if desired later on. Replaced the large awkward corner jet tub with a standard 5 foot jetted tube with powered bubble and heater features. Tub faucet set includes a pull out hand held spray. Replaced the old 6 foot vanity with a new 6 foot vanity, but selected "flipped" version cabinets with real drawers below the cabinet doors. Custom vanity is off-white with a glaze. Added a matching linen cabinet between tube and toilet. All cabinet drawers and doors are 'soft" close and the drawers are full extension. New one piece 7 1/2 vanity counter with 2 molded sinks and 18 inch overhang for towel basket below. The shower walls, sinks, counter, and tub surround are all matching Onyx solid surface. All Moen faucets in brushed chrome. New commercial grade sheet vinyl flooring in the bathroom and master closet, nicely pattern matched at the closet door thresh hold. This flooring feels warm to the touch and is unlikely to break what ever we we might drop on it. I did the wall and ceiling painting myself after the project. Mary phoned us during the project and visited immediately after the 6 day project ended to make her review and to discuss any issues. She helped select appropriate additional towel bars and riings which were installed a few days later. Brian and Anthony worked full time on the project, and sometimes Chas . All three were conscientious, industrious and personable. They ran drop clothes from the front door to the bathroom and removed them the end of every day. They confirmed details like shower faucet and towel bar placement before proceeding. They were orderly and cleaned up the area daily. They did quality work and checked with us regularly as work progressed. ISSUES.... The vanity center drawer cabinet arrived lacking the full extension feature ordered for all cabinetry. It was installed temporarily for our convenience until the proper cabinet could be built, shipped and installed about 4 weeks later. We found the original electric circuit for the old tub could not handle the all the features of the new tub. Mary promptly arranged for the 2 additional 15 amp GFI circuits needed. The counter overhang needed additional support and a matching support column was promptly ordered None the less we had a functioning bathroom on day 7 and the several issues were promptly and happily taken care of consistent with her "do it right" attitude..

They were very professional, did the job with very little disruption to the rest of the house and were even pleasant about putting up with my curious dog. They are not the cheapest quote, but they use the best fixtures with lifetime warranties, and they are quick. Other quotes said my bathroom would take a week. These guys did it in two days. I am extremely pleased! I have only one bath, so I won't need them again, but I highly recommend to anyone else.

I was very pleased with them. They completed the work in three days just as promised, used quality products, and did an excellent job. It was a seamless project from start to finish.

Excellent workmanship. Installers were very good. Mary was an excellent source for picking out the materials and colors that would work with our existing granite and tile. The shower looks great; however I am very disappointed with the quartz. The shower floor never ever dries. I can take a shower on Friday evening go away for the weekend and come back on Sunday morning and there will still be water puddles on the shower floor. This has created a mold situation in all four corners of the shower. When I purchased the product I was told by Mary's husband that I could clean with Mr. Clean Magic eraser. When I read the factory cleaning instructions they stated you could not use anything abrasive. I called simple bath and they told me to use dawn dish detergent and water. I clean this shower once a week and never had intended on getting into so much work. The only way to eliminate the standing water on the floor is to wipe the shower down fully each time you use it. That becomes a very time consuming event. I really liked the provider and her staff, but would not use this particular product again.

Everything turned out great. No complaints. I would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Simple Bath Ohio - 5 star outfit!! This was the best experience I can report on a company and their team. They started and finished just like they said. No mess to clean up after they left. Just amazed me all around! If you are looking for a company that answers the phone, no strong sales pitch, cleans up behind themselves, has contractors who works all day and does not stop to take smoking breaks or runs to the store; this company is for you. Want the job done right the first time? Want quality service for your money? If yes...try the best! What sold me on this company was their customer service. Excellent from start to finish. I called the other "bath tub fitter" and got voice mail. I called twice and received the automated voice message. Called Simple Bath and got a very nice lady to answer the phone. Some companies might be a bit cheaper; but customer service...priceless. Thank you Angie for your vision by starting such a wonder way to assist people. Trust, is something that still goes a long way. Simple Bath hit the ball right out of the park!
