Description of Work: They have installed 2 new furnaces and they do all the service for the furnace and air conditioning system. I have had them for about 45 years. Their service is excellent and they do a very good job. They clean up after themselves and they are very nice. They also don’t pressure you.

Description of Work: I had a loud noise coming from my furnace/ac in basement. Bartels came out in approx an hour, knew immediately what problem was. It was the blower wheel which in turn damaged the motor. They did not carry that particular brand. Rather than ordering one and shipping (this was close to weekend), one of their employees lived near a supplier and picked it up and installed next day. They went out of their way to help me. I in turn signed up for their service agreement and get special discounts they provide.

Description of Work: Our A/C unit needed Freon. Not cheap, but I saved a little on the service call with the pre-paid coupon. Jerol was our service person and he was very informative and friendly. He explained everything as he went. I will use them in the future for any HVAC needs.

Description of Work: Bartel's came out for a service call because we had no heat. The service tech was professional and quick, letting us know that there was no hope for our existing furnace. They had an estimate for a new furnace that day, and had it installed within just a few days. We were told the furnace would be more efficient than the existing one, and we've seen a decrease in monthly bills of about half, while keeping the house warmer.

Description of Work: Upstairs heater was not working. The technician came in and went right to work. Very profession and personable. Fixed problem and discussed the need for a maintenance plan. Signed up and looking forward to working with them again.

Description of Work: My air conditioner went out on the hottest day of the summer and they |replaced the same day that I called them. Not sure of the exact date or |cost. They also serviced my furnace many times.

Description of Work: Purchased an Angie's List coupon for Fall Heating Tune-up Services. Superior service provided by the tech - Steve J. Professional, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. Did an outstanding job cleaning furnace and resolved an issue with a loud bang that happened when the furnace would turn off. Will absolutely use Bartels again in the Spring for an A/C tune up and will request Steve J for services.

Description of Work: We bought a service agreement from them & got a bid for a new zone control system.

Description of Work: They removed my old air conditioning unit from my patio so that concrete repair work could be done, and then several weeks later, installed a new Carrier air conditioning unit in its place along with necessary work inside. They were able to accommodate my work schedule as well as the schedule of the contractor that did the concrete work.
