The Owner was very pleasant to work with and speak to on the phone and the installer was fantastic. ALSO, The unit I ordered was out of stock, so they upgraded me to a better unit for free!

+ -1 moreIt was a complex installation. The guy had to do some modification to the rails and it was complex but he figured out how to get it done. It has been working fine for the last year. It was a little bit pricey. They charged $4-500 for a garage door opener that I could find online for $200. The service was worth it but the markup on the hardware was a little high. I would use them again depending on price.

When there was a hiccup on which garage door was install, the owner of the company politely listened and corrected the problem. All in all, this company is a VERY HONEST BROKER. + -1 moreOur old door didn't seal out the winter weather at all and was literally hanging off the hinges. The new one is absolutely gorgeous and keeps our uninsulated garage noticeable warmer in the winter. They even managed to get a color that matched the rest of the house trim, and left a small bottle of touch-up paint. They were on time and did a great job; even testing and realigning the electronic eyes. Our kids have bounced numerous balls and bikes off the door without causing a dent or scratch. We weren't even home for the installation. We had a neighbor "supervise" the work (the job consisted of watching TV while they worked). The new door was in and the old one hauled away in a jiffy. I love the new garage door and would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Spring broke on our garage door. Overhead came out and fixed the spring and sold us a new door opener with remote comtrol. It's very quiet and we like it. However, they did have to come back the next week because of a squeek. They wanted to charge us for the service call, but we said "no." They did not charge us. The door still squeeks.

+ -1 moreResponded promptly and thoroughly to request for estimate (there was some question about the door fitting properly due to the age of our house). Ordered door which took 6 weeks to arrive as it had to be manufactured (wood laminate eco door). Installed in a timely manner, working with our schedule, but the installer was not experienced with installing new doors on old houses and the job had to be redone, though they sent their senior installation manager to redo the job to our satisfaction within 2 weeks. We are satisfied with the product and the second installation . This was one of the only companies that would handle replacing the woodwork around the garage door on the exterior.

Description of Work: I accidently bumped my garge door with the hatch of my SUV as the door was opening, causing a piece of the automatic garage door opener to break. It was so off-track that I couldn't even close the door manually. I called the Overhead Door Company, and they came out that same day. He fixed the door so it could at least close, and since my opener was an old "builder's special", I decided to purchase a new garage door opener, rather than repair the old one. The next day someone was out to install the new opener. He was very professional and did an excellent job. As for the opener itself, it is VERY quiet. Since my bedroom is over the garage, this is important. It is a huge improvement over my old garage door opener. Sometimes bad luck (accidently breaking the opener) can turn into good luck.

+ -1 moreWe were satisfied with their work. They gave a thorough estimate and came in the right day. There was a little follow up at the end of the work. The electrical part of the door stopped working 3 days after the job was done. I called them and they came back. He came up with an explanation that didn't make a lot of sense. I had to contact another company that made the door and they wanted the work order from this company. Then they came over and inspected it. I had to follow up with the company 3 times to get the letter. I would use them again in future.

She explained the fees and also the pricing on what might be extras. She also explained the coupon for Angies List. Denise set the appointment for the next day. Paul showed up for the appointment on time and immediately knew what was wrong. He fixed the problem without additional hourly fees and only replaced the parts that needed replaced. I was so happy that I paid to have an exterior keypad added. Paul is an honest and knowledgable person. I was so happy I had him show up for my appointment, Denise did a great job over the phone. I would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Serviced single garage door lubricated and tested the door. Replaced 3 inch pulley and 9 foot bottom seal. Installed wireless exterior keypad.

I am assuming the 10% only applies to either labor or to parts, but not both. Price was reasonable, but not exceptional. I rated a C instead of a B because the coupon didn't amount to 10% as advertised. That said, I would use them again.
