Description of Work: Serviced air conditioner. It went fine. They tried to explain the difference between |regular air conditioners and heat pumps. I'm still not sure which I want but they |are good at explaining and are very patient. We need a new air conditioner soon. |I would recommend them. We have been with them for years.

He spoke with someone that was supposed to get back with me the next day to quote a price. He never called or return my calls. So I went with another company I found on Angie's list.

Description of Work: This amount for sevice call was for 2 visits. One in the spring and one in the fall. They cleaned and inspected my electronic air cleaner. Cleaned my outside air conditioner unit, and inspected the furnace unit to make sure everything was working properly for the heat as well as the air conditioning that was soon to be used.Were promt and cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: Bartel's replaced my 22+ year old furnace and AC unit with top-of-the-line Carrier Infinity system. My AC unit died completely in early May. I had 5 HVAC companies come out for estimates to replace AC unit AND gas furnace. Ed from Bartel's was the ONLY one that actually did the heat/cool calculations to make sure I was getting the right sized system. Installation was on time and professional. They even had the AC working on the first day of the 2 day install. Bartel's was not the cheapest estimate I received, but they were by far the most thorough and professional. People say that it's not the equipment that makes a reliable system; it's the installation. I honestly believe that.

Description of Work: The service tech preformed an ac tune up on the original unit to the house ( built in 97) and my first tune up since owning the house in May 2013. He was professional, polite and was very informative. The tech answered all my questions and explained what he was doing very well and even informed me that a few things had already been repaired on the unit. They also worked around my schedule and a special request for that particular service tech that I had good experience with in the past.

Description of Work: I have an annual maintenance contract with them for my HVAC system. I have used them for the past 5-6 years and have been very happy with their service. Their service technicians are professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, thorough and arrive when they say they will. One took the time to place blocks under the AC condensor to raise it above the mulch bed. Another noticed an outside temperature sensor had been installed but never connected so he hooked it up and set the thermostat to adjust the inside humidity based on outside temperature to avoid condensation on the windows.
