It was fine. We had no problems. The tenant said they were very professional and courteous.

We love them. They come twice a year. They are nice and effective. They took advantage of me only once. I couldn't get the heat on and couldn't see where the batteries went. They charged me for a house call a couple of years ago to change the batteries for the thermostat. I've used them for about 20 years.

Shane does the work for us. I feel comfortable letting him into our home and know that he'll close up afterwards.

They did a great job. They worked on it until they got it done and they showed up when they were supposed to. They communicated very clearly. It cost a lot. Their price may be a little high but I think the pay is appropriate for what they do. It's like you kind of get what you pay for.

Making the appointment was easy and the lady scheduling was very friendly and cooperative. The appointment was set between 10:00 am and 11:00. The technician Sean called at 9:45 saying he would arrive within five minutes and sure enough he pulled up 10 minutes early. He put shoe covers on when entering and was very friendly. He went to our unit quickly and completed the inside and outside portions quickly. When he checked the outside AC unit he discovered a failing start capacitor that would have failed soon. He asked if I wanted it replaced after I was shown the defective part and I agreed. He also told me to go to their website and download a $25 coupon for repairs. He didn't need to do that but that was extremely nice he did so. After replacing the part, he finished up with the service call in a total of 50 minutes. He used a tablet to enter the information for the invoice and emailed it to me which was very quick. He asked if I had any other concerns before he left. Sean is a great technician and a real asset to Bartel's.

We discovered that the AC compressor was no longer working just a few days before a long-planned trip out of the country. We have worked with Bartels for system-maintenance for a long time, so we called. They were immediately responsive, sending a HVAC system expert to evaluate our situation and propose solutions. We agreed on the purchase of a new furnace and compressor. Bartels helped us arrange financing. And, we agreed on service dates before departing on our trip. When we got home, Bartels installers arrived, right on time, the second day after our return. They removed the old furnace and compressor and got us back into efficient service in a day-and-a-half.

Technician Steve was very professional, found the problem right away and had what he needed to repair the Heat pump. Great Job, and I would highly recommend Bartels.
