Description of Work: Primo Exteriors, LLC provided repair services for siding on the front of my house. After some weather related delays, Primo Exteriors came when they promised and repaired the siding and gutter at the front of my home. They were courteous and professional. I am pleased with the results and would use them again.

Description of Work: We hired a general contractor to construct a new detached garage on our property. The general contractor hired Primo Exteriors to put the siding on the garage. Primo Exteriors claimed the general contractor did not pay them. We paid the general contractor the full amount for the completion of the garage. Primo Exteriors allegedly did not collect any money from the general contractor and instead put a lein against our home. We had to hire an attorney in an effort to have the lein removed. I won't go into the long story of the legal actions but in the end Primo Exteriors did not remove the lein but it is noted in court records that they no longer have any legal claim to any of our property. We didn't feel that it was our responsibility to pay for something twice. In the end we paid for the construction of the garage and spent a considerable amount of money in legal fees in order to have our property records cleared.

Description of Work: God Bless Primo Exteriors. They just replaced our roof. Our house was built in 1931. The original owners did not install the roof correctly. The second owners only added layers.We have owned our house for twelve years. We were ready to finally replace the roof, aware that the previous owner had put more than one layer at most three layers that would need to be stripped before replacing with a new roof. When Primo took off the upper roof they found that the original roof never had plywood laid down, that first layer all roofs are supposed to have. We were mortified. It added to the cost of course but also added a ton of work. It took the workers a lot of extra time and some of the days they worked weren't the best weather wise. They powered through and did a great job. Anytime we had questions they were happy to answer them and when something came up during the process of installing the roof they were quick to address any of our concerns. They are going to be installing windows for us next month. Then sometime before or by Spring they will be installing siding, trim, fascia and soffits as well as gutters.We look forward to it and recommend them highly. pp

+ -1 moreThis was an exceptional job because we had a rotting hole in the roof and a stubborn insurance company. James from Primo came out to give us an estimate in June. He discovered the severity of the roof damage and told us we needed to file a claim with our insurance company. Six months and we finally decided to go ahead with the repair and re-roofing dispite our insurance refusal to honor the full claim. Primo continued to follow our situation until we decided to proceed. The extra cost included replacing several sheets of plywood-type material, and the other regular materials required for a roof. It also included a higher quality, more extreme shingle, and a metal finishing edge. The work crew did the whole thing in one day on a warm winter day. They were very professional, cleaning up the whole yard around the house after the job. My neighbor even commented on how good the work crew worked and cleaned after the job.

I received estimates from 3 other companies and chose Primo because I felt like he was honest with his estimate and what they would do for a certain amount of money. He even reminded me to check with my Homeowner's Assoc to make sure I was permitted to put up vinyl siding rather than cement board. His crew arrived when they said they would and did a wonderful job. I've had many compliments on the work they did. I am likely to replace my roof in the next 2 - 3 years and will be calling Primo for it. I would highly recommend this company.

Very responsive with scheduling for quoting. Very professional with quoting process and paperwork. Identified that we had hail damage - unexpected. Consulted with us on our insurance claim - went above and beyond. Then they followed through on Helped us through the selection of materials - very knowledgable. Completing the demo, install and clean up all in one day - as promised. Followed through to make sure we were completely satisfied. We are going to have our gutters replaced and our siding - and very we are going to use PRIMO. Others in our family are going to use PRIMO as well based upon our recommendation. We had an excellent experience and a reasonable cost. Thank you PRIMO.

They did what they had to do, cleaned up well, and then left. They also did the job for much less than any other quote we received. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: The repaired the siding close to the roof on the right side gable. They ended up fixing another piece of siding on the left side close to the back for no extra cost because they had extra siding.

+ 0 moreWe needed a new roof and siding on our work shed in the back yard. I called Primo exteriors and talked to James the owner. He arranged to come out to talk to us about cost and options. After we decided, he told us when a crew would be available and we settled on a date. The crew came on the day we decided on and they completed 90% of the work on the first day. The next day they came back and completed the job. It was done professionally and on time. James is a great person to work with and he stands by what he says.His crew was neat and they did a fantastic job on the shed. We liked him so much that I told a few friend about his company and they are thinking of using him as well. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again on any project. It's hard these days to find a good company that does what they say they will do, but Primo Exteriors is an honest company and did a great job.

+ -1 moreThe experience was excellent even though we had rain on and off which delayed finishing the project as expected. I had six bids on the roof. Primo was not the low bidder but competitive. I picked Primo for the following reasons: Went to see his work on another house, he used the best quality shingles and base materials, price was competitive and I liked the owner. James Cox did everything he said he would do and more. He was at the job every day to make sure the process ran smoothly.There were a couple things that were not right but he made sure they were fixed. My overall experience was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

+ -1 morePrimo Exteriors, owned by James Cox, installed our roof on 3/31/12. James met with us prior to his bid and explained what a shingle was made of. He also brought several shingle samples from different manufacturers. James did not personally recommend a particular shingle product, but gave us enough information so we can make an informative choice. James was the only company who bid on our job who bothered to explain everything in detail. Instead of the 30lb felt underlayment, he installed Diamond Deck synthetic underlayment, at no additional charge. The workmen who installed the roof did a very professional job. Their clean up was very thorough. I would recommend Primo Exteriors to anyone who had exterior work to be done.
