Description of Work: We had a problem with a water heater. We called on a Thursday afternoon and he was there late that afternoon. With 4 kids under 6, time frame was excellent. Very professional. If we need any service in the future, we know who to call. Thank you.

Description of Work: I received a call from one of our renters on New Year's Day. A faucet in the tub had broken off. Water was not running, but the shower and tub could not be used. The plumber I had been using did not call me back right away, probably due to the holiday. I was looking for someone who could commit to coming out the following day, if possible. I had never used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing before but got the company name from Angie's List. When I called, I got directly through to Tim (the owner) who said he could help me the following morning between 8 and 10. I received a call at 9:00 the following morning. He was at the property and described the problem to me. He suggested several options, but suggested I could save some money by proceeding with one of them. I agreed, he did an excellent job, and the problem was resolved right away. I was so pleased at how easy he made my job and that he does excellent work. He even waived the service call fee because I was a member of Angies List. I will definitely be using him again!

Description of Work: Contacted Tim about a leak in my kitchen ceiling. Tim came out on a Saturday at no additional charge at 7pm and found the leak and fixed it. Did such a great job and really put our minds at ease.

Description of Work: We had water stains on our kitchen ceiling. We thought we had a plumbing leak in our upstairs. We called Ben Franklin. He came out and did a THOROUGH investigation and determined that our problem was not caused by faulty plumbing. His investigation took a good while. We asked him how much we owed him for his time and he chose not to charge us anything. That just does not happen. He has done other work for us before. And, he will do work for us again. He has garnered a customer through his honesty, integrity, and skill.

Description of Work: They replaced a broken toilet for us. The worker was punctual, courteous, and they gave us a choice of toilets. He was very quiet so he wouldn't wake the sleeping baby and he was very patient and friendly with my four year old grand-daughter who had lots of questions.
