This is going to be one boring review. I can"t say enough good things about James Cox and his men at primo exteriors. Let"s start with the responsiveness. James always answered or called back immediately when I had questions or concerns-a rare thing in this business. On the job site his men were totally professional at all times and extremely nice even when I had somewhat silly questions. Everyone tried to work with my husband and I when we saw something we were not happy with (did not happen but once) to resolve the issue which they did. James worked with us to give us a great price for the work because he had an idea that other companies weren't willing to talk about and it worked beautifully. We are extremely happy with the quality of the job and that is saying something because my husband is a quality director at his job! James team showed up in the dead of winter sometimes in the snow (this was done in February) and I would ask "it is freezing out-what are you doing here?" Well they were here to get the job done and they did. We are very happy with the investment we made in our home due to James and his team. The improvement in the looks of our home with the hardie siding over our old cedar is tremendous. All in all we couldn't be happier!

They came and tore off all the old and wrapped the house and garage in Ty-vek. Then they trimmed out the house, putting on the soffits and the fascia and putting up the siding. The crew then finished it up by helping us to redo the railing on our porch and put in a new storm door which we contracted with the crew separately from the other work. They did a great job. We have gotten so many compliments on the work done on the outside of our house. It looks like a brand new house. We couldn't be happier. The crew worked so hard and we so appreciate all they did to make our house look so beautiful. Thank you Primo!!!!

They came out and took out our old pulley windows and replaced them with vinyl windows. It went very well. They were very quick and thorough.

Very quick response time. I purchased big deal last evening and they were at my house by 3:30 pm today. It was very cold and I had 6 inches of snow in my yard. They started on the job immediately. Very professional and had work completed within 45 minutes.

The service went very well. As a matter of fact, it ended up very affordable and the folks were very quick. They did the job excellently. They came within about four hours; it was really quick. They did not charge more than the Big Deal. It was a very good service. As a matter of fact, I did not even see them. They came out. I was at work. They did it. They just let me know it was done and it was done very well. They were very punctual.

The work crew did a great job. They were done in about 30 minutes and were very professional. The only small negative was that the owner tried to "upsell" me into replacing the vinyl siding on the entire side of the house for $1500. He said that if it was his house, that's what he would do. He was probably right, but that's not what I wanted. In the end he did as I asked and I believe the repair job will last for another 10 years.

After last winter?s harsh weather, my house was in desperate need of siding and new windows. My son searched Angie?s List and contacted Primo Exteriors LLC. I was impressed with the Contractor?s honesty, fair pricing, and added senior discount. He promised that he would try to keep in place all of the unique gingerbread designs and original stained glass window in front of the house. Throughout the process his competent team worked diligently and skillfully until my house emerged beautifully sealed, gingerbread designs and stained glass window saved and highlighted, a fine house even beyond its original beauty. James was on time every time, did what he said he was gonna do when he said he was gonna do it. Was very good about addressing all my questions and concerns. And the job was done and completed just as he said it would be...very happy with the service his company provided.

Very knowledgable about the options. Professional, hard-working crew. They identified an additional issue with a gutter and made that repair at the same time. Clean up was very good. Overall, we are very satisfied with the process and the end result!

Material was delivered beforehand. The crew came and preformed the work in one day as promised. The area was cleaned of all trash and the new roof looks great.

They were the best! They workers that came out did an excellent job on the siding. I recommended them to a neighbor and they did great work for them, too. I was pleasantly surprised with the pricing and the quality of the work is excellent.

Exceptional quality of people to work with. James Cox is also a pleasure to work with. He is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The crew is also very professional and did an excellent job and cleaned up very well after the job was completed. The job was done well and in a very reasonable time. We wish all the people we work with are as good as this group. We will be delighted to have them work on any other jobs on our house and highly recommend them for our neighbors.

Exceptional. That's the word we use to describe the service we received. The owner James is not only personable, but great to work with. He is extremely knowlegable about all aspects of not only siding and installation, but also roofing and windows. We liked his straightforward attitude - it was so refreshing compared to others who were into high pressure sale tactics. I recently found out in addition to being a small business owner, James is wounded war veteran - which just makes it all that special that we selected his bid. His crew was fantastic - very professional, with great personalities. They were very accomodating when we needed to let our dogs outside in the backyard and very miticulous in their work. Not only was the quality of the install fabulous, but the crew made sure they cleaned up every last scrap of debris before they left. We were actually sad to see them go! And boy does our house look fantastic! We've gotten so many compliments from neighbors. We highly recommend James and his crew and will definitely use them in the future if the need arises. The roof on our barn and home were damaged by wind, and they were also about 25 years old. I looked up reviews on Angie's List and called some of the top rated roofing companies in my area. Primo Exteriors, Bohannan Roofing, and Guaranteed Roofing. They all came out and gave me good estimates. But James at Primo was the friendliest, did a very thorough inspection, and explained all the options available. He also found some rotten wood on the eaves that I hadn't noticed. He was also the only one that called me back a few days after giving me an estimate. I am a very picky person, and me and my family plan on living in this home for many years to come, so I wanted the roof done right. Primo carries several different brands and levels of shingles to choose from, but we picked top of the line Atlas StormMaster shingles, which have the best warranty I saw anywhere - withstand winds up to 130 mph, hail impact resistant, algae proof for life, etc, etc. These shingles also qualify for a home owners discount because of the hail proof rating. We have a pretty big barn, and our house roof is very steep. The whole job took about 3-1/2 days to complete. We had lots of rain in the month of May, but Primo worked around the rain, and didn't let the roof decking get rained on. Getting the job done right was my #1 concern. This roof should last for 30 years, so why rush it? There are many different ways to do roofing. There are lots of guys out there that are just out to make a buck, and will cut corners wherever they can, and the homeowner will probably never notice the difference, but Primo does it right. James at Primo makes sure that the roof is put on exactly to the shingle manufacturer's specs. James used the top of the line synthetic felt, and ice/water guard at every angle change on the roof. Very few companies use real "starter shingles" on the perimeter of the roof, like the manufacturer requires, for the warranty to apply. Many other roofers will just use a 3 tab shingle on the edge as a starter shingle, to save money. Primo also used the proper ridge cap shingles. This is how it has to be done if you want the shingle manufacturer to cover you in a warranty claim. It's cheaper to do the job right the first time. Once the roofs were finished, they installed new 6" gutters on our barn, and they look much better than the old ones. Very straight and sturdy. I am also glad that I went with black gutters on the barn. It makes you notice the beautiful roof, instead of the gutters. The roofers were professional, showed up around 8 am or earlier, and put in long hard days of work. They don't take long lunches, and disappear, or show up drunk, like I've seen with other roofing companies. They did a good job covering the ground and bushes with tarps, and cleaning up afterward. They used a magnet to pick up any nails in the grass. FYI, its a good idea to mow your grass real short on the day before the roofers start working. This will make it easier to find nails in the grass. When you tear off the old roof it usually sends a few nails flying out past the tarps. It's impossible for them to find every single nail, so it's a good idea to buy yourself a nail magnet from Lowe's for $15. It's a big magnet on a stick. You will probably find a few nails after it rains a few times. I paid my kids 10 cents for each nail they could find with the magnet. They found a few, as I expected. The kids were happy to add some money to their piggy banks. I research all my big purchases very thoroughly. I am not easily fooled by salesmen. I don't waste my money. I find the best product for the best price. I Googled and researched the various roofing shingle brands, vents, roof felt, and other products that Primo uses. I also looked up Primo's website and Facebook page, which are better than most other roofing companies out there. If you want it done right, and at a great price, call Primo Exteriors.

It went a lot faster than we expected. Everything was put on that was advertised. Some brands that he said were going to go on did go on. Everything was done in one day. The clean up couldn't be better. When they ran a magnet around it, they found 4 nails. I do not think you could ask for anything better. The roof looks great. Nothing was damaged. I could not find a plant that was crushed or anything like that.

Excellent. The owner was very knowledgeable and went out of his way multiple times to ensure the job was done properly. Much more hands on than most other roofing companies. So we felt assured he would take care of any problems that might arise. He was very thorough and took the time to ensure that we were satisfied. The installers were very punctual and worked quickly but were, also, very thorough. They worked well as a team and worked hard to complete the job on time. Most importantly, we've experienced no issues with the roof even now 6 months after completion despite this harshest of winters. We would recommend Primo Exteriors.

Everything went great! They were so professional from start to finish. Our deck looks amazing and have had lots of compliments. We will definitely use them again.

Overall, it was a great experience working with James Cox, the owner of Primo Exteriors, LLC. We met with him during our terrible experience we were having with our first contractor (see 7/31/13 review). James fully understood what we were looking for in materials and workmanship to put our storm damaged home back in order, and did he ever do that.. Our 35 year old home now has never looked this good! We have even had a neighbor tell us it looks like a brand new home. James is a real professional. He came out to our home and measured up our roof, siding, gutters, downspouts, and shutters and proceeded to give us pricing all within 1 hour. This included all materials, labor and warranties. As far as pricing goes, he was right within the price range our insurance company, Safeco, was allocating for our repairs. We felt pricing was important, but what was of utmost importance to us was the TRUST that developed. From our own experiences, this was the number 1 issue for us. James did everything he said he would do. All of his crews, roofing, siding and gutters, were excellent as well. They exceeded our expectations! The amount of time to complete our project was excellent , as doing things very quickly, contrary to popular belief, is not always best. James made sure we were very happy with his work, and we are. He even went above and beyond the call of duty when he located matching bead board for our porch and first floor overhang, at a MBS warehouse in Canada and had it shipped to our home. This made my wife extremely happy. We would definately recommend Primo Exteriors, LLC for your home improvement projects. James will get your job done right. We will use his services for future work as well. Thanks again, James!!!!! Update 11/12/14: Service after the sale is so important, and James of Primo Exteriors is second to none on this. When he installed our roof in August of 2013, after our hail damage, the roof never looked better with our top of the line Atlas Stormmaster shingles. Some time shortly thereafter we noticed random spots on the shingles, like the granules had come off and all you could see was the black tar surface of the shingle. James promptly did a reinspection of the entire roof, along with the Atlas representatives, and it was determined that the run of shingles used on our roof were defective, and would have to be replaced and paid for by the manufacturer. This is were, in our opinion, the difference between a good and great contractor comes in. It's just human nature that when something has to be replaced, and is being paid for by the manufacturer, it is probably going to be put on the "back burner" so to speak. James didn't let this happen, as he kept our roof replacement out front and on "the list of things to do today"! Last month our entire roof was replaced by his expert craftsmen, and it looks the best it ever has. James takes all of the anxiety of having a contractor do your home improvement. Our experience with him has been nothing but positive, and we would encourage anyone looking for a great contractor, give him a call!

The roof was installed and inspected by the manufacturers rep upon completeion to assure me that the work was performed to manufacturers specs and no issues would be raised down the road when/if a warranty claim should be needed. The trim and siding were mostly James Hardie products except where the trim required large gaps to meet the manufacturers warranty. Boral trim was used in these cases which allowed tighter gaps and looked better. Again James Hardie field rep was brought in at the end of the job and inspected everything to assure me the job was completed to James Hardie specs.
