Called and scheduled appt. Received estimate. Showed up on time. Did a great job of replacing my outdoor faucet. Price was close to estimate, however a little over. Overall very satisfied. Very professional.. Will call again next time I need a plumber.

I discovered the leak at about 8 AM. They had a guy out by about 9 AM. Even though it was tight access, he was able to squeeze in enough to replace the section of pipe with a new piece, with a pair of shark bite connectors. He wasn't there very long. It was a priority for us, since the whole house is served by that line. The woman who answered the phone to schedule the appointment was exceptionally cheerful, and sounded like she liked her job. That gave me a good impression right away. As an Angie's List member, the service call fee was waived, leaving just the work itself. The price is fixed as a function of the work performed. I was not charged for the piece of pipe or the connectors.

The technician who came out did a decent enough job and the price seemed to be fair. The only thing that really bothered me about using him was I believe he replaced a faucet called Moen. He explained to me that sometimes if you ran into a Moen dealer they would give you a refund on that. He said that if I gave him the faucet and if he came across the dealer he would get the refund and give it to me. I did not really think much about it but when I was at Home Depot a year later looking at something I discovered that they will replace that thing 100-percent; no questions asked. I felt like he took advantage of me so that he could go into a Lowes or Home Depot and make the switch himself so that kind of ticked me off. However, in terms of the service he did a good job; the price was fair and the service was good. He seemed to know what he was doing but I thought the way he went around the faucet issue was a little bit backhanded.

It went great (after it was over). We had a main water line in the home break and it wasn't discovered until 11 pm on a Friday night. We called Ben Franklin plumbing (we had used them before) and explained the problem and Tim was at our home within 15 minutes after we called. He repaired the leak and found that the shut off valve to the sink where the leak was, was leaking as well so he replaced it. He estimated that about 200 gallons of water had leaked and he provided some very sound suggestions on how to clean it up and how it then needed to be dried out so all the moisture would be removed.Since it was after 11 pm when he arrived our neighbor saw his van pull into our driveway and came over to see who it was and said he saw Tim (plumber) get out of his van like he was going to a fire. That shows how dedicated they are in helping their customers. He did a great job. It took it quite a few hours to get everything cleaned up but we finally did. Kudos to Tim at Ben Franklin for such a quick response and for fixing the problems. We couldn't be more satisfied (after we got the mess cleaned up).

The original (1970s) faucet in our guest bathroom had been leaking when we turned on the shower for a long time, but then started leaking constantly and we called Tim out for an estimate. He was able to come out to our house the same day and quickly assessed the problem as a bad washer for the constant leak, but needed to replace all the faucets to guarantee that the other stems wouldn't start leaking as well. We also had a leak in our master bathroom shower drain that had prevented us from using it for a while as well. Tim gave us a price and time quote on both jobs. I called the next morning a scheduled the repairs/replacement for later in the week. The day of the repair Tim showed up on-time and started working right away. He replaced the drain and the trap to ensure there were no other issues or leaks. He then replaced the faucets in the guest shower/tub. The plumbing was not readily available, so Tim had to cut an access panel to install the new valves. He also installed shut-off valves for convenience. He installed a nice cover for the access panel. He tested everything, checked for leaks, and cleaned up the multiple work areas. Even though the work took longer and required more parts than originally expected, Tim honored the original estimate he had given us earlier in the week. From the first call we made, the service was outstanding, professional, and we highly recommend the services of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Our Hot Water Heater was intermittedly without Hot Water. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came to our home really very quickly. I called at about 5:30p and they showed up at about 6:30p on Thursday 7/12/12. Tim (The Service Tech) put on Paper booties over his shoes as not to track in any dirt. Tim then proceeded to clean the Ignition sensor and immediately got our Hot Water back. The process took him about 5 minutes. However by morning, 7/13/12, we no longer had Hot Water again. I telephoned the Merchant again at about 4p 7/13/12 and Tim arrived back to our home again at about 6:45p. Tim assessed the situation found the same error lights that were alerting of the issue the previous day, were again, all lit. Tim then advised that the entire Electronic Console needed replaced. Tim advised he had to go to a couple of other calls and would go to their offices to pick up a replacement and come back to complete the work that same evening. Tim arrived back at about 9p and completed the replacement and my unit is now purring like a kitten! I am super pleased with the outcome. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing may not have gotten it completely repaired the first day but they came back as quickly as possible and corrected the situation. I, again, am very pleased that there is a merchant that still stands by their work! Tim was punctual, professional, respectful & courteous. It was obvious to me that he is a very honest family man! Finding only one of these attributes in a merchant these days is no small feat but to possess alll of them.....truly amazing!!! They will certainly be on our speed dial if any additional plumbing situations arise. We've all been there when we accidently hire the merchant that when they look at you and all they see are dollar signs.....Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is a refreshing alteration from the merchants who only contribute as minimumally as possible...as little as they can get away with! Called the company late morning of July 11 and the call was returned within the hour. Tim said he would stop by that evening to see what needed to be done. He was prompt, took a look at my set up and said he could take care of it right then. He made a quick run to Home Depot for a part and was back in half an hour. He completed the job quickly, picked up after himself, was informative, polite and I will not hesitate to call this company again. The price for services was very fair...I recommend this company to others.

I emailed a query and received an email that evening and a visit the next day. Tim assessed the situation, quoted a price and had the job completed in an hour. The quote was about 2/3 the cost of other estimates received and the work was performed during the same visit. When in the house, we wore booties over his shoes as well, which is a mark for professionalism.

Tim came out the same day I called and put on shoe covers before he entered my home. He replaced the washers in my faucet in our bathroom. He then checked our gas fireplace (which was not part of the service call) that was not working and the gas company told me needed a part. It took Tim about 5 minutes to fix it without replacing any parts. I would definitely call him for any future plumbing needs.

They were great! I called them after I'd called another angies list "a" rated company who had given me an estimate for $715 for the exact same job. I was in a bind because my stove was being delivered the next morning and i needed the line in asap. Benjamin Franklin came out that day to provide an estimate, then said they would try to get out that night or early the next morning to do the job. He came first thing the next morning, wore booties, was extremely professional and polite, and came in WAY below the other company's estimate. He was finishing up just as the stove arrived. I couldn't be happier! I have a new plumber!

I called for an estimate & Tim came out the same day. Work was scheduled for a few days later & went smoothly. Clearing the drain ended up being a little worse than we thought it was... tree roots had invaded & clogged further up the line than we thought. So Tim had to come back the next day with a bigger machine to get rid of the blockage. Everything works great now & we can wash clothes without having water come up our drain. We're very pleased with the work & professionalism & will call again in the future if needed.

Tim from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing arrived a few minutes early to give estimate. Estimate was significantly lower than two other estimates. Scheduled the work for a week later. Dave arrived on time to begin the work. He was very polite. Dave had to leave once to get more parts. He said he'd be back in an hour. He arrived in less than hour. Dave did a great job completing the work. The one thing I would suggested is having the service people wear foot covers to help cut down on tracking dirt and debris. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and will use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in the future!

We had a leak under the bathroom sink.We called this company and they came out the same day. They were very fast in finding the problem and fixing it.

Thursday he came out & told us what was wrong & exactly what it would cost. Friday he came & installed it.

They are very prompt and professional. They are very clean. They do not tell you need something if you do not need it. They really know their business. One time they came back and double checked something and did not even charge me.

They were able to come the same day and fix the problem right away. They were going to be a few minutes late from their window, but called to make sure that it was ok that they still come. Very curteous and friendly.

We used them about a year ago and they were great. They did a good job, were dependable, reasonably priced, the owner was very responsive and took care of my problem. We had an outdoor faucet that was leaking and the owner came out to do the job. I give them an A rating and would use them again

I called yesterday and they were on time today. They were efficient, got the parts and did the work. They were very pleasant and cleaned up after themselves when done. I was very impressed and asked that they return to do another drain in the master bathroom. They will be coming Friday. The price was reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

The plumber arrived on time and knew exactly what was needed. He was friendly and did an excellent job. We were extremely pleased because the repair was less extensive than originally thought. The job was finished in perfect time.

Very nice receptionist and they were very prompt even last minute on a Saturday.

Called them at 8:10 am and my hot water heater was fixed and running properly at 10:00. When I spoke to Tim on the phone, he understood what the issue was and able to fix it quickly. I have a home warranty and the contractor they sent out had no idea what the issue was. I was very happy with the professionalism and courtesy they provided and I will use them in the future for all my plumbing needs.

They were responsive to our call to schedule an appointment and scheduled at our convenience. He was professional and got the repairs done quickly. We now have ice and no leaks when we run the dishwasher.

I called their office on Thursday and was able to schedule an appointment for the following Monday, which is what I requested. They arrived Monday morning. Tim checked to see what needed to be done and then we decided the facuet I had purchased was not the one we should use, so he sent his worker to the plumbing supply company to purchase the right facuet and to pick up necessary supplies needed to complete job. Once that was done,Tim left and the worker completed the job. Tim came back to check on things and to make sure everyting was ok.I thought they did a such agood job that I asked for an estimate on other work that I needed to be done in the near future.

It was apparent that Tim is very knowledgeable as he found the problems immediately, and completed the job quickly. Although the price seemed a little high it was worth it having someone respond so quickly. I also appreciated the pleasant reception upon calling the office, and Tim's friendly response. This is something you don't find too often in business'es today.
