The service and professionalism of the plumber was excellent. I had a corroded hose connected to my washer and couldn't get it off. The technician came out and sawed the hose end off, installed my new hose and checked a few other issues I had concerns about and set up another service date to fix my tub. He was nice, friendly and fair in price. In addition, he came out within 45 minutes to fix my problem and I truly appreciate his commitment to his profession.

He came out and knew right away how to take care of my underground plumbing. He found the leak and fixed it promptly. Tim is just fantastic. He's been out at least 3 times to help me. I had to move my well and he really helped me to get things working right. My neighbors have even called him because they saw his truck in my driveway.

I called them and they came out the same day to fix my problem. The new connector on the basement water line that he had installed had a slight leak and when I called, he came that day to correct it. He also went the "extra mile" by checking my water tank for me and adjusting the temperature gauge on the top and bottom burners without charging me. I highly recommend this company,.

He was quick, friendly and did nice work, but he was pricey. We had him out for one job, but fixed other problems while he was there. It was great, but we didn't talk about the pricing for the other two jobs beforehand. He ended up charging me like he came out for three visits.

Tim knew exactly what to do, and was in and out in an hour. I really think the price was pretty good, but because he was so efficient at working it seemed a little less of a value on a per-hour basis. Nevertheless he was honest and cleaned up after himself. I also liked that he was able to get at a tough to reach location and instead of me having to fix the drywall, he put a panel over the wall, which makes a lot more sense in case I ever have to access that pipe again. Nice job!

Appointment was scheduled very quickly and worker was very prompt and friendly. It took 3 hours to clear multiple clogs in the drainage system ( much longer than anticipated ). The quality of work was excellent with one exception. My sump drainage needed a small section of pipe replaced and the worker did not have the correct size on hand. He advised that he would be back the next day to finish the work. After a few days of waiting he had not come back. I called and he contacted me immediately and admitted a lapse in memory. The work was completed within 2 days of that call. I was very happy with the work and would use this company again.

they were early and the only plumer that would come that day he went down checked to see what was wrong and called to make sure he could get a new pump in the size i needed he was back and had it installed the same day he also fixed the stopper in the bathroom .

First - they came out same day as I called to check out the problem - very cool. They thought it was a seal that needed to be replaced, but he needed to go get the seal from somewhere else. So he left, came back a couple hours later, and replaced the seal. Problem seemed to be solved. Two days later, same problem started up again - commode running for no reason - water escaping from the tank slowly, but consistently. So I called them and told them the problem came back. They came out an hour later and replaced the seal again and charged nothing. Problem was seemingly solved, as the water stayed level in the tank and did not leak. About 4 days later - BOOM! It started running again for no reason, the tank was slowly losing water. I gotta admit, I was getting a little frustrated having to call a third time and have them come out again. I called them and scheduled a time for them to come out the next morning. This time the plumber apparently brought a whole new "assembly" for the inside of the water tank and replaced it all - I wasn't there that time, my wife was though. It has been fine for a couple weeks now and I think the problem is finally solved. They were always very professional, courteous, and prompt... but this one obviously stumped them from the get go. Yeah it sucked having to continue calling them over and over again to come out, but they eventually took care of the problem for good and only charged me ONCE. I will use them again in the future. UPDATE 3/14/12 - I've had them do two other projects since the first commode problem and both were done perfectly and QUICKLY. They were awesome. A+++++++++++++++++ Highly recommend!

Plumber replaced an outside faucet which had frozen during the winter. He did a good job, did not arrive as scheduled but did call stating he had two flooded basements to fix first. That's understandable. I thought the price was a little high but I seem to think that about all plumbers. Can't comment on professionalism since I was out of the house at the time he did the work but no complaints from Wife.

We had what we thought was a leaky 2nd floor shower drain. The plumber spent between 2 different days approximately 2 & 1/2-3 hours locating our problem, which was an improperly installed shower door (my handiwork!) which was allowing water to leak from one corner of the shower, run under a baseboard and after that under the shower. He diagnosed and fixed a difficult to diagnose problem for a very reasonable price, was punctual & professional, he even cleaned up his mess after finishing!! A+ all the way!

He arrived on time and managed to get the new water heater into my basement by himself, which involved negotiating small spaces and a set of steps, without doing any damage. After installation, he removed the packaging and old water heater. All went well. He is a pleasant and informative person.

Called the office at 4:30pm, the owner called me at 5:00 and was at my house within 1 hour. Very courteous and professional. Very reasonable price.

My old hot tap water dispenser was leaking and needed to be replaced. I discovered the leak on Friday but didn't know how to shut off the water source to the dispenser. TI called BF plumbing and although the plumber didn't have time that day to install the new dispenser, he did stop by my house and located and shut off the dripping water. There was no charge for this "emergency" stop. He returned Monday morning and installed the new dispenser which is working fine. I truly appreciated the timely help and friendly service.

We were pretty desperate for water so we were elated when we found out he does work on weekends and even more excited when he said he could do it the same day (a Saturday). He did the job in the rain, and in a big muddy hole in the ground. Not only that, but his price was atleast $200 cheaper than our next cheapest estimate. Tim charged for the job, not 4 hrs minimum at $110 an hour which is what other companies wanted. Tim was very polite, very knowledgeable, and got us running water in 40 minutes. I would highly recommend them again.

Called their offices at approximately 9:30am and the office person, Jan, gave an arrival time of early afternoon. Tim, the owner, arrived at approximately 1:30pm. He snaked the drain and found the clog within 5 minutes. He then replaced the toilet seal for a total repair time of about 30-45 min. I was extremely pleased with the services provided. The price of the repair was extremely reasonable and Tim was great. I would highly recommend Tim and his company.

He charged for a permit but I cannot find any evidence of a permit when I search the permits database. No inspection happened and he told me it was because they only do spot inspections. At this point, I think he collected the money for a permit but never got it.

I called on Monday afternoon and talked to the lady who answered the phone and she had him call me to schedule service. He called me back within 10min. Explained that the shower was leaking down into our kitchen when it was turned on. He offered to come out that evening but I scheduled for the next morning he called tues am to say he was about 15 min away. He put booties on prior to entering the house. Went straight upstairs to look at the shower, came down and looked at the ceiling he asked if I wanted him to put a hole in the ceiling so he could use the camera to try and see exactly Where the leak was coming from, which was fine since we needed to replace that section of drywall anyway. He laid out a drop cloth on the floor prior to putting the hole in the ceiling. While inspecting it he realized the drain wasn't attached to the shower at all. He knew exactly what to do with it and explained what needed to be done very simply. Since we had him here we decided to have him look at the slow drain and the loose toilet. Our total estimate was lower than I would have expected. He went for the part and came right back and got everything fixed. This was a very easy company to do business with and we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg like we thought we were going to have to. He even swept up the floor where some drywall dust had missed his drop cloth. I will definately use this company again.

Overall it went very well. He was just very knowledgeable about what to do. He came out late at night and actually offered to do some additional things to help protect me from having the same problem again, which he followed up on and did. He?s just really very pleasant. My grand daughter lives with me and he?s really nice to the little ones. I liked his willingness to come and fix the problem even though it was a difficult time. He followed it up and he came back and did what he told me he would come back and do. There was a delay in him being able to come out, but he came when he said he could, so his punctuality is fine. I would use his services again in the future.

They came out about 4 times. Their first visit did not solve the problem. They came back the 2nd time for free and appeared to solve the problem. The same problem occurred again, they came out and did work and were charged. When the same problem occurred a 4th time and they performed the service for no charge.

The lady whom I spoke with at their office was very professional when I called. She asked my contact information and relayed that to the plumber who called me back immediately to get a description of the problem. He assured me he could come by that same evening within a 1 hour window. He was right on time, wore shoe covers (my wife and I appreciated that), looked at the faucet and went to his truck. He returned with a pricing sheet, explained the charges, and got my approval before proceeding. It took him only a few minutes and our shower was fixed. I should have called him earlier in the week instead of worrying it would cost a fortune to rip out the shower and drywall to get to the plumbing! The price was somewhat high I think because the faucet was maybe ten dollars itself, but the peace of mind letting a professional deal with it was worth it for us.

I called on a Saturday afternoon when I noticed water on my kitchen floor. I looked on Angie's list for a recommendation and after looking at a few (that didn't have emergency hours) I came across Benjamin Franklin and called them. The woman who answered was very pleasant and I was able to speak with the plumber. He told me he could be at my house in 2-2 1/2 hours. Since I had water spraying from a pipe under my sink, I was thrilled. He came and was very professional. He fixed the problem and made sure that nothing was wrong with my dishwasher (since it was that connection that had been leaking). He also checked in my crawl space to be sure that no damage had been done to the floor. I asked him to look at my bathroom sink while he was there, since the water connections were done incorrectly when the house was built. He was able to fix that also. I was very pleased with how he explained everything to me and the charges were less than I thought they would be for an emergency Sautrday visit. I have already been recommending him to all of my friends who may need a plumber.

The plumber showed up on time and did an excellent job. He added an extra cut off valve so we would have it and gave us instructions on the best way to winterize the line. I'm very pleased with the overall experience.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is a local company. They provided a quote and completed the project. They were on time and did everything I asked them to do. I was very pleased with them. They came when I wanted them to come over. Their cost was reasonable. I would use their service again

I thought they were very good. The price was in the same ballpark as the other estimates that we received. He did a little extra service because I am physically disabled. We've used them before because they were the only company that responded to our Christmas dinner emergency. I highly recommend them.
