Overall, excellent! They were great in every part of the process....from meeting to discuss the project to finishing every detail to my satisfaction. The crew that did the work was fantastic and very professional. This was the best contractor I have ever used in my 30 years of owning my house.

They arrived a day early and finished the job in 3 days. My patio is beautiful and I can't wait to use it. The workers were friendly and helpful.

Matt's team worked hard and did an excellent job transforming our front patio from brick to bluestone pavers and limestone steps. They did a great job and then some!

Great design, worked with our specific needs & budget, work began and lead crew was great and made minor changes per our request. Cleaned up each day and finished quickly.

They showed up on time and they worked an eight hour day and then they left, for all the days that they worked. They did really good work. They were a little messy and they left one piece of equipment behind. The end result was very good. It took us a while to get it scheduled.

Owner, Matt, is easy to work with. Workers were knowledgeable, reliable and hard working. Project done on time and beyond our expectations. Reasonable pricing and good follow up to ensure we were completely satisfied.

Great design. We chose 9 Trees because Scott came up with a unique use for the space that we had while other estimates were more cookie-cutter. The design utilized the space better than we expected. The work was excellent throughout. Very impressed with the skill of the workers, the ability to adhere to the design and to address issues as they came up. The pergola design was custom designed and fit aesthetically perfectly with an outdoor shed that was constructed by another contractor. I would use 9 Trees again without question for a project of this type, and would recommend them to anyone looking to get similar work done! Only issues throughout were pretty similar to any work of this type. 1) Timing - These types of projects always seem to work on their own timing, so the work started a week later than expected. However, Scott kept us informed throughout and it was actually completed 2 days early. For the pergola design, the wood didn't come in when expected which delayed that part of the project a week as well. 2) Cost - We had 3 estimates for the work we were hoping to get done and 9 Trees was the most expensive. Obviously a large part of this was the custom quote and it was WELL WORTH IT. However, it's a fair price that they charge, definitely not the cheapest option on the street.

We were extremely pleased with the work that Scott and his team from 9 Trees did. The patio and landscaping look great. We got a couple of quotes and 9 Trees was extremely competitive (they also did not try to "up-sell" us.

Scott, our designer, was easy to work with and designed exactly what we wanted. The two man crew was on time, professional, and clean. Our finished product exceeded our expectations. We love our new outdoor space.

I've been doing business with 9 Trees for several years (5? Maybe more?) and I still love the way they do business. Specifically this spring I asked them to again put me on the schedule to do the Spring Cleanup. They always show up when they say, but for this service, there's no specific date agreed on. I just know they'll be here at some point. A couple of weekends ago (really rainy weekend) I was away from home. On Monday, I noticed the grass was long, and maybe someone had ridden a bike through the yard. Later, I was mowing and realized they'd cleaned out all the landscape beds, removed the Lilac branches I'd neglected since fall, and edged all the beds! And the only sign was the work was done and the (too tall) grass was bent a little. Today, I heard a truck stop in front, and there they were to finish. In less than 2 hours, they'd mulched all the beds, cleaned up, and were gone! And again, the only sign was that it looks great and the grass (which needs to be mowed again) is bent a little. No mess, nothing! 9 Trees also treats my lawn (fertilizing, weed control) and they replaced our patio (which now looks fabulous!) I've never been disappointed with them. They seem to always do the little extras - like today they used a blower to clean the area in the street where they parked.

Great job. They were fast, courteous, focused and took pride in their work. Quality of craftsmanship is top notch. It went through its first winter with no issues whatsoever. The patio is rock solid and looks like they just finished it yesterday. I look forward to many seasons of enjoyment with this patio. Neighbors love the look and wanted to know who did such fine work. I happily passed your name on.

I have worked with them on 3 separate occasions. All employees are professional. They arrive on time and work the entire time until finished. I recommend them to all of my friends and will use them again. You will not go wrong with this company. Even if you don't know what you actually want, they can draw up plans and prices quickly.

It went excellent, It went so well we are hiring them again this year.

Patio repair - we had to call them back to do additional, they removed supports and did not put them back - will have to get redone. Fall clean up - Barely trimed anything/hardly could tell they did anything!

They did a fantastic job. It looks absolutely beautiful. They really listened to me and paid attention to what I wanted. I was extremely thrilled once I saw the finished product, and their job looks beautiful. The guys that did the job were here every day, rain or shine, and steadily worked hard to get the job done. Their work ethic was fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had called for someone to give me an estimate for many things,aeration,new landscaping,new beds,possible killing off grass and reseeding.Stuff you do in the fall and a landscaping company should do. The appointment went well and I was told it would take 1 to 2 days for the estimate because they were busy. no problem. Two weeks go by and no estimate. I send a message and ask where is my estimate ? The reply was " I have been told the work has been completed." how 9 trees would know that I'm not sure. I replied all the work has not been completed and what I did I did my self. Also if you look back at other reviews this is what 9 trees says alot. Then 9 trees said thanks for the opportunity, but your project was not a good fit?? WHAT?! Landscaping company cant do this type of work? interesting. This statement also being what they tell customers who were upset with their service. I would not recommend this company and it sounds like they give customers the same excuses. SAD, STAY AWAY

We chose two contractors (based on Angie's List ~ A rating) to provide us with an estimate, based on our wants and budget. 9 Trees (Scott Ross) came out, asked questions and took several pictures. He then provided us with an estimate and a beautiful design which was very hard to pass up. We met with him in his office a couple times, in which he provided us with a 3D layout of how our patio would look upon completion. This was very helpful. And although, WE couldn't decide on a couple items (fire pit, steps and a couple plants), Scott was patient with us, he would always listen to our concerns, offered suggestions and when we decided, it was a go. The two crew members (Shane & Cheo) who worked on our patio from start to completion were phenomenal. They worked very diligently, were very polite, answered any questions we had during the process and at the end of the day, cleaned up our yard of any debris and actually blew off our yard where boards had been laying for heavy equipment. Shane and Cheo started the job by removing our existing deck, everything in between and finally, completing our landscape. Two times, Matt stopped by to see how the job was going and if we had any concerns. We are beyond happy, with our new patio and they totally exceeded our expectations on how it would turn out. I have already recommended them to friends, will continue to do so in the future and we will definitely call on them should the need arise down the road. **THANK YOU, 9 Trees!! :)

Matt, the owner was very professional and friendly. During over design meetings. The crew caries and Demetria were very old- fashioned craftsmen who truly took pride in their work.

We have been using 9 trees for years. They built our patio, created some landscaping beds and now continue to do our yard mowing and spring bed cleanup. Yard care is always done on schedule and they do a great job mowing, edging, and cleaning up. They always do a good job and we recommend them to others.

Overall, it went great. We got bids from three highly rated contractors from Angie's list. 9Trees bid was competitive. Matt, the owner was very responsive and prompt to return calls or e-mails. His crew was very professional and hard working. Their craftsmanship is excellent! All the lines are perfectly straight. All the surfaces are perfectly level. The patio is sloped perfectly for drainage. I would not hesitate to recommend 9Trees. They were prompt and cleaned up the work site every day.

Scott listened to what we wanted and provided a really nice and professional design and plan. He also provided really helpful insight on paver choice. The team was punctual and paid great attention to detail. We appreciated, as did the neighbors, that the team swept our driveway and the road in front of our house from the bobcat hauling debris and material each day. The project was completed on time. We gave a B for responsiveness as phone calls were not returned very promptly, e-mail communication was better. We are extremely happy with the finished product and are enjoying our new space.
