Pulled and cleaned burners, tested gas pressure, put shield on inducer. Tested furnace. Furnace is working fine, is quieter now than when it was new.

They arrived on time and they explained what they were doing a they worked.

When he determined that our leak didn't come from the air conditioner, he suggested our next repairman should be a plumber, and DID NOT charge us anything!

We were pleased with Bartels' service. Both the A/C and heater are the builder-installed units and more than 17 years old. We had multiple estimates and Bartels' was significantly lower. When I called John (sales) to talk through the estimate details he provided thoughtful, candid comments that matched information I found via multiple Internet searches about replacing A/C and what duct work was necessary. John came out the first day along with the two installers. He stayed to get them started. The installers were dressed in uniforms, on time, polite, and professional. They cleaned up as they went along and left our basement clean-they took all of their supplies and packing material with them. They installed the A/C the first day and the heater the second day. Our house stays a nice 70 degrees through the late summer heat and does not run constantly as did our previous one. We cleaned out our storage room in advance of the installation so the installers had plenty of room to maneuver. After they left we spent a week going through all of our "stuff" and donated most of it to charitable causes. (Note: this action has nothing to do with Bartels' service but that we worked so hard at it compels me to write about it. Thank you for reading to this point!).

They did an excellent job. I am really happy with them. They come twice in a year. They come during the fall to make sure that the heating part of it is okay; they adjust the gas burners if needed. Their pricing was really good because before they came I had 2-3 quotes; they were better deal as far as the installation on the furnace was concerned. They were here the day they said they were going to come. They got all the work done within the time they said it would be done. They got all the work done within the time they said it would be done. They cleaned everything up when they were done with the job too. I have not had any trouble with the furnace and for this fall I would have had it for three years. It cut my utility bill a lot; it is one of those 99% efficient furnaces and I really like it. I have a old house and is not insulation as it should have been. They were very good because when I called them for the service call they got me in within a day; I was happy with this. They called me before they showed up to let me know that they were on their way. I had some questions about something’s which were explained very thoroughly so that I understood. They were really good.

Overall it was good. Technician was clean, professional looking service, straight answers to all of my questions. He did not try to push unnecessary repairs on my old A/C unit.

Our furnace started sounding funny on a Friday morning. I called Bartel's because I had used them last summer because of the good reviews on this site. A repairmen was at my house on the same day and in the time frame given at initial call. He was very professional and friendly and already had the parts needed for the repair. Every employee I've had contact with has been professional and helpful. The coupon is nice too!

The experience went well overall! The technician did an excellent job with explaining everything, and did a great job with the installation, too. One of the issues that I had was with the wirning; it wasn't up to where it should've been. They made sure that the wiring was repaired and were really concerned about doing a good job and making sure sure that what did worked when they were all finished.

I have a geo-thermal system. It went off on Sunday. I called on Monday and the technician was out that same day. I have been using this technician since 1999. When he switched to Bartel, I went with them.

Bartels comes every six months to perform an HVAC inspection. They check to make sure that my heating and air conditioning systems are working properly. I feel these bi-annual inspections have been key to keeping my system humming along smoothly. We will use them again.

It all went very well. I contacted at least five(5) local contractors for quotations. Bartels had the most impressive experience and they were most prompt in providing a most professional quote to me. And...they gave me the lowest price! They made my selection a no brainer decision. Yes, I would use them again as my heating system is performing just fine according to my tenant.

We have had a fine experience with them. I knew the original owner of the company. We were neighbors. He retired and sold the business to one of his employees who carried on. They do just as good work as they did before. They are a little bit pricey.

The experience went really well. John was the person who sold us the furnace and the air conditioning unit. He was very professional, on time, and clean. He had us a reasonable price within ten minutes and we immediately hired them because the price was $1,000+ lower than the other companies we looked at. The replacement was very quick and smooth-we had it done within about four hours time. They cleaned up after themselves very well. They were uniformed, clean cut, and conducted themselves professionally.

They were timely and professional. They let me know what they had done. They answered all of my questions. They offered us a contract for them to return in the fall to maintenance the heating unit and again in the spring to maintenance the A/C unit. They claimed they would call us to schedule. They forgot to call in the winter for the heater but luckily I remembered. This would NOT prevent me from recommending them. $86 was for each tune-up.
